Mary is the resident libertarian. She covers stories in every vertical, but her favorite thing to do is take on the media. She saw its bias against the right when she was a socialist.

Mary loves the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks, tennis, cats, Oxford comma, Diet Coke, and needlework.

President Joe Biden once again referred to his vice president as "President Harris." From Fox News:
"When President Harris and I took ..." Biden said, before momentarily pausing, "a virtual tour of a vaccination site in Arizona not long ago, one of the nurses on that tour injecting people, giving vax each shot, was like administering a dose of hope."

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio has no problem with the NYPD acting like the speech police to help combat so-called hate crimes against Asian-Americans:
“Even if something is not a criminal case, a perpetrator being confronted by the city, whether it’s NYPD or another agency, and being told that what they’ve done was very hurtful to another person — and could, if ever repeated, lead to criminal charges — that’s another important piece of the puzzle,” de Blasio told reporters.

Sen. Rand Paul, who is a physician, scorched Dr. Anthony Fauci because he wants Americans to wear a mask until 2022 even if they had the COVID-19 vaccine or the virus:
"You've been vaccinated and you parade around in two masks for show," Paul continued. "You're defying everything we know about immunity by telling people to wear a mask that have been vaccinated."’

Former New Jersey teacher Susan Parsons will receive a $325,000 settlement from the Wall Township School District after alleging her bosses forced her to edit a MAGA shirt in a 2016-17 yearbook. Parsons, who voted for President Donald Trump, claimed her bosses made her the scapegoat after the story made national news, leading to hate mail and threats.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell announced he plans to file two countersuits against Dominion Voting Systems: one on behalf of him and the other on behalf of his company. Dominion filed a $1.3 billion defamation suit against Lindell after he implied it rigged the 2020 presidential election against President Donald Trump.

The Kimball family had no problem flying on Spirit Airlines from Little Rock to Las Vegas last weekend with Carter, their non-verbal autistic 4-year-old child. On the way home, the airline kicked the boy off the plane because he did not wear a mask. The family had a note from a physician exempting him from a mask due to his condition.

The United Auto Workers (UAW) told Ford employees at an Ohio plant the company wants to move production of a new line to Mexico instead of their Ohio Assembly Plant (OHAP). Ford has not made its decision public, but the union insists it received "strategically limited information," and the situation is "rapidly evolving."

The Atlanta police said Robert Aaron Long, the man suspected of murdering eight people at three spas, allegedly admitted to the killings. The suspect also told the police race did motivate him to kill. He blamed his sex addiction. Again, stop politicizing deaths to advance your narrative. The police said six Asian Americans died, but so did two white people.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy told reporters the border patrol agents he met warned him about "suspected terrorists are trying to cross into the United States via Mexico." The left went crazy, calling McCarthy a liar or laughing at him. Rep. Reuben Gallego (D-AZ) tweeted that as the chairman of the subcommittee on Intelligence and Special Operations he never heard of this news.

CBS News reported the Border Patrol's backlog has 4,200 children and has held 3,000 of them past the legal limit. About 9,000 unaccompanied children are at the Department of Health and Human Services facilities. These 4,200 children at border patrol facilities means the U.S. has over 13,000 children in custody.
