Columbia Anti-Israel Coalition Declares It’s ‘Fighting for the Total Eradication of Western Civilization’
Analysis: “It has never been about Israel, it has always been about destroying the freedoms and liberties of the West.”
A group called ‘CUA Apartheid Divest’ at Columbia University, which seems to be a coalition of different groups, has announced that they are seeking the “total eradication of Western Civilization.”
Perhaps we should take them at their word.
As Professor Jacobson and others have pointed out, the anti-Israel protests on college campuses last year were every bit as much anti-American, and they are dangerous.

CUAD (Columbia University Apartheid and Divest), an anti-Zionist group, released a statement supporting Bangladesh and the fall of Western Civilization!
It struck me how much it resembled the 1969 Weatherman statement—the same revolutionary language with no practical plans.🤷♂️

Columbia group wants ‘eradication of Western civilization’
A pro-Palestinian group at Columbia University wants to see the “eradication of Western civilization.”
CUA Apartheid Divest made the statement yesterday on its Instagram page. The group said it backs student protesters in Bangladesh who recently toppled the sitting prime minister via violent protests.
The ouster of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina “ends 15 years in power that has been marked by a stifling of civil freedoms and the heavy-handed use of security forces to crush dissent, critics and rights groups say,” CNN reported.
“Sheikh Hasina has been ousted by the people, but the revolution is not over! Long live the global intifada!” the group wrote on Instagram, along with the campus Bangladeshi student group.
An accompanying graphic also stated: “We stand in full solidarity with every movement for liberation in the Global South. Our Intifada is an internationalist one – we are fighting for nothing less than the liberation of all people.”
The graphic also stated that the group “seek[s] community and instruction from militants in the Global South,” as the “fascism ingrained in American consciousness becomes ever more explicit and irrefutable.”
This is apparently the same group that took over Hamilton Hall at Columbia in the spring.
These groups are definitely anti-Israel, but that is just one aspect of their character. They are exploiting the conflict in Israel for visibility, but their goals are much more expansive. They are anti-American, anti-capitalist, radicals and their ranks are growing.
At some point, this is going to become a problem that is too big for colleges and universities to handle on their own.

Truly honest Democrats would be calling themselves “communists”, not “Democrats.”
What would it take to break their resolve? My guess- being sent to bed early one night with no dinner or television.
And take away their smartphones.
Stick them out in a field harvesting strawberries or beets. Or, serving as hospital orderlies as community service.
Not any hospital that hopes to stay in business.

They sure do. When I was a beat cop, I had to taze a guy who, after it was all over, couldn’t stop thanking me for helping him to “clear his head”. I still chuckle a bit over that.
Oh and as far as pressure hoses are concerned, back in the day my German wife was protesting the deployment of Pershing missiles into Germany. The cops turned the hose on the guy next to her and hit her also. She spent a couple of days in the hospital and her entire abdomen was one huge bruise.
Unfortunately the Weathermen of 1969 have succeeded far more than I ever imagined in their long march, they now are emeritus professors who have populated our society with believers who have replaced the scoffers. I laughed at their remnant in the ‘70’s, I guess they are laughing at me now, for the moment anyway.
In heaven the Lord laughs at those who think they will succeed in overthrowing Him, but it is and will be a rough ride for the moment for us on earth.
That is not to say Western Civilization =God’s Kingdom, not at all, but they are not interested in making things more like God’s Kingdom, but rather stomping out any vestige of its influences.

But western civilization is still corrupt and far from the ideal.
The clue was when it was made known that Obama was Bill Ayers neighbor in Chicago. Ayers, the founder of the Weathermen, came from wealthy Chicago family that was able to protect him. But his wife served prison time. Not that anyone remembered any of this in 2008. No one questioned how a guy who had been a “community organizer” ended up as the neighbor of the founder of the Weathermen in a very posh area. Obama may have organized poor communities, but he certainly never lived in one!!!
I don’t know all of the history, Glenn Beck was all over this before the election. The press knew who Obama was if they cared to say it.
My understanding is he (Ayers) was found guilty but some misconduct in evidence gathering or other got it all thrown out.
Whether he had a better lawyer or the same mistake wasn’t made for her, idk.
He bragged, “Guilty as sin, free as a bird! Isn’t it a wonderful country!” At least that is what I understand.
So as a demonstration of their seriousness they gonna dis enroll from the Univ then depart the USA and refuse to enter any Western(ized) aka 1st world Nation? Show me you ate willing to practice what you preach long term then we can talk…assuming you survive the next couple decades demonstrating the sincerity of your beliefs.

Both are fascist in structure, with all non-state owned business being controlled by the state, with an emphasis on group over individual, and state over group.
International socialism uses Islam as a destabilizing agent, as a means to weaken a nation enough so that a revolution takes place.
These revolutions usually put a religion based dictator in place–because Muslims are more fervent in their belief than leftists. Eventually the Muslims persecute the leftists.
The West is fighting for individual self determination. There is no ‘utter and complete’ issue that unifies them. Because of this, they flounder in the face of ideas that they are perfectly willing to accept –if not taken to extremes. The West does not care if some people want to live in an Islamic or socialist enclave –so long as those enclaves don’t try to keep others from living as THEY choose and they find it very hard to grasp that others don’t accept this premise that let’s everyone have their way.
And so the West does not fight until there is absolutely no other choice. And even when they do, they rarely unify.
But when they DO fight, they fight viciously and decisively.
This is the war that stretches in front of us.
I think they should pick up arms and get started so we can end this nonsense ASAP.
They would have to have the guts to leave progressive New York City, where they will be protected by sympathizers. I think we can assume they will never show up in Texas or Florida.
Columbia fostered a serpent at its breast. Having hired so many leftists and their sympathizers, Columbia showed nothing but sympathy to the pro-Palestinians who (gasp) turned out to be a front for wild-eyed anarchists claiming allegiance to the progressive left.
