Report: Blinken Authorized Embassies to Fly Black Lives Matter Flags
Embassies in Athens, Cambodia, Madrid, and Sarajevo flew the BLM flag on the anniversary of George Floyd’s death.
ABC News reported an internal memo said Secretary of State Antony Blinken authorized U.S. embassies and consulates to fly the Black Lives Matter flag on the anniversary of George Floyd’s death:
All U.S. diplomatic posts are “strongly encouraged” to use the department’s resources “to promote policy objectives to advance racial equity and support for underserved communities,” especially on May 25 and during June to commemorate Juneteenth, according to Blinken’s memo.
That includes support for using “the term ‘Black Lives Matter’ in messaging content, speeches, and other diplomatic engagements with foreign audiences to advance racial equity and access to justice on May 25 and beyond.”
That push to promote racial justice and equality has been a cornerstone of Blinken’s short time at the agency, rankling critics, including his predecessor Mike Pompeo.
The State Department released a video on Tuesday. Blinken claimed the U.S. “must face reality of racism at home” if it wants “to be a credible force for human rights around the world.”
“By addressing our shortcomings openly and honestly, we live up to the values that we stand for worldwide,” added Blinken.
The embassy in Athens flew the flag:
“We raise this banner in honor of George Floyd, murdered one year ago today, in solidarity with people around the globe seeking a world without racial discrimination and a future with equal opportunity for all,” read a post from the embassy’s official account, which included the hashtag “#BlackLivesMatter”.
Embassies in Madrid and Sarajevo also displayed the BLM flag. U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia W. Patrick Murphy tweeted a picture of the flag on the fence around the embassy.

My mom died last year. Her death involved racism* as much as Floyd’s. When will they fly her flag ?
* The MN Attorney General said racism was not a factor in Floyd’s death and the proscutor never presented evidence that the cop was racist. You can bet they left no-stone-uncovered in the search for any shred of evidence that the cop was racist. The fact that they never presented a motive (racism) speaks louder than anything they presented at trial because for 10 months BLM told the world Floysd was killed by a racist cop and that Floyd was a poster-child for victims of racism. And that racism was “systemic”.
Nope. Race was not a factor. — But they have not stopped. All the “anniversary” events talk about Floyd like he is a civil rights leader who was a victim of racism. It’s all build on a lie and race-baiters and their media enablers who profit from perpetuating the lie.

If I correctly understand the thinking of progressives (and that’s quite a scary thought), the next step will be to make the flying of a BLM flag not just permissible, but mandatory. Flying the Stars and Stripes will become optional.
We need a dirty tricks hoaxster to ship every US embassy a skull and crossbones flag, then while the boxes are in shipment, put out an “official” press release from BLM saying they have changed their official flag to that one.
There is arrogance, gall and narcissism in flying a flag that says “Black Lives Matter” in countries that are nearly 100% white.
I wonder if America will be flying the false flag in any African embassy. Now that would be the height of hubris.
A recent study by a team of medical doctors and scientists concluded that lives have no color. So while it may be accurate to say the black people matter, their lives, like those of all other humans on earth, have no discernible color.
While there are people of color, there are no lives of color. That means our physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual being, everything we are, were and ever will be cannot be put into that category.
Why not a red flag hammer and sickle also?
Flying the Burn Loot Murder flag is the same thing as flying a Democratic Party flag. Has that ever been done before? Certainly no Republican could ever get away with it, or would ever want to.
Might as well fly the hammer and sickle flag, the communist Chinese star flag, or, the Islamic crescent flag, over U.S. embassies.
