Comer ‘Concerned’ Biden Nominated Hunter’s Former Colleague to Lead Special Counsel Office
Why does everything lead to Hunter Biden?
Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer is unhappy that President Joe Biden nominated one of Hunter Biden’s former colleagues as Special Counsel to the Office of Special Counsel.
Hampton Dellinger worked with Hunter at a law firm. Comer spoke to Fox:
“President Biden’s decision to appoint Hunter Biden’s former colleague as head of the Office of Special Counsel raises concerns that he’s trying to protect his son instead of whistleblowers,” Comer, R-Ky., told Fox News Digital.
“The Office of Special Counsel is responsible for investigating whistleblower retaliation at agencies like the Departments of Justice and the Treasury,” he added. “Naming a Biden family crony to this position does not instill confidence that the law will be enforced fairly.”
Dellinger already worked in the DOJ from 2021 to 2023. He worked as an Assistant Attorney General overseeing the Office of Legal Policy.
The Senate had to confirm Dellinger to that role.
Before the DOJ, Dellinger served as the Deputy Attorney General in North Carolina’s DOJ and Chief Legal Counsel in the Office of the North Carolina Governor.
So everything about government is so gross. You can pretty much tie everyone together.
But the constant ties to Hunter are the creepiest:
But before his government career, Dellinger worked on Boies Schiller Flexner’s Crisis Management and Government Response team while Hunter Biden served as counsel at the firm. The firm had represented Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings, where Hunter Biden had served on its board of directors.
Fox News Digital reviewed emails on Hunter’s abandoned laptop, which showed he worked intimately with lawyers on the firm’s crisis management team and indicated he attended a private gathering with Dellinger and other firm employees in March 2014.
In a February 2014 email, Dellinger told Hunter it was “great to see [him] last week” and asked whether he would be attending an attorney lunch. Hunter appeared to have a conflict, but said he would be in the office the next day.

Dellinger? I know a few Dellingers from the Forest City, NC area.
Such nice, upstanding citizens /s
The Bidens should be in jail for bribery and sedition, but regarding the Republicans’ “concerns” about the Independent Counsel’s conflicts of interest, I have to say “chickens coming home to roost”.
Many years ago, I provided my professional services (free of charge) as a subject-matter expert and Professional Engineer to attorneys for whistleblowers who lost their jobs for exposing fraud and dangerous conditions at several government laboratories. The whistleblowers’ Republican senators and congressmen participated in the cover-up of that malfeasance, and enthusiastically endorsed the “independent” investigation that was carried out by scientists who worked for those very laboratories.
So, Republicans, you were co-authors of the culture of corruption that you’re now decrying.
They know that! Any “concern” expressed is just for the cameras.
“The Bidens should be in jail for bribery and sedition,”
Hanged for treason is more like it.
Maybe fentanyl should be used for those convicted of treason? Cheaper than a bullet or rope. It seems likely that just like deep state, that there are far more traitors than we dreamed of.
You might say Mexico would be paying for it
The Bidens should be on the cover of the next book on ethics.
“Concerned”? He should be outraged. He should be stating unequivocally that he will not confirm, and that Biden’s DoJ is absolutely violating the Special Counsel law and suggest that impeachment is in order.
IDK that it would require a confirmation. If a confirmation is required it will be by the Senate. Comer is in the HoR.
Comer is in the HoR.
Ah, missed that.
I’m gonna stick with the impeachment part, though.
No worries. So much DC dirt, shenanigans and folks scurrying for cover that it’s tough to keep it all straight.
NYPost: Hunter Biden asks for federal gun charges to be dismissed, claims he has immunity
Defense attorneys Abbe Lowell and Richard Jones said a July diversion agreement “that both parties signed remains in force, and he will seek to dismiss the Indictment against him pursuant to the immunity provisions of that Agreement,” according to a Friday court filing.
… this sounds like a good time to subpoena Hunter Biden since he has immunity
Hunter has probably built up a robust immunity to a host of social diseases.
Or he just lives with them and spreads them far and wide.
The comedian Theo Von when told to watch out for the monkeys around a resort he was playing and not to interact with them b/c they had herpes he reportedly said ‘Eff them monkeys, they better watch out for me ’cause I got some shit too’.
Notice it says concerned, not surprised.
Are any of us surprised at anything these days?
The progressive marxists just really don’t care how bad things that they do look to the normal person at this point.
They truly believe that since they control the DoJ and at least D.C. federal courts they are above such considerations as integrity, fairness, corruption, lawfulness, etc. and can do as they please.
Unfortunately, they are generally right.
“Why does everything lead to Hunter Biden?”
Because that’s precisely what patsies are FOR.
Joe just tells him he’s the “smartest guy he knows” so he doesn’t get depressed and stop forwarding the checks.
