5th Swalwell Accuser Comes Forward: ‘He Raped Me. And He Choked Me’

“And while he was choking me, I lost consciousness. And I thought I died.”

A fifth woman, Lonna Drewes, has accused Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) of sexual assault. From the video:

In 2018 while I was living and working as a model in Beverly Hills, and I also owned a fashion software company, I had contact with Eric Swalwell on three separate occasions. After meeting him socially, he offered me connections to further my software company, and I also had an interest in local politics.

He invited me to two public events. I knew he was married and that his wife was pregnant. He was my friend.

On the third occasion, I believe he drugged my drink. I only had one glass of wine. We were supposed to go to a political event, and he said he needed to get paperwork from his hotel room.

When I arrived at his hotel room, I was already incapacitated, and I couldn’t move my arms or my body.

He raped me. And he choked me.

And while he was choking me, I lost consciousness. And I thought I died.

I did not consent to any sexual activity.

Although I did not undergo a rape kit at the time, I disclosed the assaut to the people closest to me. I also recorded these events in my handwritten calendar.

The assault and its impact were later documented during my therapy sessions at a sexual assault center.

From Fox News:

“He raped me. And he choked me. And while he was choking me, I lost consciousness. And I thought I died,” Lonna Drewes said Tuesday, while describing an incident that she alleged took place in Swalwell’s hotel room in 2018.

Drewes said she was working as a model and software engineer in Beverly Hills when she met Swalwell and continued to stay in contact socially. When meeting him the third time, Drewes alleged that Swalwell drugged her drink and proceeded to rape her in his hotel room.

Drewes came forward after four women alleged Swalwell committed sexual misconduct and rape, including at least one incident involving a former staffer, as reported by CNN and the San Francisco Chronicle.

Drewes’s press conference comes a day after Swalwell said he plans to resign from Congress.

Swalwell apologized to his “family, staff, and constituents for mistakes in judgment” in his past without specifics.

The Democrat already suspended his California gubernatorial campaign due to the numerous sexual assault and misconduct allegations.

Why do the Dems seem to encourage bad behavior by those in their ranks? Because it gives the party a handle by which those bad actors can be controlled. To the party, bad behavior isn’t a bug, it’s a feature.

Why do all these women come out of the woodwork right before an election with accusations decade or more old and no way to disprove them?

She alleges 7 years ago not 20.

Once one comes for more are emboldened to do so.
They are probably embarrassed and ashamed of the who thing,

In this day and age a women is embarrassed to lodge rape allegations against a sitting Congressman? Boy, do I have a bridge to sell you. As for the NDA talk, you can’t be forced to sign one in order to cover up a crime. It would not be valid.

You have to wonder what Swalwell did (really) or who he p*ssed off or hurt for this well-orchestrated and well-timed bimbo eruption.

      DaveGinOly in reply to diver64. | April 14, 2026 at 2:47 pm

Because they’ve been paid and signed agreements that are NDAs until such time as their testimony is needed, at which point that are contractually obliged to speak out when it’s requested that they do so?

      Exactly

Maybe they think they will be arkancided if they do it alone

That isn’t bad behavior, that is a felony. He should go directly to prison.

Attempted murder during the commission of rape will get you and me a life sentence in California.

Eric might lose his seat in Congress.

Let’s all weep for Eric.

The better question is, why are these young women attracted to politicians, especially Democratic congressmen like Swalwell? What do they think is in it for them? Are they too young to remember Monica Lewinsky and what happened to her during and after the scandal? And why is it that these young women are so willing to get drunk, have oral sex, or sexual intercourse with scumbags like Swalwell? Fame? Money? Voluntary enlistment in mistress-hood? Or failing to realize they are signing up for a lifetime of misery?

Women are attracted to money and power. It’s genetic.
Women like bad boys – toxicity is excitement.

Lewinsky did the initiation. Hildebeast and media savaged her not Bill. It was before some of these women were born.

Bad boys do dangerous things. The ability to dangerous things is a sign of courage and physical prowess. This indicates fitness, health, and almost certainly the ability to provide (hunt) and defend the family. These are qualities to which women are programmed to react.

Many women wait until their eggs are expiring before latching onto to a nice man who has likely been hovering around them and simping for years while they had their multiple flings with Chad and Tyrone and Poopy the clown (to quote a youtuber), It hasn’t always been this way but seems to be post-Boomers for many women. Thank feminism for this behavior.

        Ahh no

Women vote for what they want in Men by which Men they grant sexual access. If Women collectively stopped sleeping with ‘bad boys’ and reserved sex for ‘ boring nice guys’ then Men would respond to that shift in incentives and tailor their behavior to gain access to sex.

I’m hoping his wife takes him to the cleaners in divorce court and he ends up a homeless drug addict if he evades prison.

The Gentle Grizzly | April 14, 2026 at 1:52 pm

Why now? I find Swalwell lower than the bottom end of a beached whale, but still. Why is all of this being churned up NOW?

I’m cynical enough to think it’s all because the Democrats want to reduce the field in the upcoming “jungle primary”. Nothing more.

I doubt all the charges.

    diver64 in reply to rhhardin. | April 14, 2026 at 2:15 pm

So do I and I loathe Swalwell as much as I do Shifty Schiff.

ChrisPeters in reply to rhhardin. | April 14, 2026 at 2:17 pm

I will wait until there is a proper investigation.

In the meantime, I KINDA have doubts, but only because Swalwell seems more the type that is interested in little boys.

Swalwell attempted to ruin many lives when he was in power. Looks like it is his turn.

That’ll teach you girls to accept Jello pudding from a stranger.

After the resignations of Swalwell and Gonzales, who’s next?
Multiple backers of the expulsion of Swalwell and Gonzales, such as Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., had called for two other expulsions: Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, D-Fla., and Rep. Cory Mills, R-Fla.

Only six expulsions have occurred in the history of the House. Although the Constitution provides the House and Senate the authority to discipline and expel its own members, such a measure, which requires a two-thirds majority in the House, is considered extreme.

Mills has denied accusations of assault, as well as sexual and financial misconduct, and is under investigation by the ethics committee.

McCormick has been found guilty by the committee of stealing and laundering millions of dollars in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funding. She has been charged by the Department of Justice (DOJ) but denies wrongdoing.

Drugging and rape with added violence is not a good look Eric. My prejudice is going to show (again) but this is frat boy behavior and he always struck me as a frat boy, His wife should run away now. Again she probably won’t.

A model? With a baseball cap on she could pass for a stevedore.

so where are the police in CA to arrest this rapist?
