I am not relating this to be controversial, but…
the beautiful picture of Ms. Finney affirms something I’ve been saying for many years.
Whatever may be true of the past, being Black in America today is a positive advantage.
If that were NOT true, why would people elect to be identified as Black? Why isn’t she an Irish American?
She thinks kissing the Blarney Stone is a sexual act and some other dumbass white woman already claimed she was Cherokee.
Looks like some brushing to lighten skin tones in the photo when compared to Google Images. She certainly goes up and down in weight and sometime back she had to have had some work done on the nose.

You can still see that in New Orleans. It is quite a revelation.
The point being, if I were sitting across from her at lunch…and she was not a doctrinaire Collectivist…I would not know her “race”, nor would I care.
I heard her mention today she had a black parent – mother or father I can’t recall- but she related how a white grandparent who frequently commented that marriage between races was against nature. It’s too bad she has such racists in her family. That doesn’t mean she gets to ascribe their bigoted opinions to everyone else she disagrees with however.
To be honest I would never have guessed she was mixed race. Leave it MSNBC to make her race a number one issue in her hiring however.

If I would have had to guess simply by seeing the picture embedded above, I would have pegged her as Persian, not African-American. Some of that might be the work that she had done to her nose, though.
Maybe she can hook up with goldy and they can combine their collective brain cell to figure out what a .223 caliber rifle is.

Obviously they used the wrong photo. Or is an “African-American” in the sense that she’s from South Africa?
Perhaps she has an Arab heritage. The Arabs occupy a large swath of Northern Africa. That may be why the Left fondly refers to Blacks as “African”. It expands their choices without revealing their prejudice.
I’m tempted to ask: who?
Ace at AoS has already used the phrase, “almost as white as the prime-time lineup at MSNBC”. That picture of Ms. Finney won’t cause Ace to retire his phrase. I’m certainly not going to question her self-identity, but there are days when I’m tanner than she is.
Demonstrating an aptitude to exploit differentials and gradients is a rite of passage for her kind. She exhibited a lack of integrity and was hired to further the cause.

Not only does it show her stance on a few things related to “Choice” (except the choice of the newly conceived to live, that is), but that she is HAPPY about it as well.
Also, let us not forget COMCAST owns MS-NBC now, so let’s not forget that the COMCAST board and HR department probably had at least a modicum of input for new hires.

I’m curious about when cracker became a perjoritive. I’ve read some history of south Florida and the perjoritive use of cracker seems to have come because they were too independent and wanted to be left alone. Well, then, call me a cracker.
Actually, Finney and Warren are unknowingly bringing about an end to racism. See, racism is based on how people look, so if white is black, black is white, white is red, red is yellow, etc., etc., the whole shebang falls apart.

What I was going to say is that Al Sharpton spent YEARS making objectionable, anti-Semetic, or repugnant comments. I don’t know much about Finney other than that one comment, but I doubt she is even close to comparing to Sharpton’s lifetime of repulsiveness.
