Boulder Man Pleads Guilty to First Degree Murder in Anti-Israel Firebombing Attack
“the Boulder County District Court was required to impose a prison sentence of life without parole and at least 400 years”
In the spring of 2025, a lunatic in Boulder, Colorado, threw Molotov Cocktails at a group of people peacefully protesting for the release of Israeli hostages by Hamas. One person was killed, and many others were seriously injured.
Authorities treated the attack as an act of terrorism.
The perpetrator, Mohamed Soliman, was screaming ‘Free Palestine’ among other things during the attack. He just pleaded guilty to First Degree Murder and other charges.
CBS News reports:
Boulder firebombing defendant pleads guilty to state charges including first-degree murder
The Boulder firebombing attack defendant pleaded guilty to state charges, including first-degree murder, in court on Thursday morning. Mohamed Soliman admitted to attacking a group on the Pearl Street Mall in June 2025 during a demonstration in support of Israeli captives held by Hamas. According to prosecutors, Soliman threw two Molotov cocktails at the group, killing one person and injuring more than a dozen others.
Soliman had been charged with more than 100 state criminal charges in connection with the deadly attack. Based on Thursday’s guilty plea, the Boulder County District Court was required to impose a prison sentence of life without parole and at least 400 years. The sentencing would be immediate, as both the prosecution and the defence had previously agreed.
Soliman heard the charges against him and answered the charges with guilty pleas through an Arabic interpreter in the courtroom. Judge Nancy Salomone read each charge against Soliman, including the victims’ names associated with each count, in the courtroom.
Those charges include murder in the first degree for the death of Karen Diamond, who died nearly a month after the attack. Other charges include attempt to commit murder in the first degree, attempt to commit assault in the first degree and charges related to undetonated incendiary devices, as well as cruelty to animals.
Why was this person even in the country? What did we gain from his presence here? Now we get to house and feed him for the rest of his life.
More from NBC News:
Soliman is an Egyptian national who federal authorities say was living in the U.S. illegally. Investigators allege he planned the attack for a year and was driven by a desire “to kill all Zionist people.”
Speaking to the court through an interpreter for nearly a half hour, Soliman offered apologies to the victims and condolences for Diamond’s death. “There are no words that can express my sadness for her passing,” Soliman said.
He said he wasn’t asking for leniency at sentencing for his convictions in state court and wants prosecutors pressing federal hate crime charges against him to seek the death penalty.
“If I went back, I would not have done this as this is not according to the teaching of Islam,” Soliman said. “What I did came out of myself and only myself.”
When idiots on the left scream ‘globalize the Intifada,’ this is what that looks like.

That about sums it up…
“For ourselves and our posterity,” dammit.
Not for every dickhead in the Third World.
Wish someone there was “packing” and shot him down like a rabid dog.
Not fair to rabid dogs.
While I agree with the sentiment you know that anyone that would have “shot him down like a rabid dog” would be immediately arrested, jailed, charged with first degree homicide and hate crimes, tried and imprisoned for life without parole, right? The only people that get leniency in the criminal court system are the illegals. Anyone else will have the book thrown at them.
Another follower of the “Religion of Peace” I see.
We must stop the US invasion of Islam.
Islam is not a religion; it is first and foremost a totalitarian political movement and death cult that has a religion attached to it.
Don’t be silly. It is first and foremost a religion. A cult is a religion. And when the USA’s founders recognized the freedom of religion they specifically had Islam in mind. They said so repeatedly.
And they knew how bloodthirsty Moslems could be; they also knew how bloodthirsty Christians could be, since they were still living in the shadow of the religious wars of the 16th and 17th century.
Why the change of heart? Sounds like he has gotten some ‘conditioning’ in the year since attacking innocent protesters in such a horrific, sadistic and murderous way.
Good that this doesn’t make martyrdom attractive. Unfortunately his assertion that “this is not Islam” probably won’t convince many of its more enthusiastic believers. Sad.
Thank Biden– er, Obama– and the Democrats for letting him in and letting him stay, so we could be culturally enriched with this amazing display of Diversity! It’s SO important!
“Boulder man,” my patootie. This is an Egyptian national who has invaded our country. Let’s not echo their inane and dishonest disinformation, hmm?
If he lived in Boulder then “Boulder man” would be correct no matter how he got there. But he didn’t. He lived in Colorado Springs, so I don’t know where this LI poster got that description.
He’s not exactly an invader, since he came here legally; his failure to leave when his visa expired can’t really be described as an “invasion”. The term “invasion” implies an active rather than a passive role.
you forgot to add where he is the professor at some lefty university
No, he isn’t. Before his arrest he was an Uber driver, and before that he worked for a health care company in some capacity.
So he gets special treatment for his guilty plea no doubt.
Appeal coming in 3, 2 1,,, because the trial was not held in his native Arabic and his interpreter was not competent blah blah blargle blah.
While I am glad justice was done in this case the fact that it wasn’t in California indicts our law schools and means we have a lot of work to do cleaning out the rot.
The only thing he got wrong is that his actions ARE in fact within the teachings of Islam.
“Soliman is an Egyptian national who federal authorities say was living in the U.S. illegally.”
He was just doing the job Americans won’t do. Like burning people to death. Our culture is so enriched by them. How dare anyone say that we shouldn’t have unlimited “undocumented immigrants.”
Oh, and I forgot “NOT ALL undocumented immigrants burn people to death.” Very careless of me.
He was living here illegally, but he didn’t arrive illegally. He had a valid visa, but he failed to leave when it expired.
