‘Welcome Back’ Trends as Twitter Restores James O’Keefe and Dozens of Other Banned Accounts

It’s a whole new era on Twitter, thanks to Elon Musk.

On Friday, Twitter restored dozens of accounts which were banned in recent years in a sign of how different things have become on the site under the leadership of Elon Musk.

This is not entirely unexpected. Musk promised to do this a few weeks ago.

CNN reported on November 25th:

Elon Musk says he will begin restoring previously banned Twitter accounts next week

Elon Musk said Thursday that he will begin restoring most previously banned accounts on Twitter starting next week, in his most wide-reaching move yet to undo the social media platform’s policy of permanently suspending users who repeatedly violated its rules.

“The people have spoken,” Musk tweeted on Thursday. “Amnesty begins next week. Vox Populi, Vox Dei.”

The announcement comes after Musk on Wednesday polled his followers about whether to offer “general amnesty to suspended accounts, provided that they have not broken the law or engaged in egregious spam.”

The poll, which closed around 12:45 pm ET on Thursday, finished with 72.4% voting in favor of the proposition and 27.6% voting against. The poll garnered more than 3 million votes on Twitter.

Musk was good to his word. Here are some of the accounts that were just reactivated.

James O’Keefe of Project Veritas.

Mike Lindell of MyPillow.

Conservative journalist Emerald Robinson.

Lawyer and conservative activist Rogan O’Handley.

Conservative blogger Jim Hoft of the Gateway Pundit and Pamela Geller.

Pastor Greg Locke.

Dr. Robert W. Malone.

Dr. Peter A. McCullough.

Daniel Horowitz of the Blaze.

Entrepreneur and philanthropist Steve Kirsch.

Writer Matt Couch.

Writer Kanekoa.

Conservative activist Mindy Robinson.

Congratulations to all of these folks and anyone we may have missed.

There is only one song on my mind right now.

Elon has dark forces remaining
I’m currently banned and told to remove “A jab’ll do ya #diedsuddenly” because it’s harrassing an individual snowflake

Not happeneing

Oh my. How does The Whining Wad bitch about the suspended Doxxers, without bringing attention to the perma-banned wrongthinkers also coming back?

Set the way the story is framed, and you win before it starts. The Whining Wad — or rather their handlers and word crafters — have worked this way forever.

They’d have done better to keep the lying Hoft brothers out.

    You do understand that you don’t have to read anything they post right?

      GateWayPundit is a major problem for the right, and Milhouse is correct to point it out.

      Milhouse and I disagree all the time sometimes ferociously (just ask him) he is dead right however to point out the GatewayPundit and others are extreme liabilities for us and we need to start building up an immunity for ourselves against them.

        What is the specific issue with the Gateway Pundit? I have my own opinions, but I’m curious about this position.

          BECAUSE THEY JUST ARE!! To people like Danny they hate TGWP because they aren’t afraid to just come out and tell people how corrupted Democrats are. They also hate TGWP because they are unabashed Trump supporters and THAT is the absolute worst crime actual conservatives can commit, supporting an actual conservative President who actually achieved amazing things in spite of the shit show staged against him through his term.

          They are liars and fake news that’s what.

    They would do better to not ban people because of personal dislike: an opinion I am sad to see that you do not apparently share.

    I’ll bite. What are their specific lies?

      Danny in reply to Plebeian. | December 19, 2022 at 2:08 pm

      Off the top of my head

      1. They claimed PA got back more ballots than they sent out in 2020 (an extremely blatant lie they created it by replacing the numbers PA sent out during the general election with that sent out during the primary).

      2. They claimed Trump lawsuits got kicked out without a hearing (an even worst lie and one that like the first actually stuck; I have quoted from JUDICIAL DECISIONS written by those judges AFTER HEARING THE CASE over a hundred times here).

      3. They richly deserve to be bankrupt for this alone but they personally targeted people who worked at Dominion.

      4. Claimed Republican Party claimed voter fraud in Florida 2016 (it did no such thing making that one a lie the Republican Party has never claimed fraud in the 2016 Florida election that GatewayPundit claim was for clicks)

      5. Claimed the Georgia Secretary of State had a brother named Ron who worked for a Chinese tech company

      6. For purposes of this not being a hundred points long will just say 2020

      Fake news harms our side because once you are caught in some lies you destroy your credibility at everything else.

      Someone you have lied to and claimed that PA got back more ballots than it sent out will not believe anything else from you.

      They are willing to tell deliberate lies to you to make you believe what they want you to believe. That alone makes them a liability.

        Well, that’s certainly disappointing. They seem to bring some statistical expertise to the table that is sorely lacking elsewhere. It’s unfortunate if they can’t be trusted.

        The one valuable thing they did for me back in 2020 was reveal the existence of the Edison data feeds for election returns on the New York Times site. I was able to download all the JSON data for several states and perform some analysis. To say that there were anomalies would be a gross understatement. Perhaps their reputation was one of the reasons why that line of inquiry didn’t seem to get pursued by anyone else I could find.

      This, for example. There haven’t been enough data experts out there to explain things like this from the Pennsylvania returns:

      {
      “vote_shares”: {
      “bidenj”: 0.664,
      “trumpd”: 0.312
      },
      “votes”: 1325632,
      “eevp”: 19,
      “eevp_source”: “edison”,
      “timestamp”: “2020-11-04T02:21:59Z”
      }, {
      “vote_shares”: {
      “bidenj”: 0.627,
      “trumpd”: 0.363
      },
      “votes”: 739443,
      “eevp”: 19,
      “eevp_source”: “edison”,
      “timestamp”: “2020-11-04T02:22:45Z”
      }

    So people should only be permitted to tweet if you approve of what they say?

Let everyone on. Hold everyone accountable for common sense violations; child exploitation, revenge porn, location doxing, doxing of residence location, calls for violence against a specific person or group and coordination of violent criminal action under US law. Let the Twitter user universe police ‘misinformation’ by adding tags. Beyond those basic things let the marketplace rule. Users can read, follow or block things as they wish. My two cents.

Politically verboten speech is politically congruent (“=”) to stalking. Musk is outing the progressive liberal (i.e. monotonically divergent) and their anarchist bedmates.

From a previous L.I. post: “FBI flagged even satire tweets: “The takeaway: what most people think of as the “deep state” is really a tangled collaboration of state agencies, private contractors, and (sometimes state-funded) NGOs.””

I’ve seen the bluebird cage and the damage done. The literal fascist psy-op of choaked info and shaped narrative helped to steal the 2020 election.

This ongoing bluebird poop fest is merely ‘back to muh normal’ distraction Elon is allowed to perform in order to placate the normies. Meanwhile, all the degenerate marxist meat puppets in JoeBama World continue burn down the country.
