Why is Tim Walz Obsessed With JD Vance Going to Yale?

Why is Tim Walz Obsessed With JD Vance Going to Yale?

I think he’s jealous.

It seems like Tim Walz attacks JD Vance over his Yale law degree in every speech.

It’s WEIRD and CREEPY. (See what I did there?)

Last night at the DNC:

WALZ: “And I grew up in Butte, Nebraska and a town oh 400 people and I had 24 kids in my high school class. None of them went to Yale. But I tell you what, growing up in a small town like that, you learn how to take care of each other and that family down the road, they may not think like you do and they may not pray like you do. They may not love like you do.”

If you’re going to knock Vance for a college, then attack him for going to Ohio State. (I can say that as a Michigan fan! GO BLUE!)

Vance grew up poor. He worked his butt off to get into college and an Ivy League law school.

Isn’t that what we want for kids, especially those who grow up poor and in a difficult life? Vance should be an example that yes, you can do it no matter what obstacles you face in life.

I think Walz is jealous.

Here are a few other times Walz went after Vance for going to Yale.

A guy from my small town went to West Point and was SECDEF. Is that also not who “we” are?

Dude from my high school was an astronaut and another became Governor. Town of 4,000. That is who America is and is why our country is different from anywhere else on Earth

Maybe Tim’s wife needed assistance in getting pregnant because his swimmers were too weak to get the job done.
You go low, I’ll go lower

Vance should ask him, “Do you wanna waltz?”

Reminds me of an old bit the late Dick Whittinghill did on his morning drive program. It started with the sound of a Strauss waltz, then, “It’s Waltz time, on KMPC!”

    (music fades down)

“Hey! Walt! What time is it?!?”

    “It’s 8:10am, Dick…”

(music fades up, then back down again)

“This has been Waltz Time, on KMPC!”

It strikes me as another pathetic attempt to “prove” that he’s a “good ol’ boy”. This is ridiculous given how much the Democrat Party hates good ol’ boys.

Didn’t Bill Clinton – the guy who spoke before Walz – also go to Yale law school? Didn’t Amy Klobuchar, the idiot who INTRODUCED Walz, get her undergraduate degree from – wait for it – YALE.

I would be curious how many of the speakers this week have degrees from Yale. I bet it’s a fair many.

The reason is to counterattack at Trump’s advantage with rural voters.

Campaigning 101.

Yep. Hamilton, OH may not technically be rural, but the people certainly are.

And rural people don’t hate someone for going to Yale. They hate them for thinking they’re better than anyone else for going to Yale.

That’s a good point. People don’t hate others that go to an expensive Ivy League University. It’s the ones the look down on everyone who don’t that people despise

Yes, indeed. My grandmother, from a small town in Oklahoma, told me that her Harvard-educated physician thought that Harvard graduates were God’s gift to the world.

Bro, I never laughed so loud as when Kerry dressed up in Abercrombie and Fitch went into a store and asked for a license to hunt goose. Guy behind the counter looked stunned.

Only Dhimmi-crat apparatchiks are allowed to be proud of attending an Ivy League university, apparently.

Vile Walz tries too hard to show off how allegedly “normal” he is, in pathologically narcissistic fashion. The dope is such a transparently phony, inauthentic and obnoxious poser and clown.

A truly authentic man who is secure in his beliefs and in his own skin doesn’t feel the need to constantly prattle on about how allegedly down-to-earth, “folksy” and relatable he and his kin are.

Just one old bear’s opinion, but… I respect what Vance accomplished, busting his butt to GET to a school like Yale and I take nothing away from that.

But, I’d love to see our houses of Congress populated with bust-their-butts people who went to night school while ACTUALLY driving a truck or waiting tables or other real, dirt-under-the-fingernails jobs.

To your point expressed in your last sentence, Grizz, one salient fact/reality that President Trump mentioned once, I believe, but, that needs to be persistently and forcefully underscored by Trump-Vance and their surrogates/allies, is Harris-Walz’s total paucity of private sector experience and accomplishment, as either a worker, manager or proprietor.

I believe that crone-harlot, Harris’s, scant private sector experience consists of a summer job working at McDonald’s. Walz has no private sector experience, as far I can tell.

The media and the Dhimmi-crats claim that this wretched ticket allegedly represents the interests of the middle class, and, that Harris comes from the middle class, but, to my mind, a ticket consisting of two career government apparatchiks who’ve never done an honest day’s work in the private sector, represents the quintessence of elitist privilege, arrogance and detachment.

How can a ticket relate to the middle class, if its constituents have never worked there? This point cannot be publicized, enough, in advertising and in speeches.

Walz did not have the Army’s core values’:

Loyalty – to himself
Duty – he ran from it
Respect – he deserves none
Selfless service – more like Selfish service
Honor – Stolen Honor
Integrity – he had none
Personal Courage – totally lacking

Man you guys hate Waltz. He must scare you. Over at one of the more MAGA sites, commentators are actually mocking his son’s reactions. At least you guys and gals haven’t sunk that low…..yet.

Walz reminds me of my governor. She’s a totalitarian POS who tries to sound “folksy” and relatable. She was also interviewed for the VP job but didn’t get it because she’s a Hispanic female. Had she been non-binary or trans, she would have been a shoe in. She doesn’t scare me.

That has to be one of the most retarded comments I have seen on this platform.

    Afraid of Walz? Please

He’s a pussy who dodged being deployed as a soldier with the National Guard. He’s a maggot who left his troops on the battlefield, then had the audacity to claim their valor, and inflated his rank.

Your comment says more about you than it says about him. Please. unhinge your mouth from his scrotum before you choke.

First of all, dingus, it’s spelled “Walz.”
Second, how about a linkie so we can go to this so-called “MAGA site” to see said mocking.
Third, no one here is scared of Walz.
What we are is concerned that a couple of Socialists will lie, cheat and steal their way into the White House and complete Obama’s wrecking of the country.
Get the hell out of here.

What’s to like about NoBalz AWalz? He lied about his rank, he ran away when his unit was to be deployed (and lied about not being told about it), dropped out of CSM school (which is an honor in and of itself to be invited), and then the whole CHINA thing. So if you want the Manchurian Candidate Stolen Valor Jelly Spined Governor—move to Minnesota. Maybe it’s not really a Jelly Spine, maybe it’s lutefisk.

If Tim Walz is going to attack JD Vance for going to Yale Law (after Ohio State), he should also attack Barack Obama for going to Columbia and Harvard Law, Hillary Clinton for going to Wellesley and Yale Law, and Bill Clinton for going to Yale Law. Not to mention all those Kennedys who went to Haavaad.

One possible conclusion is that Tim Walz isn’t very bright to attack a Republican for being an Ivy League graduate, given that so many Democrat politicians are also Ivy League graduates.

Weird Walz trying to find an attack point, something to use as a him versus us division. Naturally it relies on double standards.

Usually it’s the Right that attack Yale etc Leftist elitists, but hard scrabble battlers who make it into Yale are not the target.

Clearly Weird Walz hates those who fulfil the America ideal – those who come from nothing but succeed with The Party’s help.

The only reason Walz is noticed is because he hitched his wagon to a skirt who gave blow jobs to get ahead.

He has failed at every opportunity to prove he is worthy to lead. He can’t stand on his own merits.

Harris had to pick somebody who was not going to upstage her on the trail.
Shapiro would have come across as much more intelligent than her. If she loses it will also be easier to blame the old white guy for the loss.
