Biden Administration Appears To Be Having “Going Out of Business” Climate Project Giveaway

Admittedly, the funding could also be an effort to gin up enthusiasm among Democrats.

One intriguing sign is that eco-activists in Washington, DC.. anticipate a different political climate after the November election.

Team Biden is flooding climate projects with billions from the nation’s coffers.

The Environmental Protection Agency announced $4.3 billion in funding on Monday for 25 new projects proposed by states, tribes, local governments and territories to tackle climate change. The funding could reduce greenhouse gas emissions by as much as 971 million metric tons by 2050, or roughly the emissions of five million homes over 25 years, according to the agency.

Among the jurisdictions that will get funding, Nebraska will receive $307 million to reduce agricultural waste and enhance energy efficiency in homes and buildings. Pennsylvania will get $396 million to reduce industrial pollution and create about 6,000 jobs.

Admittedly, it could also be an effort to gin up enthusiasm among a base that appears less than excited about Democratic presidential candidate manipulations.

The funding reflects how the Biden administration is rushing to distribute climate money before the November election. This month, the Energy Department unveiled $1.7 billion for retooling 11 auto factories to make electric vehicles and their components.

…The 25 projects — from states, a tribe, local governments and coalitions — were chosen from more than 300 applications for almost $33 billion in funding. The selections were based off the potential reduction of emissions, the ability to track these reductions and the diversity of industries represented.

Among the selected projects is a Pennsylvania grant program for decarbonization programs across the state, measures in Nebraska to reduce agricultural emissions and waste, and an effort to build electric vehicle chargers for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles along a highway in the Northeast.

The grants also include $500 million for the air management district in Southern California, which will be used to help decarbonize the region’s transportation and freight sectors, including at busy ports in Long Beach and Los Angeles, Sen. Alex Padilla (D-Calif.) announced Monday.

Over the last three years, there have been so many failures with green energy that it is hard to know where to begin.

For example, the massive wind farm failure is ruining East Coast beaches.

The expensive electric school bus program is losing participants.

And let’s not forget that the EV market appears to be running out of gas—even among popular and iconic brands.

Tesla’s second-quarter net income fell 45% compared with a year ago as the company’s global electric vehicle sales tumbled despite price cuts and low-interest financing.

The Austin, Texas, company said Tuesday that it made $1.48 billion from April through June, less than the $2.7 billion it made in the same period of 2023. It was Tesla’s second-straight quarterly net income decline.

I can only hope that real science will be prioritized after November over the pseudoscience and social justice that have been driving policymaking over the past few years.

Anyone who doesn’t acknowledge or deduce the salient reality that the vile Dhimmi-crats’ myriad profligate, unfeasible and destructive “green” energy diktats and schemes are nothing more than a huge theft/grift/hustle/con designed to fleece taxpayers and enrich the Dhimmi-crats’ well-connected cronies and courtiers, isn’t paying attention.

The stats are instructive. $7.5 billion allocated for EV charging stations, with a farcical eight of them constructed, to-date; courtesy of sanctimonious and insufferable clown, Buttigieg. $1,9 billion (out of a total $5 billion, 5-year allocation) spent on electric schoolbuses (courtesy of crone-harlot, Harris), with 60 delivered. And, too many other, similar examples to recount.

We need to take away the ability of any government figure to spend money.

They were never about the planet. It was all about the money.

Hopefully those who got the money will be required to pay it back.

“…gin up enthusiasm among a base…”

Is that a new euphemism for buying votes?

They’re trying to win the election the old-fashioned way – by buying it.

Add another thing for Trump to do on Day One: Freeze all awards and grants made within the last 90 days until an Executive review can be done on them.

Too many GOP governors will adamantly refuse to give up “green jobs” too
