‘Are You Kidding Me’: Hawley Fumes Over No One Being Fired Over Trump Assassination Attempt

“Why don’t you relieve everybody of duty who made bad judgment?”

I’ll update with the transcript when I find it.

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) blasted Acting USSS Director Ronald Rowe for not firing anyone and then whining about agents being persecuted and him losing sleep.

Will anybody get fired? Are you kidding? Their jobs are more secure than the gold in Ft Knox.

The gold present in Fort Knox has not been audited since 1986. And the audit reports from 1974 through 1986 are incomplete, and/or missing and are not available via FOIA requests. The may be no actual gold remaining in Fort Knox.

And IF they got fired, then they’d just file a lawsuit under a Democrat DoJ and collect a couple million in ‘settlement’ (bribe) money, just like Strzok and Page.

lefty:
ok it is election season

2 janitors with top secret clearance were let go today and reassigned to the harris vote counting team

News item from today’s news: “62% of voters fear cheating.”

The other 38% are encouraged by it since it is necessary for their side to win.

How is relieving from duty the decision makers whose bad decisions contributed to the failure to adequately secure their Principle a ‘rush to judgement’? Relieve them and hold the investigation, then when complete return to duty those cleared (if any) and fire those whose judgement is shown to be imprudent.

Bureaucrats can’t flipping stand it when accountability comes knocking. If these Executive branch goons keep stonewalling then cut their damn budget… better yet cut the top line # by 1% across the board every time the witnesses refuse to answer questions, fail to meet requests or otherwise impede Congressional oversight. Some deputy assistant undersecretary of X agency shows up to hearing and refuses to answer questions …no problem …subtract 1% from the top line federal budget authorization number. Don’t PO the branch of govt that holds the purse strings needs to return to being a ‘thing’.

I don’t know why anyone finds this remotely surprising. Nobody ever loses their job at that level, at the worst they might get shifted to a different position in a different building somewhere.

No official, elected or appointed, in a Leftist polity is ever held to the consequences of their actions. Only the proles are subject to consequences and are held responsible.

The vile Dhimmi-crats/Deep State protect their own. Notions of accountability, or, punishment, being imposed upon these reprobates are farcical. See Strzok, McCabe, Clinesmith and too many other apparatchiks to name.

Nothing new under the Sun.
