Trump Thanks Supporters, Scheduled to Appear in Court on Thursday

Trump Thanks Supporters, Scheduled to Appear in Court on Thursday

Trump should appear in court at 4PM in DC on Thursday.

Donald Trump thanked his fans and supporters on Truth Social after another indictment came out yesterday:

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!!! I HAVE NEVER HAD SO MUCH SUPPORT ON ANYTHING BEFORE. THIS UNPRECEDENTED INDICTMENT OF A FORMER (HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL!) PRESIDENT, & THE LEADING CANDIDATE, BY FAR, IN BOTH THE REPUBLICAN PARTY AND THE 2024 GENERAL ELECTION, HAS AWOKEN THE WORLD TO THE CORRUPTION, SCANDAL, & FAILURE THAT HAS TAKEN PLACE IN THE UNITED STATES FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS. AMERICA IS A NATION IN DECLINE, BUT WE WILL MAKE IT GREAT AGAIN, GREATER THAN EVER BEFORE. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Trump is also scheduled to appear in a DC court on Thursday:

Trump is expected to make his first appearance in Washington federal court for his arraignment in the Jan. 6 case on Thursday.

  • He’s been scheduled to appear before Magistrate Judge Moxila Upadhyaya at 4pm ET, per the Department of Justice.
  • Trump will appear “either virtually or in person,” depending on what the judge asks, his lawyer John Lauro told CNN.
  • U.S. District Judge Tanya S. Chutkan has been assigned to oversee the case.

The indictment didn’t name the six co-conspirators. None of them have been indicted.

Comments

This indictment is proof that Trump was right about the 2020 election.

There’s no reason to put something so weak and political into play unless you’re desperate to try to hide a stolen election.

10 years from now, when it is settled that the 2020 election was truly stolen through distributed fraud, the Ds will still insist, “What difference at this point does it make?”

rhhardin in reply to jhkrischel. | August 2, 2023 at 4:20 pm

It does give Trump standing to offer evidence of endless hundreds of examples of fraud in the election, if anybody’s been compiling them, against the prosecution claim that the election was clean. Just as a campaign benefit.

He has never had standing before on the issue.

Smith doesn’t care if the indictment is less than meritless. It’s so bad even an Obama judge might consider dismissing charges. But in the view of these, I’m looking for the right word, I’ll stick with political hacks for now but that’s not sufficient, it doesn’t matter. They’ll add on something else, then something else. Anything to delay, impede, hamper and burden the candidacy of Trump. And they don’t really care that in the end the S.Ct. will dismiss this nonsense, long after they seize power again. They would view that as victory.

So essentially his crime is using his free speech to speak freely about what he thought had happened…you know, like what Democrats had done EVERY time they lost an election.

Yet somehow Trump doing that has landed him in court?

Fucking clown show!

Burn. It. All. To. The. Ground!

HEY!! LET’S PUT EVERYTHING IN CAPITAL LETTERS WITH MULTIPLE EXCLAMATION POINTS!!! BECAUSE THIS SHOWS THAT I AM INNOCENT!! I AM INNOCENT I TELL YOU!!! AND ALL OF THESE CAPITAL LETTERS AND EXCLAMATION POINTS PROVE THAT I AM INNOCENT!!! EVERYONE IS OUT TO GET ME!!! THIS IS A VAST CONSPIRACY AGAINST ME!!! PLEASE SEND ME MONEY!!! RIGHT NOW!!! I LOVE YOU ALL!! BUT MOST OF ALL I LOVE THE MONEY THAT YOU KEEP SENDING ME!!! PLEASE SEND ME MORE MONEY!!!

I suggest that whenever a post has more than 10% caps that that post should automatically be reduced to 4 point character size?

What a sad comment from someone with a bad case of TDS!

mailman in reply to JR. | August 3, 2023 at 2:25 am

Trump is living rent free where that peanut called your brain should be JR.

Also give it up JR, he ain’t gonna date you no matter how much you identify as a pussy.

    Hat! Pussy hat!! 😂😂

At what point do Trump supporters just stop sending in their financial contributions? Most of his contributors don’t have much money. They are sending in checks for $20, $30 or $50. They are working class people who have trouble paying their monthly bills. Do they know that all of the money they are sending Trump goes directly to pay for his $1,000 dollar an hour lawyers?

At what point do citizens just stop sending their taxes to the federal government, when all that money is going to punishing the political opponents of the Deep State?

Do they know that all of the money they’re sending to the feds goes directly to attack their families, institutions, and freedoms?

    Jr.

    No self awareness, At. ALL….

gonzotx in reply to JR. | August 2, 2023 at 6:57 pm

Yes, we do know and we will continue to support our rightful President because the only reason they are terrified of him is because they know, not only is he innocent but he stepped into this snake pit for US

He is talking all the slings, arrows and all the other BS

    For US…

      txvet2 in reply to gonzotx. | August 2, 2023 at 9:03 pm

“”we will continue to support our rightful President””

And I fully support your right to do so. In fact, I don’t even mind that he has billionaires contributing to his superPAC.

MarkS in reply to JR. | August 2, 2023 at 7:29 pm

It’s their money, why do you care what they do with it?

Sounds like DC operative talking points. Must question how “in touch” you are with real Trump supporters, as you constantly disparage, or how you know where “ALL” of their money goes. Where did you get the inside information?

Another comment, like the silly one above about caps, of small, if any, value. It’s too bad you don’t seem to have a clue.

CommoChief in reply to oldschooltwentysix. | August 3, 2023 at 8:15 am

The FEC filings of the campaign expenditures are public. Supposedly about 80% of Trump’s fundraising is going to legal expenses according to Zero Hedge.

Feel free to look it up on line and verify for yourself. It isn’t secret squirrel info.

Telemachus in reply to CommoChief. | August 3, 2023 at 8:52 am

Chief, it won’t matter to him (or the other OnlyTrumpers) that their contributions are paying the legal expenses for a billionaire. Or that more than $100,000 of campaign money went to Melania’s stylist.

        He said ALL. Not 80%.

Oh ok, that makes all the difference./s
Obviously 80% is isn’t 100% so fair enough.

It is a legit question though. What % of those folks making campaign contributions were aware that the contributions were not being used for campaign purposes but diverted for a legal defense fund?

IMO, this is another example of how Trump makes self inflicted wounds. He’s going to be questioned about this b/c at first blush it seems shady; like some ‘go fund me scam’. If he blows it off and gives a non answer like ‘my fundraising is perfect’ he’s gonna make the story bigger instead of putting it to bed.

MarkSmith in reply to JR. | August 3, 2023 at 9:00 am

A lot of assumptions thereJR. Prove ur statement about Trump donors. I bet if u looked deeper, those donor are hard workers people that don’t buy their coffee at $7 a clip on a credit card with monthly payments and actually have a retirement savings account. I would bet most have credit scores in excess of 775.

JohnSmith100 | August 2, 2023 at 6:37 pm

That is money well spent, when Trump was in office my retirement savings were growing and inflation was low. There is so much more, but it would be a waste on someone with a severe case of TDS.

I do wish the best President in my lifetime the best of luck

Off topic: Has anyone lately heard from Pasadena Phil?

    txvet2 in reply to Ira. | August 2, 2023 at 8:54 pm

He posted here a few times under another pseudonym, but I haven’t seen anything for months.

No matter what he does, there will always be those that will find something wrong. You see, using caps is what matters.

Since when is freedom a speech a crime? Only when you’re the opposition candidate who will defeat Senile Joe in the 2024 election

Per the Democrats, you are free to say whatever does not offend them. If what you say, whether true or not, offends them it is a crime. And you should be executed for high treason, locked away for the rest of your life or sent to a reeducation camp to learn what may be freely said. That is the Democrats order of preference.

Rep. Gaetz has an interesting idea. Use the law that allows any congressional committee or sub-committee to grant immunity to call Trump in and grant him full immunity. Then all the Democrat brains could explode at once.

Go Trump! 2024
Pray for Donald Trump…..the truth will prevail…God is on your side.🇺🇸🙏

It’s more than odd that while FJB was VPOTUS and apparently shaking down more than one foreigner with disposable petrol-dollars, his boss (aka Long-legged MacDaddy/messiah/The One) willingly chose to be aggressively un-curious while it was taking place right under his pompous schnoz.
