DOJ: Use ‘Incident’ and ‘Apparent’ to Describe Trump Assassination Attempt

Oh, so now Merrick Garland is careful with his language. You know, not when targeting concerned parents, pro-life protesters, or Catholics.

Oh, so now Attorney General Merrick Garland carefully chooses his words.

Garland describes the situation at former President Donald Trump’s golf course as an “apparent” assassination attempt and an “incident.”

Reports indicate that Ryan Routh did not shoot at Trump. The secret service agent fired at Routh, stopping anything from happening.

Thank goodness.

Authorities charged Routh with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

They can always add charges later.

Why now be careful with language? That’s a rhetorical question.

As an English major and a law student, I appreciate it when people, especially lawyers, use precise language.

But NOW? How about we remain consistent?

Some people did something

Attorney General Merrick Garland carefully chooses his words- there are so few ways of saying disappointment: let down, bummer.

He wouldn’t want to be partisan and act like something important happened.

He is so disgusting he makes
Me want to up chuck

Garland’s quivering voice reminds me of Anita Hill during the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearings.

You missed again a hole

Garland fits perfectly the description in the following C.S. Lewis quote:

“I live in the Managerial Age, in a world of “Admin.” The greatest evil is not now done in those sordid “dens of crime” that Dickens loved to paint. It is not done even in concentration camps and labour camps. In those we see its final result. But it is conceived and ordered (moved, seconded, carried, and minuted) in clean, carpeted, warmed and well-lighted offices, by quiet men with white collars and cut fingernails and smooth-shaven cheeks who do not need to raise their voices. Hence, naturally enough, my symbol for Hell is something like the bureaucracy of a police state or the office of a thoroughly nasty business concern.”

If it weren’t for his other statements that show some bias, I would shrug over this one. It was “apparent” since he didn’t pull the trigger.*

But, yeah, he is often not careful with his words, and being careful now indicates… something.

(* Do we know if the rifle had a round in the chamber? This guy might not be the brightest and best with firearms.)

It will be interesting if his lawyer tries to have the assassination attempt charge, whatever the legalese is for it, dismissed on the grounds that the rifle was not loaded, no rounds were fired and Trump wasn’t even within sight. Is it still an attempt? If his lawyer claims he is a nutjob and was pretending as there wasn’t even ammo on sight then what?
So far I see Federal charges for a felon with a firearm and removing the serial number.

Apparently, the Sun rose in the east this morning. Film at eleven…

Well, even the Media could not cover it up if he said “our second try”.

Dear dear Merrick Garland: Bless your heart. From me and my coworkers to you and all of your coworkers, at DOJ—We sincerely hope that you are all taking good care of your health, following all CDC recommendations — your family and friends as well.

Vile Garland is nervous and embarrassed delivering these remarks, as well he should be. He knows he looks like a hypocritical fool.

The reprobate knows damn well that DOJ’s Stalinist persecutions of President Trump and attendant vilification rhetoric have contributed to the climate of hate that enabled two assassination attempts in two months, against him.

Yet used words like terrorist to discrbe anyone not supporting his filthy party.

BREAKING
doj is now indicting President Trump for refusing to get shot by their assassins.

While Garland has done and will continue to act and speak in awful and despicable ways, it is only during his term of office – and the after effects of those deeds and words. The USA was saved because he did not become a Justice of its Supreme Court!

In the real world, don’t people have a way of warning other people about what’ll happen to them and their loved ones if youall f””k with our guy again.

Maybe I’ve seen too many gangster films, but wouldn’t Trump know enough people with enough skills that nobody would want to harm Trump. Out of self-interest.

Sorta like the horsehead in that guy’s bed in THE GODFATHER, as one example variation on a theme.

Etc.
