Tufts University ‘Students for Justice in Palestine’ Slammed for Praising ‘Creativity’ of Hamas for Using Paragliders in Attack on Israel

The ‘Students for Justice in Palestine’ chapter at Tufts University in Boston is being criticized for praising the ‘creativity’ of Hamas for using paragliders to invade Israel in their attacks.
This is nothing new at Tufts. We have covered the anti-Semitic behavior of the Tufts SJP chapter many times over the years.

A student group at Tufts University is facing backlash after a statement in which they praised the ‘creativity’ of Hamas terrorists who used paragliders to launch an attack in Israel that left over 1,000 dead, including 22 Americans.
Tufts’ Students for Justice in Palestine group called the terrorists ‘liberation fighters paragliding into occupied territory,’ adding that they had ‘especially shown the creativity necessary to take back stolen land.’
The message added: ‘It has not been without cost, as hundreds of Palestinians have been martyred in the past days, fighting to liberate themselves and their land.’…
The group’s statement was first shared on Tuesday by the Anti-Defamation League New England chapter, who called it ‘obscene.’
The University denounced the organization’s message on Wednesday. No individual member of the group put their name to the inflammatory statement and DailyMail.com has been unable to identify individual members.
‘We condemn the terrorism and atrocities that Hamas has carried out against Israel,’ said spokesman Patrick Collins. ‘We strongly disagree with and denounce SJP’s statement and want to make clear that no student group speaks for the university.’
Much like Harvard, Tufts is distancing itself from this message.

In a message to its e-list on Monday, Tufts Students for Justice in Palestine praised the “creativity” of the Hamas-led surprise attacks on Israeli civilians launched on Oct. 7. Tufts denounced the student group’s message and University President Sunil Kumar called the attacks acts of “pure barbarism.”
SJP expressed solidarity with Palestinians following Hamas’ attack on Israel, during which at least 1,200 were killed. In response to the attack, Israel launched several airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, killing at least 1,100.
The text of SJP’s email, which invited students to attend a Cambridge rally in solidarity with Palestinians, opened with three parachute emojis; on Saturday, fighters involved in the assault used paragliders to cross the Gazan border before attacking civilians.
“Since Friday, Palestinians have been launching a historic attack on the colonizers,” SJP wrote in the email obtained by the Daily. “Footage of liberation fighters from Gaza paragliding into occupied territory has especially shown the creativity necessary to take back stolen land. It has not been without cost, as hundreds of Palestinians have been martyred in the past days, fighting to liberate themselves and their land.”
People are disgusted and for good reasons.

Liberating for Palestinians means no Jews in Israel.
And that’s just for starters. If eventually successful, these college kids will swallow hard when the Islamic finger points at them. The young men will be given their choices. The young women will quickly learn their new ‘position’ in Islam’s order. They will take it lying down most likely.

Praising Hamas for creatvity:
“Creativity isn’t automatically a good thing. As a concept, creativity has no alignment, and in fact, it is just as easy to be creative in a destructive, evil way as it is to be creative in a beautiful and benevolent way.”
Good warriors are creative, and it is up to their opponents to anticipate and counter that creativity. Israel should have been better prepared. It isn’t like Hamas hasn’t used inexpensive flying contraptions before. Surely they must have practiced with the paragliders to train their troops. Did Israeli Intel observe that? If not, why not?

Using cheap aircraft like paragliders was very creative, and it shows the Israelis got way too complacent. Of course, it ain’t over till it’s over, and there is a lot of hard combat ahead. Israel had better not get too cocky here. They could quickly find themselves in a 3 or 4 front war and get overwhelmed.
A warning about becoming too complacent is always fair. The West Bank could blow up, though Fatah seems to be very, very quiet right now. Fatah and Hamas hate each other, so the Fatah leaders may be willing to watch and wait.
Hezbollah could get chippy in the north and they too have thousands of missiles. If Israel’s Iron Dome system breaks again those missiles could become a real problem. But Nazrullah is a fair bit of a coward and I don’t think he’s going to put his fighters into an unwinable situation.
Syria has enough problems, they will do nothing. Egypt will quietly cheer as the Israelis clean out Hamas. The other Sunni-led Arab states will do nothing; they hate the Palestinians.
The real wild card is Iran — can they go nuclear this week?

The silver lining is these idiots are publicising exactly how radical they are and their level of hatred for Western Civilization. These idiots seem surprised that the wider public is calling them out for their extremism and their callous disregard of the lives of Israelis who were massacred, raped and tortured by Hamas to further the leftist stated goal of de-colonization these loons advocate for. Name them and refuse to hire them. Make them pariahs until they renounce these abhorrent beliefs, publicly apologize and demonstrate true repentance over a significant time.
