Ex-CIA Director Stands By Statement That Sen. Tuberville Should be Removed From the ‘Human Race’

Disgusting.

Former CIA and NSA Director Gen. Michael Hayden stood by his statement that Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) should be removed from the human race.

Hayden’s comment comes from one person asking if the Senate should remove Tuberville from his committee due to holding military nominations because of the Pentagon’s abortion policy.

In October 2022, The Pentagon changed its policy after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.

The Pentagon would pay for service members’ travel to get abortions plus help Defense health care providers escape states that have strict abortion laws “in order to support the performance of official duties.”

The Hyde Amendment bans the government from paying for abortions except when the mother’s life is in trouble, rape, or incest. It says nothing about travel.

Tuberville announced his intent two months later: “As a result of your [Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin] office’s ongoing recalcitrance to Congressional oversight, effective this morning, I have placed a hold on all further nominees from the Department of Defense until such time as my staff is briefed to my satisfaction on this matter.”

But Tuberville recently made a valid point: “Y’all got the American taxpayer on the hook to pay for travel and time off for elective abortions.”

I don’t want to pay for anyone’s anything, but abortion is at the top of the list!

Big mouth Hayden should do it himself, then.

So Hayden would fit right in with Hamas? They say that kind of thing too.

    AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to Whitewall. | October 10, 2023 at 7:12 pm

Hamas DOES that kind of thing. Hayden is too much of an effeminate ass licker to actually act on it.

But, that’s a NAZI for you. Like Hillary, “dehumanize” people to make it easier to remove them from the human race.

But like the butt boi Hayden is, he isn’t man enough to do his own dirty work. He needs real men to do it for him.

ThePrimordialOrderedPair | October 10, 2023 at 6:33 pm

Tuberville’s actions are stopping NOTHING. Schumer can pass any military nominations he wants through a floor vote. Schumer chooses not to allow them.

Michael Hayden is a treasonous POS and a waste of semi-human flesh. How such a deranged moron got to be the CIA director is beyond me – and does not reflect well on America, at all.

Your are 1000% correct on that one. Schumer could have shuffled the order of confirmation votes if these confirmations were an actual national security issue or he could have not given the Senate their August vacation and used that time to move the candidates through the process. He knew he had those options and failed to choose either one. Campaigning and fundraising take precedent.
Very few have challenged Schumer on these points, they know that their entire sky is falling argument blows up in their face if they do so.

      4fun in reply to buck61. | October 10, 2023 at 9:37 pm

Schumer is too busy trying to fill courts with partisan boot lickers. None much smarter than a 4 year old.
Sen Kennedy has been making these partisan boot lickers interviews hell on them.

        buck61 in reply to 4fun. | October 11, 2023 at 12:06 am

Kennedy makes most of them look foolish but not to the point where Manchin and Sinema vote against them, and they get confirmed anyway

I think you may misunderstand the point of the CIA. They aren’t good guys.

He had all the qualifications. Still does.

I’m going to guess Hayden meant categorically, not existentially.

    AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to henrybowman. | October 10, 2023 at 7:13 pm

He said what he meant. No more, no less.

CommoChief in reply to henrybowman. | October 10, 2023 at 7:50 pm

I gotta be honest, I’m done parsing statements and that goes equally for the left and the right. When a public figure makes a public statement it is on them to communicate clearly and unambiguously. This BS of X person didn’t literally mean Z when they clearly stated Z is nothing more than syphocants making excuses.

Hayden had the opportunity to apologize and adjust his position. Instead he dug a deeper hole by a mealy mouthed, transparent attempt to weasel his way out of the consequences by pretending he didn’t write what we all read. He made a poor attempt at humor in an attempt to gain internet likes and validation from leftists, it backfired but instead of admitting his error he chooses to insult our intelligence by pretending he wrote something else.

Petrushka in reply to henrybowman. | October 10, 2023 at 8:04 pm

Who will rid me of this meddlesome priest?

    We’ve seen this movie before.

Hayden was an incompetent fool and seeks to hide the fact with meaningless pronouncements.

MattMusson in reply to puhiawa. | October 11, 2023 at 10:57 am

Hayden should have his secret clearances revoked immediately after showing such bad judgement. This would both humiliate him and cost him in the job market. And, it could be done as a purely administrative move and without a hearing.

Subotai Bahadur in reply to MattMusson. | October 11, 2023 at 4:01 pm

Sadly, the Left runs the administration that could do that and does so without benefit of law or consistency.

      Subotai Bahadur

It makes sense for DoD to pay for travel etc. They elect what states they send people to, and if they want an abortion in an unfriendly state, pay for travel to the state of their choice. Just like businesses pay for meals when they send you away from home.

ThePrimordialOrderedPair in reply to rhhardin. | October 10, 2023 at 6:59 pm

Why is there supposedly such a need for abortions among the military, to start with? Unmarried women in service are not supposed to be getting pregnant and should be thrown out of the military in that case. Wives of military personnel should not be seeking tons of abortions. if a wife doesn’t want to get pregnant there are many ways to avoid it – cheaply and easily and available to all. So who are supposed to be getting all of these abortions? Minor daughters?? Well, there would be lots and lots of problems if that is the case.

Maybe it’s the male trannie soldiers who are all looking to get abortions??

CommoChief in reply to rhhardin. | October 10, 2023 at 7:53 pm

If the WH and the DoD really believe that then they should make the case to Congress and it can be.decided by an up/down vote in Congress on this issue as a.stand alone bill authorizing the DoD to make the payments.

Milhouse in reply to rhhardin. | October 10, 2023 at 10:44 pm

Businesses pay for your meals only if they need you to be away from home. If there is a genuine business need for you to be sent to some city, then of course they pay for your air fare, taxis, hotel, meals, and other expenses. But they don’t send you to some city where they have no need for you to be, just because you want to visit some place in that city for your own private reasons. They tell you that’s what vacation time is for, and that you should take some vacation days at a time when you’re not needed, and pay for it yourself. And that is what this is; you want an abortion, so they pay to send you to some state where they have no need for you to be, but you need to be there to get the abortion you want. That violates the Hyde amendment, at least in spirit if not in the letter.

CDR D in reply to Milhouse. | October 11, 2023 at 11:32 am

Military members who want to travel to another state for pregnancy termination purposes can do so by taking leave and on their own dime. The US taxpayer didn’t impregnate them, but under present policy is the one getting screwed. If the member really can’t afford the travel cost (doubtful) there are relief sources such as Navy Mutual Aid and the other services’ analogues for no interest loans or even outright grants that involve no public money.

gonzotx in reply to rhhardin. | October 11, 2023 at 12:06 am

    It’s OUR money

DoD pays nothing. It is our tax dollars. If you want to start an abortion fund, go right ahead. I’ll opt out.

irishgladiator63 | October 10, 2023 at 7:01 pm

Democrats: “Don’t you dare dehumanize the baby murdering rapists in Hamas.”

Also Democrats: “Republicans aren’t human and should be killed because they won’t murder babies.”

Actually there’s a pattern there. They love them some baby killing.

one of the sad things about the world

there are wannabe nazis in every nook and cranny

I await to see if Hayden is arrested and charged. You cannot make exceptions to this law.

You can make exceptions to any law! Just ask Mr. “Fire Alarm” Bowman.

LeftWingLock in reply to walls. | October 10, 2023 at 9:25 pm

Right. I meant to type. This is the type of law where the government should not make exceptions.

Milhouse in reply to LeftWingLock. | October 11, 2023 at 2:05 am

Again, which law would that be? There is no law against this, and there can’t be. Which is a good thing, because it makes America worth having.

Milhouse in reply to LeftWingLock. | October 10, 2023 at 10:48 pm

Huh? Charged with what? Even if he had literally said that Tuberville ought to be murdered, it would be protected speech. Just as it would be if someone were to say the same thing about Biden. The Supreme Court has been very very clear about that,

CommoChief in reply to Milhouse. | October 11, 2023 at 9:00 am

The UCMJ, has a different interpretation. SCOTUS has always allowed this distinction to exist. SCOTUS has also ruled that retired military remain subject to the UCMJ.

At minimum he could be hit with a violation of ART 88, Contempt towards Public Officials and ART 133, Conduct Unbecoming.

Milhouse in reply to CommoChief. | October 11, 2023 at 8:10 pm

I don’t see how that can be squared with the first amendment, at least as to retired military. UCMJ is allowed to restrict active members’ speech because of the need for discipline, but there’s no way to justify it after retirement. It would be struck down on an “as applied” basis.

CommoChief in reply to Milhouse. | October 12, 2023 at 11:18 am

Another reason he could be justifiably cooked here is Hayden chose to have his military rank associated with the statement which is going to be viewed as a sufficient nexus to apply the UCMJ. In general even an AD service member can pen a critical public statement when they refrain from using their rank and make it clear their comments are their own and not those of their service branch or DoD while stopping short of contempt.

This wasn’t an innocuous comment about a simple policy dispute. Gen Hayden proposed revoking a US Senator’s membership in the human race. IOW, he views Tubberville as subhuman which at best that’s contempt, at worst he was calling for Tubberville to be killed. Let a court martial panel hear the evidence and decide if his conduct should be punished.

CommoChief in reply to CommoChief. | October 12, 2023 at 10:23 am

Not according to SCOTUS. They have consistently applied the UCMJ to retiree. One case from a couple years ago about bribery for a retired guy in a contracting scandal. They changed him under UCMJ and SCOTUS upheld the application of the UCMJ.

The problem is it’s an all or none situation with the application of UCMJ. It either is or is not applicable to some classes of retiree it ain’t a buffet line. The DoD has become more aggressive in pushing this as well, for certain things and v certain folks while being lax with others.

Milhouse in reply to CommoChief. | October 12, 2023 at 11:35 pm

There’s nothing in the constitution that would prevent that, so it’s not comparable at all. Here we’re talking about a constitutional right, which can only be restricted if it’s a narrowly tailored measure that is the least restrictive way available to advance a compelling government interest.

And yes, it is a buffet line. That is the whole point of “as applied” challenges. The plaintiff is not saying the law in question is unconstitutional, only that the application is.

Hayden hasn’t been right since he had a stroke.

Hayden sounds like Hamas talking about the Israelis

It’s a disgrace and a troubling sign of the U.S.’s moral rot that partisan fanatics and Dhimmi-crat scum such as Hayden and the similarly execrable John Brennan and James Clapper (among many others) not only are allowed to enter government service, but, are promoted to the highest levels of national intelligence.

These reprobates are partisan zealots and they have no business being anywhere near the levers of political power and national security.

Deep State can’t wait to take over the government

Look at what we entrusted to this man:

retired United States Air Force four-star general
former Director of the National Security Agency,
Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence,
Director of the Central Intelligence Agency.
Professor at the George Mason University.
Co-chairs Electric Grid Cyber Security Initiative.

And now he’s trolling on twitter.

I can’t imagine Leon Panetta, a hardcore, old school democrat politico, and Hayden’s successor at CIA, stooping so low.

(read Panetta’s memoir – he subtly punches down on Obama’s Iraq policy and Biden’s fecklessness – and a few other things – like rendition and waterboarding proving key intelligence.)

Shouldn’t Heyden and Hillary give deprogramming a try first?

What he really means is that pedo joe’s selections want an obsequious batch of officers and enlisted to do their nazi biddings.
Unreal how many whacked out officers have been coming out of the basement outhouses with their lifestyles lately.

Subotai Bahadur | October 10, 2023 at 9:51 pm

Given what is being revealed about the nature of the current government, I hope that Senator Tuberville has a lot of insurance, and that they are ready for a special election in Alabama. Just in case something happens.

Subotai Bahadur

Incidentally, Hayden is one of the ’51 intelligence officials’ that signed the letter saying the Hunter Biden laptop was ‘Russian disinformation’.

What a shock that he’s a scumbag all the way through.

JackinSilverSpring | October 10, 2023 at 11:06 pm

Why hasn’t he been arrested for incitement to murder. I guess Garland has been too busy persecuting President Trump.

Because he hasn’t committed incitement to murder. Even if he had actually said that Tuberville ought to be murdered (which he did not), that would not be incitement, and it would be protected speech. This is not a matter for dispute; it’s black-letter law. The Supreme Court has been very clear on it.

Badger in reply to Milhouse. | October 11, 2023 at 6:13 am

Considering the number of people who were visited by the fbi (lower case intentional) hayden should have been questioned and had photos taken of feds coming and going. This hands-off approach by fbi to those on the left is sickening.

Milhouse in reply to Badger. | October 11, 2023 at 8:59 am

No, the FBI’s failure to persecute people on the left who have committed no crime is not at all sickening. What’s sickening is that they have persecuted people on the left who have also committed no crime. Persecuting everyone is not a solution! It’s not anything we should want, or be calling for! Equal-opportunity crime is not better than selective crime, it’s worse!

JackinSilverSpring in reply to Milhouse. | October 11, 2023 at 8:12 am

If President Trump can be indicted for January 6th, then why is Hayden any different? Protected speech for me but not for thee seems to be order of the day when one is a DemoncRat.

Hayden has always been a jackass. He was appointed director of the CIA by Bush because they knew he’d break the law, surveil US Citizens and then lie to congress when caught. They were so concerned about rooting out terrorists, they put a monster in place who had no compunction about going after innocent people as well. He should have been thrown under the bus when his usefulness was over instead of being elevated as some super credible patriot.

I remember a time when it was not acceptable for our 3 letter agencies to try to overthrow our elected government. Good times

This would be a serious issue if Macwhatshisname was a serious political player. He is a failed deep state bureaucrat whose words mean less than nothing to the people who support the Senator. The so-called “Spy” would not know a middle east terrorist if one showed up at one of the cocktail parties he is so anxious to be invited to. He is widely mocked in Alabama where it counts and where Tuberville is worshipped..

According to Breitbart, Tuberville has reported Hayden to the Capitol Police. I doubt much will result from this but it is the right thing to do. The feckless powers to be in DC will just sit on their hands.

    Milhouse in reply to buck61. | October 11, 2023 at 8:31 pm

There is nothing the Capitol Police can or should do about it. His statement was fully protected by the first amendment. Any police action that would have a chilling effect on protected speech is illegal.

Anyone who would like to send some encouraging attaboys to Coach Tuberville can do so through his website.

https://www.tuberville.senate.gov/

I am not a constitutional historian and have never heard this issue discussed. When the framers were drafting the advise and consent process was it their intent that a group of nominees could be confirmed en masse. I realize that the concept of “without objection” was used was it their intent to apply it to nominations. I realize the size of the government and military is much different today and to debate each one can be a very time consuming process.
