Planned Parenthood Affiliate at Plymouth State Opens Free Plan B Vending Machine on Campus

Planned Parenthood affiliate opens free Plan B vending machine at Plymouth State
Students returning this fall at Plymouth State University (PSU) in New Hampshire will have access to a Plan B vending machine supported through their student senate.
The vending machine was opened by the Reproductive Rights Action Club at the end of the spring semester, according to the university’s student-run newspaper, The Clock.
The machine reportedly offers free “condoms, internal condoms, dental dams, over-the-counter birth control, pregnancy tests, ovulation tests, and Plan B.”
”Living in a very rural area in the mountains, it’s especially important to have access when it’s under attack,” Hannah Lowell, president of the club, said at the time.
While most of the machine’s contents were donated by organizations including Planned Parenthood, the vending machine itself was purchased with $1,900 supplied by the Student Senate. The club itself purchased the Plan B supplies.
The senate receives funding through mandatory student fees. Full-time students must pay an annual $211 “Student Activities” fee. The same fee for part-time students is $9 per credit.
The fee “supports student club activities as approved by Student Government as well as provides financial support for all-campus student activities such as the Outdoor Center,” according to the university’s website.
The Reproductive Rights Action Club is a chapter of Planned Parenthood Generation Action (PPGA), which has over 350 college and university groups.
The network seeks to “mobilize advocates for reproductive freedom,” “raise public awareness about reproductive health and rights,” and “educate young people about sexual health.” Among its services, PPGA provides free contraception for students.
PPGA has often been at the forefront of efforts to install more machines on college campuses. The University of New Hampshire’s PPGA chapter worked with the Student Senate in recent years to install a similar Plan B vending machine.
Temple University’s PPGA chapter executed a similar operation in February.
”Student health and safety aren’t just about campus security,” the chapter’s president said. “It is also about unimpeded access to comprehensive medical care, including reproductive care.”

I heard that Plan B pills make unbelievable no-scrub toilet whiteners.
It takes five or six pills to clean the average size toilet.
Other than plan B there’s nothing even controversial here. I’m not even against plan B based on embryonic development but if one were so inclined they could just vend all of it out of stock.
Not unless you consider the “all my s* has to he FREE” entitlement attitude controversial.
