FBI Arrests Multiple Anti-Israel Activists for Allegedly Targeting Leaders at U Michigan and Others

“a 10 count indictment for allegedly targeting University of Michigan leaders and businesses in the Eastern Michigan region with violent threats and attacks”

Multiple people were arrested by the FBI in Michigan this week for allegedly threatening leaders at the University of Michigan and others. The group is made up of current and former students who are demanding that the school divest from Israel, the signature demand of the BDS (Boycott Divest Sanction) movement.

If all of this sounds familiar, it’s because the FBI raided Michigan for almost identical reasons in April of 2025. I am not sure if it’s the same people, but it is the same cause.

In this case, the feds came with indictments.

This is a quote from the tweet below by FBI Director Kash Patel:

Early this morning, @FBI and partners arrested 7 individuals on a 10 count indictment for allegedly targeting University of Michigan leaders and businesses in the Eastern Michigan region with violent threats and attacks.

The indictment alleges that after the October 7, 2023 Hamas terrorist attack on Israel, these individuals – a group of college-aged adults – engaged in a coordinated campaign of violent, criminal acts seeking to pressure University of Michigan leaders and other businesses in the Eastern District of Michigan to cut off all ties with Israel.

The subjects allegedly vandalized the victims’ property, spray painted their homes with messages like “Intifada” and “Free Palestine,” left threatening notes on their doors, and even broke windows of the victims’ homes – throwing glass jars filled with chemicals while children slept inside.

They deliberately chose the one-year anniversary of Hamas’s attack to engage in some of their most visible criminal acts – including one subject who specifically targeted the Bloomfield Township Jewish Federation on October 7, 2024. On the same day, another subject – employed by the University – vandalized the University President’s home.

The details from the Department of Justice are very damning:

Eight individuals associated with the University of Michigan were indicted for their alleged roles in conspiracies to threaten University of Michigan leaders, law enforcement, and businesses, including the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit, announced U.S. Attorney Jerome F. Gorgon Jr. Special Agent in Charge Jennifer Runyan of the FBI Detroit Field Office joined Gorgon in the announcement.

A federal grand jury returned an indictment against Zainab Aliasgar Hakim (Canton, Michigan) (age 23), Amatullah Aliasgar Hakim (Ann Arbor, Michigan) (age 21), Paige Elizabeth Feyock (Ann Arbor, Michigan) (age 26), Ahmet Kerem Korkaya (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) (age 28), Jonathan Hongru Zou (Ann Arbor, Michigan) (age 22), Alexander Matthew Sepulveda (Chicago, Illinois) (age 23), Mariam Muhammed Odeh (Dearborn, Michigan) (age 24), and Colin Hunter Weger (Ann Arbor, Michigan) (age 24).

“In America, we rule by law not by fear. These alleged threats and attempts to terrorize government officials, businesses, and the Jewish Federation are anti-American. We will counter intimidation with justice.” said U.S. Attorney Gorgon…

According to the indictment, on October 20, 2023, the defendants publicly posted a list of demands on social media directed at University of Michigan leadership. Among the demands, they required the University to make a “full and complete divestment” from Israel and any businesses supporting Israel. Unsatisfied by the University’s response, the defendants “prepared to take action” against the leadership by what they called “autonomous actions,” which included forcibly entering and occupying University of Michigan buildings, defacing buildings, and blocking and disrupting events on campus. They also posted threats on the internet that included photos of their “autonomous actions.” …

The defendants also allegedly held meetings to identify targets of their “autonomous actions.” They used the internet to research personal addresses, photographs, political and social connections, business ownership, and other personal details of the targets. They also discussed methods by which to harm the targets and their families, including poison, bombs, and psychological torture. For example, on May 21, 2024, Feyock and then-medical student Korkaya agreed to “kill,” “torment,” and “terrorize” their targets and families. Referring to one victim, Korkaya stated his “entire family” was on his “hit list” Feyock added that they should “get” the “kids” of two victims. Korkaya, referring to another victim, stated, “I’m gonna be the dirtiest f——- doctor ever / I’m gonna be [victim’s] doctor / poison her a– slowly.” Feyock agreed, “We need people following [victim] / get into that house then burn it down.”

There is so. Much. More. This document goes on and on with charges. These people are in serious trouble.

According to a defense lawyer in this video report, the people who were arrested were surprised by the experience. Watch this:

For these folks, summer is ending early this year.

This was obviously a thorough investigation and if the feds have all the evidence they need to back this up, these people’s lives may be kind of over.

I can’t be sure, but I sense a pattern here.

Help me out people.

What is it?

That’s good. But how is the FBI getting along with tracking down all the CCP sleeper cells and clandestine bio-weapons labs they’ve established in the U.S. They made the headlines a while back but the issue seems to have quickly disappeared from public view.

Anyone engaged in a campaign of harassment, stalking, vandalism, menacing, threatening much less actual physical violence should get the most serious possible charges brought and maxed at sentencing. Probably gonna need to update the criminal code to make actions at a residence or in general public space v out front of an office building carry higher penalties. More risk to families, neighbors and the general public v in front of an office building with security.

    Much higher penalities.

In addition they need to codify a buffer zone like they do at abortion clinics. Something like 100 yards or even more, Especially for residences. Buffer zones, noise limits tied to time of day the whole works.

A 100-yard buffer zone would be unconstitutional. Even 100 feet is unconstitutional. There is nowhere in the USA where there is a 100-feet buffer zone around abortion clinics, let alone 100 yards.

A buffer zone must be no larger than necessary to guarantee that people can come in and out without being assaulted or blocked, but not so large that they can come in and out without hearing the demonstrators’ message.

And every locality already has noise regulations tied to the time of day. All the police have to do is enforce them.

My, such a cultivated and cultured group these BDS warriors are, eh? Perhaps they will tackle the issues of domestic violence and religious discrimination next?

The need to go after who is funding them as well.

So tell me again how the students for violence against Jews/ (aka “justice” in palestine) is a perfectly acceptable student group simply exercising their 1st ammendment rights? They are the same as the KKK and should not be allowed on college campuses because this is the end result. Harming people, poisoning and inflicting torture, are not student body activities we want to be funding.

Good to see the FBI targeting actual evildoers, rather than targeting the political opponents of the Democrats!
