AOC’s Death Stare at Sen. Manchin Shows the Divide in the Democratic Party
You’re so hip, AOC. So brave. Much wow.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) thought posting a picture of herself throwing a death stare at Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) in response to him condemning socialism and defunding the police was a smart idea.
Instead, it shows how AOC is full of herself and there’s still a divide in the Democratic Party.
I also find it hilarious that she talks down to President Donald Trump over his personality and yet she can act like a child.
Someone also needs to remind AOC that just because you’re loud doesn’t mean you’re right and everyone agrees with you.

AOC has got to get out of her head and box. She is so focused on herself that she just cannot imagine how others think and feel.
Did AOC ever consider West Virginia? Manchin is a Democratic senator in a deep red state. He is in the Senate to represent the people of his state, not AOC’s over-the-top socialist agenda.
But everyone who screamed Medicare-for-All won re-election! According to AOC, that must mean every single American wants socialism, right?
Fuzzy pointed out last week that all of those people come from a safe Democratic district. Like AOC!
AOC insisted that the party needs to remember that she is not the enemy and neither is the base. The base? Excuse me?
The Democrats lost House seats as Republicans made a huge gain. Democrats have a slim majority. The Republicans will likely keep control of the Senate.
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats usually brush aside AOC and her gang. I wonder if more will speak out against them if the Republicans keep the Senate.
AOC has already tried to pressure Joe Biden into picking far-left people for his Cabinet and embrace radical ideas. Far-left publications have snapped fingers and said it’s time for the Democrats to that position as well.
It’s not a good idea.
These people all have young and enthusiastic voters. Have you noticed that they’re always young? It reminds me of Matthew McConaughy’s character in Dazed and Confused: “I get older, they stay the same age.”
Okay, obviously not the same situation! But the fact is there is a reason why AOC and Sen. Bernie Sanders always have young fans. So many people are socialist or leftist at a young age (me) and then change their ways when they get into the real world (me).
Don’t take my word for it. There are plenty of AOC fans and Democrats who have had enough of her antics.
Know your audience: It’s time to change the phrasing on this as to not alienate moderates. Reallocate funds to support services is much more of a winning argue.

AOC is not stupid, but neither is she very bright. She is amazingly politically tone-deaf, and will step on her own message with her sometimes bizarre antics (her very public threats to primary Communists she deems insufficiently dedicated to the Glorious Revolution was an unforced error). She may someday become the American Führer (that is certainly her dream) but her political clumsiness tends to alienate anyone outside of her Twitter Kool-aid Klub.
To me the really dangerous one in the Squad is Ilhan Omar. Unlike AOC, who is a one-woman cult of personality, Omar has begun assembling a formidable political machine in Minnesota. Also unlike AOC Omar is vocal in her antisemitism, which is a major plus in Party circles. Omar also seems to have more allies in the Communist Party than the loner AOC. As a Muslim woman Omar has never shied away from attacking anyone who criticizes her as a misogynist Islamophobic bigot. That last may be the key: Omar understands that Karen America is utterly terrified of being accused of bigotry and will agree to anything to obtain forgiveness.
It may be that America’s Führer has not arrived on the scene yet. But of all the ones currently in political office I find Omar the most frightening.
She is stupid. Shockingly stupid. Seriously, listen to one of her insane podcasts, if you can stand your brain melting.
However, her stupidity does not make her LESS dangerous.
Coupled with her arrogance, it makes her MORE dangerous.
She is a true believer. She BELIEVES all of the crap that she spews, but she also lacks the intelligence and skills necessary to actually understand and plan out the steps it would take to put her pie-in-the-sky dreams in place, and the havoc that it would cause should she actually get her way.
Because she is totally unable to actually understand HOW to achieve her rabidly held beliefs, she becomes utterly convinced that the only thing preventing everything from being sugar and rainbows is the evil conservatives.
Her ideas are right and good and just, and the ONLY reason that anybody could possibly have to oppose her brilliance is if they are evil. Any law that restricts her getting what she has decreed is Good is an evil obstacle.
Her stupidity, coupled with her arrogance and utter conviction that she is right, make her the single most dangerous Democrat in existence. If she ever actually got real power, it would be a nightmare for everybody.
She’s a zealot. She has a zealot’s fervor and conviction. But,that doesn’t make her smart. The manifest idiocy of her comments (e.g., regarding Jeff Bezos — “Nobody makes a billion dollars;” to proffer only one example) clearly demonstrates her low IQ.

The democrat party isn’t going to survive the 2020 election. At least not in it’s current form. It is going to be destroyed. Maybe they can rebuild, but not for some time. This funny anecdote which is a good analogy of what is going on I think came to me this afternoon.
A blind man with his new seeing eye dog was going down the street and at the corner was waiting to cross. The seeing eye dog takes the man right into the street with heavy oncoming traffic from both directions. Cars are swerving left and right tires screeching all trying to avoid the blind man. When the blind man finally gets to the other side of the street safely miraculously, he takes out a meaty juicy tasty looking dog treat to give to the seeing eye dog. A man who have observed all of this came up to him and said hey that jog almost got you killed and you’re going to give him a treat? The blind man replied I just want to find out where his head is so I can kick it to Help.

FWIW Scott Adams thinks she is really smart. I don’t agree with him all the time..but it makes me wonder. Politics is a game, I don’t like that, but it is apt. The good players, the ones long in the game, practice something called discretion, or deceit, pretty much the same thing.
For all her bravado, I think that is one skill she is sorely missing. Will it be her undoing? I hope so.. unfortunately only time will tell. The damage done in the meantime may be profound.

Addressing many of the comments above: AOC projects an image of stupidity, certainly. But, behind that ditzy exterior is a conniving, controlling woman with set goals. If she wins a third term, she is there for a long as she wants to be. She is the future Speaker.
As for Ilhan Omar: she is nothing but the Democrat party with the mask off. She is also highly dangerous because no one in Minnesota has the steel to oppose her, or take her down, by whatever means necessary.
