In a recent discovery by CriticalRace.org, Loyola University Maryland’s Philosophy Department was found to have described the history of the United States as one defined by the “snuffing out” of Black people through “white supremacist vigilantism” in its “Statement of Solidarity with BIPOC Community at Loyola and Beyond.” First issued in 2020 in response to the killing of George Floyd, the statement remains active on the department’s main university website.

In a recent discovery by CriticalRace.org, Eastern Washington University was found to include a locker room policy that specifically states students may use whichever changing facility that matches their gender identity. According to the Eastern Washington University Policy Administration’s EWU 402-02: Diversity & Nondiscrimination policy, students are allowed to undress in whichever facility matches their “gender expression or identity.”
