Lincoln Project Creating Database to Prevent Trump Admin Officials From Future Employment

The never-Trump grifter group known as the ‘Lincoln Project’ is now going to create a database of former Trump administration officials to track their professional movements in the future.
This is just the latest example of the vindictive, anti-Trump revenge politics we have seen recently, and there is surely more to come.

The Lincoln Project is creating a database of officials and staffers from Donald Trump’s administration that will purportedly be used to hold them accountable for supporting the head of state during his time in office, Breitbart reported.
“At @ProjectLincoln we are constructing a database of Trump officials & staff that will detail their roles in the Trump administration & track where they are now,” Lincoln Project staffer and GOP operative Stuart Stevens tweeted on Saturday.
The news comes amid calls for Trump to be impeached and removed from office for his role in the Wednesday attacks on the U.S. Capitol.
Breitbart noted that the database echoes the Trump Accountability Project that was promoted by progressive Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The project was quickly abandoned after backlash from various Republican and Democrat political figures.
The Lincoln Project actively opposed Trump throughout the duration of his presidency and Breitbart noted that the group has become close with the “left-wing elite.”
Trump’s worst critics are everything they accuse him of being.

Meanwhile, the COO of Forbes is telling people not to hire anyone who worked for Trump.

Forbes’s chief operating officer has a straightforward message for companies as the Trump administration ends: Don’t hire Trump White House officials.
Randall Lane wrote an opinion article for the outlet published on Thursday, in which he argued that the president’s spokespeople have “debase[d] themselves,” so companies shouldn’t “let the chronic liars cash in on their dishonesty.”
He argued that everyone from Sean Spicer to Sarah Huckabee Sanders to Kellyanne Conway to Kayleigh McEnany don’t “merit the same golden parachute” that former press secretaries such as Joe Lockhart, Ari Fleischer, and Jay Carney typically enjoy. Lane noted that Forbes would question the credibility of any company that chooses to employ any Trump official.
“Let it be known to the business world: Hire any of Trump’s fellow fabulists above, and Forbes will assume that everything your company or firm talks about is a lie,” he wrote.

Forbes seems a bit too upset that the Trump administration policies interrupted the profit streams of the advertisers at Forbes. Wall Street firms having to actually work to make a profit and not simply grift off the Chinese govt?
As always, creating an enemies list is a two way street. It can also become self fulfilling. Not a wise, prudent or unifying step.
I was thinking the same thing, it would be a shame if All Lincoln associates ended up on a list, along with Antifa, BLM and others.

After a few months have gone by and President Trump seems to be a less relevant problem than before, the reasons to put someone into the database will be expanded.
Saying anything critical (or insufficiently approving) of the Harris administration will be one of them. Also, criticizing the database itself, or claiming that deplatforming conservatives constitutes censorship will be too. (This last thing will be called misinformation).
Before long, the list will be enormous, and government agencies and companies like Forbes will pay high fees for access. Other leftists will be filled with envy at this example of the old leftist canard about doing well, by doing good.
