We witnessed a live murder on TV when Greg Gutfeld destroyed Jessica Tarlov after she tried to brush aside the amazing findings DNI Tulsi Gabbard has released regarding the fabrication of Russian collusion in the 2016 election.

TARLOV: …suddenly they won’t be mad at Trump anymore for not releasing the Epstein files or whatever he had to do with any of it. It’s preposterous that we were talking about Hillary Clinton’s emails again in 2025.
GUTFELD: We have no choice. We spent years on this story.
TARLOV: We had no choice?
GUTFELD: No, let me finish. We had to take this story seriously for years, and it was false.
TARLOV: It wasn’t false.
GUTFELD: No, no, for people to understand what happened, all right, because the problem with this story is that nobody knows what you’re talking about.
When Trump won in 2016 the intel community concluded that Russia didn’t have a hand in his victory. Instead of accepting the conclusion, Obama determined and wanted a new conclusion, so he sent Brennan running to come up with a new collusion, that there was some kind of trivial involvement that then they could feed out to the media, and coincidentally, dozens of news organizations said that Trump was in bed with Putin and that somehow Brennan knew Brennan knew. How did he know? There was no proof. There was no nothing. There was no proof.
TARLOV: Why did Brennan do nothing?
GUTFELD: No, let me finish. They amplified a false conclusion that Trump colluded with Russia in 2016 we had to spend years dealing with that, and now we’re actually getting investigation, and you’re saying, “No, you know what, you guys should just move on. You guys should just move on.” You say the same effing thing about Biden’s brain. You guys spent four years telling us that Joe Biden was fine. You covered up for an invalid. And then when we get the truth, it’s like, “Oh, you know what? It’s time. We got to look forward. We got to start talking about what’s there.”
And you can bring up Epstein all you want. We, unlike Democrats, we can handle two things, three things, four things at once.
TARLOV: It doesn’t seem like it.
GUTFELD: No, have you been listening to the right lately? The right is more on top of Epstein than the Democrats are. The Democrats never cared about Epstein until they saw political motivation. The right was into the Epstein story because women were being sex traffic. We actually cared, but now you’re like “Oooo….Epstein a political angle. This is fantastic.”

Well, Jessica Tarlov is an idiot, so she’s got that going for her, which is nice.
Tarlov is infuriating but it’s because she’s good at finding defeating talking points. All even Gutfeld can do against her is feign angry impatience. The attitude is the defeating move, not any argument.
Whenever the right says somebody destroyed somebody they’re describing something that didn’t happen, is a good rule.
The only defeats going on are good-natured, and come from Trump. They’re called zingers.

She relentless humps communist officeholders like Jon Ossoff of Georgia and Barack Obama and even Joe Biden and ceaselessly gaslights the Fox Audience with her lies about Trump’s ‘failures’ and his ‘plummeting poll numbers.’
I tried, for a very long time, to actually like her while disagreeing with her but that became impossible once The Donald was inaugurated for the second; the exact moment when she cranked up the pressure on her gaslighting. The moment she decides that she can no longer tolerate being humiliated by Greg Gutfeld and quits cannot come soon enough for me.
I do like the idea that Fox chooses to have dissenting voices on this show; The Five. But dissent grounded in logic and fact are a far cry from the outright lies and gaslighting practiced by Tarlov and, to a somewhat lesser degree, Harold Ford. But the one I truly cannot tolerate is Leslie Marshall. I think that it is possible that Tarlov KNOWS she is lying but Marshall actually believes the crap she so regularly spouts.
Those are very good observations about the rotating d/prog/lefty seat on the Five.
Somehow I just don’t see a Pulitzer prize coming from reporting this. It doesn’t affirm the narrative to committee wishes to promote.
And that’s why we can’t have nice Pulitzer Prizes.
We’ve accepted that, and consider the tradeoff between those shiny badges and real=life victories worth it.
The Pulitzer Progressive Participation Prize…it’s a dated dinosaur of an award now.
We have just over a year to get the agenda codified can we stop wasting ti.e on this red herring until after the midterms.

You have just seen the competing attacks from each side for the midterms.
The Democrats will push Trump=Epstein because that’s all they’ve got. They can’t argue the economy or crime, or transsexual rights or immigration. They’ve tried all of those and nothing seems to work. Ukraine and Gaza seem exhausted as subjects.
The Republicans, are worried that the Emo’s (who seem to be are large percentage of the Democratic base) will need some scandal that is so large and loud it drowns out the Epstein blather.
Epstein is the briar patch. Please don’t throw Trump in.
Ratcliffe has been sniping at Gabbard for months. Now we know why. The Deep State wanted her out and replaced with someone “safe.” When Ratcliffe was unsuccessful at prying Gabbard out of the DNI position, the current Epstein kerfuffle was stirred up in hopes of distracting from what was suspected to be coming from the DNI. Only it’s not working out the way it was supposed to work. MAGA is both demanding heads regarding the DNI’s revelations and they want complete transparency regarding Epstein. MAGA isn’t afraid that Trump is involved in the latter situation, because if such information existed it would have been used against him years ago.

Yeah. Most of us on the center/right calling for transparency and releasing all the Epstein/Maxwell info tend to view it as
1. It was a promised action in campaign and by AG Bondi
2. Won’t hurt Trump b/c if there was a bombshell it would already have been leaked. At most there’s evidence he met them at social events ..along with many others. Embarrassing now in hindsight? Sure but not criminal.
3. We are tired of powerful/prominent skating without consequences. Compare these guys with J6 protester.
4. Will differentiate between those who committed or may have committed crimes and those who simply bumped into Epstein at a party/event and that’s the only link
5. Fills the current info void and mitigates if not eliminates rumors, innuendo, theories. Not releasing maintains the void allowing folks to fill it with wild conjecture and gives d/prog and media a club to hit MAGA with. Plus it seems to be causing Trump to wig out when he told those of us seeking transparency he doesn’t want our support.
Every time a leftist opens their mouth and wants to play the “but what about” or the “we need to move on” game, they need to be ground into dust.
