Trump Confirms Pam Bondi is Out as Attorney General

Trump Confirms Pam Bondi is Out as Attorney General

“…our Deputy Attorney General, and a very talented and respected Legal Mind, Todd Blanche, will step in to serve as Acting Attorney General.”

President Donald Trump confirmed on Truth Social that Pam Bondi is out as attorney general:

Pam Bondi is a Great American Patriot and a loyal friend, who faithfully served as my Attorney General over the past year. Pam did a tremendous job overseeing a massive crackdown in Crime across our Country, with Murders plummeting to their lowest level since 1900. We love Pam, and she will be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector, to be announced at a date in the near future, and our Deputy Attorney General, and a very talented and respected Legal Mind, Todd Blanche, will step in to serve as Acting Attorney General. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Trump’s post came minutes after Peter Doocy at Fox News broadcast the contents of a phone call he had with Trump:

Okay, I just got off the phone with President Trump. We have a big scoop. Pam Bondi will soon leave her job as the attorney general. She is going to get a different job within the administration. It doesn’t sound like there is any bad blood between her and President Trump. But it does seem like they want her to go and do something else. And in an interim role, she will be replaced by Todd Blanche, who is currently her deputy at the Justice Department, so it doesn’t sound like Blanche is being elevated long term to the attorney general, there might be somebody else that the President wants to go in there. But it — President Trump soon will announce to the entire world that it is the end of Pam Bondi time as the attorney general. He still thinks that she is a great person and that she did a good job. And he still wants her in the fold because she will still be an important part of the administration. He tells me. But no longer as the top law enforcement officer of the United States. That, at least for a little while, is going to be Todd Blanche.

I cannot find any information regarding why Trump let go of Bondi.

Sources told Fox News that Bondi met with Trump before his Wednesday night address about Iran, when he told her about his decision.

Supposedly, Bondi was already on the plane back to Florida by the time Trump started his address.

Derek Hunter isn’t wrong with these posts. I wonder if FBI Director Kash Patel will be next.

Another DEI hire gets moved to a patronage job and out of the way. Rumor has it that Gabbard is next.

That’s a stupid statement. Both Bondi and Patel have made great strides getting rid of deep state actors and dismantling DEI in their departments. I really don’t understand the depth of dislike some have for Bondi other than they don’t think a women should be in that position.

She puts herself out there like a Barbie doll for one

Dresses like she’s at a Miami party with big hot athletes and lots of cocaine

It’s not appropriate and hard to take her seriously

      She’s just not tuff enough

We needed judge Judy and got judge madame

To you, maybe. Perhaps you are just intimidated by pretty women. Her biggest problem is that the rot in the DOJ after Obama and Garland runs so deep it’s a monumental job trying to clean it up. Certainly one year isn’t enough time. Combine that with activist judges making convictions nearly impossible and it’s a tough road which will take a great deal of time. We all know Brennan, Comey, Jack Smith etc should be in jail. Care to guess the odds of that happening in front of a DC jury?

Probably the fact that she hasn’t prosecuted anybody for the crap that we know happened in the last Administration that’s well within the statute of limitations. If we don’t see Crooks go to jail then Crooks have no reason not to continue doing the same garbage.

Can’t speak for anyone else but my dislike for Pam Bondi has nothing to do with her being a woman.

Bondi was the Attorney General of Florida during the Zimmerman case. To make a long story short, the lead detective, Chris Serino, the police chief, Bill Lee and the prosecutor, Norm Wolfinger, all agreed that there was no evidence to bring a case against Zimmerman. All the evidence, including eyewitnesses, pointed to self defense. That should have been the end. But it wasn’t.

The family hired Benjamin Crump. Anybody that knows that name, knows that Crump is a scumbag. Ben Crump was a friend of Pam Bondi, and she was very instrumental in getting Serino, Lee and Wolfinger removed from the case. As AG she replaced them with state investigators and a new prosecutor, Angela Corey, who just also happened to have been Bondi’s campaign manager.

      There’s more, much more.

Zimmerman should have never been charged and tried, and he wouldn’t have, were it not for Bondi.

That is just one of the reasons I don’t like her and don’t trust her.

Other people may have their own opinions….

        Thanks for your comments.

I knew Bondi was behind the push to prosecute Zimmerman but did not know the Crump and Corey connections.

She is morally bankrupt, same as Noem.

That, at least, has some substance to it. I’m surprised more people don’t bring that up nor her work as a lobbyist for Qatar before being named AG by Trump. DC hates her because she is not only a Republican but isn’t an Ivy League Lawyer so isn’t in the club.

Really? Must not be a gunnie, then.

Trump/Bondi’s “most 2A-friendly DOJ ever” has been cleaving to the same heading set by Obidenbama, even as far as continuing the prosecution of their leftover paperwork “crimes”… all the while blowing smoke up the **ses of gun owners.

Once again, L. Neil Smith’s “Vulcan mind-meld” correctly predicts the suitability and future behavior of a politician. The record was there for anybody to see, and she never deviated from that groove the whole year she was in power.

I was first introduced to LI with the Zimmerman trial. A trial pushed and pursued by Bondi. Talk about a “red flag” warning! Should NEVER have put her in the DOJ…. so much time wasted… but better now than never.

Her refusing to allow Martin’s attorney Crump to be questioned by the defense when it was clear that sleazebag concocted that last phone call Martin had and that the person he produced was a fraud is inexplicable. Her not then going after Crump when it became apparent to everyone he suborned perjury and created fake testimony from a fake witness is not something I will forget. Zimmerman should never have been charged. People might forget that the Zimmerman acquittal is where BLM got started.

An apt play on words, given how far into the Florida “red flag” movement Bondi was.

Personally, I’m still thrilled that Matt Gaetz had not been Attorney General.

As for Bondi, from my perspective, she was fine in the role. Then again, I couldn’t care any less about the Epstein matter.

Nothing against Zeldin, but I kinda wonder if we would be better off if he were to run for New York State governor again. I’m not so sure Bruce Blakeman is gaining much traction in that race.

In some ways, you are correct. However, Trump would probably be able to find another person suitable for the Attorney General role. The last election for the governorship of New York, Zeldin came REASONABLY close to winning (for a Republican, at least). He might still have some of that momentum, and with the frustration over Hochul and her very obvious pandering policies of late, he might stand an even better chance this time around.

Blakeman has had very little impact to this point in the campaign. Even Republicans struggle to remember his name.

We are at an important crossroad in the history of our Republic and there are maybe a handful of men that have the aptitude and fortitude to do what needs to be done in order to right the ship of state.

We need someone as AG that will make criminal’s blood run cold at the mere mention of his name.

We need someone who when asked if he would prosecute people like Barack Obama and Joe Biden will immediately answer “ Yes, starting on day one, and vigorously.”

Pam Bondi was not that person, exceedingly few of us are.

I agree she was a light weight

I like Tulsii and would be disappointed if she left

I’m not sure why she didn’t diss Kent, which pissed Trump off but apparently it may cost her job.

For a long time, this website had Ron Coleman as their attorney, his cartoon pic was on the side.. and he worked for Dhillon Law.. Things change.. I get it.

There are a bunch of people pushing for Harmeet Dhillon to be AG.

JUST FOR FUN . . .

I want to see Trump give a speech about this, indicating that he has reached out to J.K. Rowling about appointing Bondi as the next Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.

Well, with $4.20 gas as a result of operation Epic Fiasco, Democrats will own the House, the Senate, and the Presidency 2028-2039. Trump has a few more weeks to turn it around.

Bondi as AG was very bad on 2A. Midterms coming up soon and 2A folks generally show up to vote. Continuing to shaft them on campaign assurances about 2A issues may cause them to stay home. Sooner or later when politicians believe certain categories of voters don’t have a choice usually expressed as ‘where they gonna go’ the voter gotta remind the political class not to take their support and votes for granted.

31 Out of 93 US Attorneys approved and now no AG. Don’t expect anything to change. Virtually no one on the left is at risk.

It nothing to do with her gender, she was simply a lightweight, accomplished very little.
