The Pentagon reportedly keeps track of specific internet searches, including the phrase “the truth about Black Lives Matter.”
Mobs of BLM supporters can march through American cities, causing all kinds of destruction, but you better not be snooping on the background of their organization.

Reports circulating Tuesday reveal that the Pentagon is working with a contractor to track web searches that it describes as indicators of “white supremacy,” citing the phrase “the truth about black lives matter” as one example.
This is a shocking revelation, considering The Jewish Voice has reported over the last several years relentlessly on the subject of Black Lives Matter, its founders, and its belief system.
This report, if correct is one of the most egregious attacks on the 1st amendment in America’s history.
Reports from Defense One and Fox News state that the Pentagon is working with a UK-based company called Moonshot CVE (Countering Violent Extremism) to uncover networks of domestic extremists within the military.
Moonshot has ties to former President Obama, as well as the SPLC, the once outstanding ADL, and George Soros’ Open Foundation, according to the reports.
Wait, what was that? Ties to Obama and the Southern Poverty Law Center? You don’t say.
Of course, the Pentagon denies this.

The Pentagon on Wednesday denied it “secured the services” of Moonshot CVE, an extremism analysis company that considers the web search “the truth about Black Lives Matter” and others to be signs of interest in or engagement with White supremacism.
Defense One reported last month that Moonshot CVE, which has ties to the Obama Foundation, was working on data that would identify which military bases and branches had the most troops searching for domestic extremist content. While that particular project’s contours were unclear, the company had released a June report, in conjunction with the left-leaning Anti-Defamation League, on purported “White supremacy trends in the United States.”
In it, the U.K.-based company reported it “monitored a list of almost 1,600 indicators of interest in or engagement with White supremacism, focused specifically on anti-Black and anti-Semitic narratives being used by extremist groups.” As examples, it listed the search phrases “George Floyd deserved to die,” “Jews will not replace us” and “the truth about black lives matter.”
As an organization, Black Lives Matter has the ultimate defense mechanism. Any questioning of the group is instant proof of the white supremacy they claim to decry, and that premise is supported not only by them but by influential people in Washington.

Just did the search, unfortunately, I use DuckDuckGo
DuckDuckGo is incognito mode and anyone can see what you’re doing, most notably your ISP. A VPN will do what you think DuckDuckGo is doing which is tunnel traffic to a secure location. I use NordVPN and it’s very easy to setup. There are many to choose from. If you don’t want to spend money on a VPN, your next best bet is a third party DNS server, this will bypass your ISPs DNS so they won’t see the resolution,
duckduckgo.com operates on HTTPS which encrypts all of your queries in transit. Someone would have to break that encryption, hack duckduckgo’s data center, or gain access to your browser history to know what you’ve been searching for there.
Using a VPN would add another layer of encryption on top. Using ‘ingognito mode’ would prevent your browser from storing your search history locally.
It turns out the monster THEY created is coming after them.

As a (retired) ISP, let me assure you that if an ISP is interested in your DNS resolution, he can see it.
To stoke your paranoia further, look up CALEA.
DNS resolution would just tell them that you’re hitting duckduckgo, not what you’re searching for.
Certainly, but I was responding to the portion of the post that suggested using a third party DNS to keep your IP in the dark about what you were resolving.

What Id love to know is what amount of effort is invested in to this bullshit vs what effort the pentagon puts in to tracking actual terrorists (by actual I mean people who aren’t considered terrorists because of their conservative political beliefs).
Well, we know for a fact that the Pentagons FAILURE to do the job they were SUPPOSED to do aided and abetted terrorist Devin Kelley in killing 26 people and wounding 20 others at a Texas church in 2017.

Not surprising. SecDef Lloyd Austin – an American version of Théoneste Bagosora – has made no secret of his desire to use the US military to fight a race war on American soil to combat “white supremacy”.
Bagosora? Really? Seems a wee bit exaggerated. But have no doubt, the priority of the military in this admin has less to do with overseas threats than ever in history. Focus shifted significantly to within our on borders. Sadly, we are learning more every day that it didn’t just start on Jan 21. The usurpation of authority and power within the military and defense intelligence overall has been building for some time.
The parallels between Austin and Bagosora are there. Both are men of meager talent and ability. Both see large groups of enemies in society that must be attacked and eliminated (Tutsis and “sympathizers”; “white nationalists”). Both seek to shape their respective militaries into private armies loyal first and foremost to them. Both want to expunge their militaries of undesirable elements (anyone who might object). Both seek to change their militaries’ primary mission from defending against foreign adversaries to fighting internal enemies. The last similarity is crucial: the Biden* administration has repeatedly claimed that “white nationalism” is the biggest threat the nation faces, and has also tried to claim that political opposition is tantamount to launching another civil war.
There are other parallels. In Rwanda, for decades the Hutu Power groups led waves of periodic murders, burnings, and looting against Tutsis and their “sympathizers” (with the authorities turning a blind eye to the violence). In the US BLM/Antifa enjoy a quasi-legal status to commit similar atrocities. Just like Rwanda, the allegedly free media in the US serves the ruling party, and openly promotes violence and oppression against those targeted by the ruling party.
Time will tell, but there are enough similarities between Bagosora and Austin that should make your skin crawl.
There are always parallels. I mean, there are parallels between Hitler and leaders who are compared to him. But it’s a wild exaggeration to equate him with almost anyone else. Same with Bagosora to me.

When I first saw the headline that “The Pentagon” was doing this, I naturally assumed they were tracking these searches made by servicepeople.
It wasn’t until most of the way down in the article that this suspicion was confirmed: “data that would identify which military bases and branches had the most troops searching for domestic extremist content.”
So A, our searches aren’t the issue (yet); and B, the First Amendment case here is now highly polluted by the “condition of employment” issue.
To: FBI, CIA, NSA, DOD, U.S. Postal Service and any other federal government agency involved in obnoxiously spying on Americans who reject the dictates and agenda of the vile, totalitarian, narcissistic, infantile and vindictive Dhimmi-crat totalitarians.
