DOJ: Jail Staff’s Negligence, Failures Enabled Epstein to Commit Suicide
This does little to squash conspiracy theories.
Authorities found sex offender and trafficker Jeffrey Epstein dead in his cell in April 2019 as he awaited a federal trial.
The DOJ inspector general released its report today regarding Epstein’s report
The DOJ “uncovered no evidence to contradict the designation of [Jeffrey] Epstein’s death as a suicide.”
But the report on Epstein’s death found numerous failings and neglect on the part of the prison staff that allowed Epstein to committ suicide.
WEIRD because I thought someone suicided him:
Despite his suicide attempt just weeks earlier, in the hours before his death staff at the since shuttered Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan didn’t assign Epstein a cellmate, neglected to search his cell, failed to conduct their rounds and gave him extra bedding that he used to hang himself, the report said. Surveillance cameras around the unit where Epstein was housed were turned on but broken, so they captured no video of the area the night he died.
The jail was short-staffed, poorly managed and ill-equipped to manage suicidal inmates, the report said. One staff member assigned to supervise Epstein had worked 24 hours straight by the time the accused sex trafficker was found dead in his cell.
The “combination of negligence, misconduct and outright job performance failures” created an environment ripe for Epstein’s suicide, spurring conspiracy theories and depriving his victims of the chance to see him brought to justice, Inspector General Michael Horowitz said. “The fact that these chronic problems and failures have been recurring ones does not excuse them and gives additional urgency to the need for BOP and DOJ leadership to address them.”
It makes me wonder if all this neglect didn’t happen on purpose. The dude seemed to have connections to every rich and important person in the world.

They say he used a bed sheet but the pictures tell a different story.
If by “suicide” you mean the guards gave a window of time where “suicide” could occur unobserved and unrecorded…sure.
I seem to recall two guards fast asleep as the strangulation occurred. I believe they lost their jobs, but that was it.

DOJ’s report was mostly written before any “investigation” began. It is as believable as Lizzo saying she’s never had a single donut. Throw it on the pile on top of the Steele Dossier.
This “report” would be a lot more meaningful if the DOJ had any credibility at all. Really. ANY credibility would be an improvement.
He is on “suicide watch”, so they move him to a new cell and tell him the cameras don’t work in this cell, were are giving you extra bedsheets, but if you need 50 ft of rope, just ask.

More to the point: Rich and important LIBERAL men were frequent visitors to his sex slave rape Island, and also his ranch in AZ, where by his own account Epstein was trying to impregnate every girl there.
Hillary and Huma were on the flight log for one of the trips to Epstein’s rape Island, and they brought Chelsea to his ranch in AZ.
One of Epstein’s friends was suicided also – Mark Middleton. According to the sheriff’s account, he tied himself to a tree using extension cords and then committed suicide by shotgun, and managed to dispose of the gun before police arrived despite still being tied to the tree. And dead.
