Two weeks ago, we reported on Jodi Shaw, the whistleblower from Smith College who called out Smith College for offensive and abusive Critical Race Theory indoctrination for staff. Now the story has gone national.

Smith College is a very leftist women’s college in central Massachusetts. As with many colleges and universities around the country, it is implementing Critical Race Theory (“CRT”) training, including how students, faculty, administrators, and staff should deal with their “white privilege.”
One staff member has just gone public, revealing the insulting and discriminatory nature of such CRT training. She released a video on YouTube, which has led to the expected reaction, including a statement from the President of Smith College denouncing the staff member’s views, but promising not to fire her over it, because the statements were made off campus and the staff member has union job protection.
This story has been picked up by Fox News’ Tucker Carlson. Monday, Carlson had Shaw on as a guest:
Smith College’s solution to [alleged racism on campus] was to create initiatives; programs; committees; councils; and, especially, dialogs and discussions and training programs…that Staff are expected, and in some cases, mandated to attend.
And the problem with these discussions is that they just don’t feel real. They feel scripted. They feel like a performance. It feels like there’s a script for white people and a script for people of color.
And this kind of thing really makes me really uncomfortable. I don’t feel like engaging in a discussion, where I’m pretending to have a real discussion about race.
And so, last winter, I was mandated to attend one of these discussions, and the hired, professional facilitators went around the room and asked each person to talk about their race, in the context of their childhood, no less, and, I politely declined. I said, ‘I’m not comfortable doing that, so I’m going to pass.’
The facilitators later told everyone in the room that any white person who displays any discomfort at all or resistance to discussing their skin color when asked is not actually uncomfortable at all. They’re displaying, what’s called, ‘white fragility’, and, as such, are committing a ‘power play’.

It WAS mandatory training in all federal departments and agencies until Trump signed an executive order cancelling it. Biden and Kamala are going to re-intestate it.

I was reading a more or less random piece on ScaryWomen.com , a more for less random lefty website, and I was struck by an article written today that I could have sworn I’d read a thousand times before. You know, I’m sizeist and ableist because I don’t feature pictures of the gorgeous fat women and disabled of the web. And they featured a whole bunch of pictures of fat women, and I’m sorry, some of the ruder men on this and other conservative sites would have described them, well, perfectly.
And then the thought occurred to me that there are so few permitted thoughts on the left nowadays that the poor writer of this article had to write something identical to other things I’ve seen, because the range of permissible thought is so narrow that she had no choice.

The DarkHorse podcast on youtube is a podcast hosted by Brett Weinstein and his wife Heather Heying, who are the professors that were run out of Evergreen College. They just posted a clip discussing a study that shows a reduction in racism actually causes people to see more racism. Very interesting topic and discussion.
Sounds like the left wants to set up an apartheid system, or a caste system, with the dreaded “white race” classified as “lower than whale excrement”.

Critical race theory is absolutely a bald-faced attempt to create some sort of cultural or social revenge for slavery and segregation. It is the ideological foundation of the Bullshit Lies Metastasize black separatist movement that relegates whitey to subservience, to second-class citizenship.
This is why followers of critical race theory dismiss MLK as an uncle tom, and they need Maoist re-education tactics to create their totalitarian dystopia since its principles are transparently stupid, without factual foundation, and blatantly racist by any commonsense definition of the term.
So far it looks like they won’t succeed, won’t get a majority of Americans to bend the knee, given that most of the country resides in “red states.” But the Biden presidency will advance the racist stooge agenda for the next four years.
I hope after that time the excesses of this pernicious, socially destructive horseshit will have made it obvious even to the corporate whores who pretend to believe in it that it is a formula for totalitarianism.
It has become increasing hard to sort out actual racism in a staggering number of false racism claims.
Watching the George Zimmerman case really opened my eyes. Prior to that I passively accepted Affirmative horse shit, since then I completely reevaluated the whole situation.
In my opinion, blacks have become the most rapid racists in America.
They have had opportunity on a platter. Everyone deserves a chance to prove themselves, to succeed if they are willing to actually earn their way.
And therein lies the problem,lazy intellectually and physically. Lazy about child rearing. Black problems are in large part self inflicted.
Now, to put this in perspective, and in spite of how awful Obama turned out to be, I have voted for John James twice.
He appears to be of good character, and I think he has potential.
I couldn’t vote for James, but sent him a few bucks.
Most people with Black skins are just like most people. Decent, hard working, want to have a better life and have their children have a better life yet.
The problem is that they aren’t the ones getting the attention.
John James seemed a good guy, we have to go out of our way to support non-race baiters.
Too bad he lost. The fix was in, I suppose.
Fortunately the judiciary is, for the immediate future, not going to be inclined to engage in allowing this. They realize that they themselves could become subjected to the same if they allow it to blossom. Unfortunately it, CRT, has already taken root within academia and corporate life.
Also religious (i.e. moral) and ostensibly “secular” culture. Diversity, not limited to racism, and exclusion is a progressive condition exercised under liberal license.
I don’t care what the topic is, I’m not comfortable being forced to disclose any private information about myself or my childhood.
My kid had a class in high school where they were asked to share private things about themselves, and I mentioned to the teacher that that made the kid uncomfortable, and that I agreed with the kid. The teacher had no clue anyone could feel that way. When pointed out to her, she kinda got it, but still thought it would be good for the kid to participate.
Whenever the kids were asked to disclose anything they didn’t want to in school, or write an essay about their private experiences–which was way too often–I always encouraged them to lie. There is no reason to reveal things you don’t want to to anyone.

Ann, This reminds me of when my son was in high school in the late 1990s and he was forced to take a class on boosting his self esteem (this was in response to the Columbine shootings, and don’t ask the connection!). He said that he was asked to reveal private thoughts that he didn’t feel comfortable answering. I looked at the list of questions and I agreed that he shouldn’t answer them. (Stuff like has he ever been abused, have trouble sleeping, feelings of anxiety, etc.) I arranged a meeting with the dimwit physical education teacher who taught the class. I tried using humor but it fell as flat as a boulder crushing an ant. I told her, “Failing my son for this will be counterproductive as it will hurt his self-esteem.” She totally didn’t get it. He passed the class and two years later it was discontinued . I went back to the teacher and gloated about it, but she insisted it was discontinued because of “scheduling issues.” Uh huh.
This is a key point to remember: It’s OK to lie to people to whom you don’t owe the truth.
Diversity dogma (i.e. color judgment) that denies individual dignity, individual conscience, intrinsic value, normalizes color blocs, color quotas, and affirmative discrimination, not limited to racism, under the Progressive Church’s Pro-Choice, selective, opportunistic, relativistic, politically congruent (“=”) quasi-religion (e.g. “ethics”) forces adversity and exclusion.
When first learning of Jodi and her delicious, socially just and exciting narrative on LI last time, I just intuited immediately that these elements would combine materially to generate a starburst.
Her re-debut on the national scene, on Tucker’s program last evening, for me sealed its cosmic fate. Perhaps you share my enthusiasm.
If so, feel the renewing radiance in this creative process toward a better and lasting American existence. Jodi and Tucker, in their modern-day allegory of CRT-guided events at Smith College, are showing us the way out of the ancient but all-too-pervasive present-day cave, where illusions and shadows count for reality.
Simple answer: None of your business.

One thing I learned from 45 years of university teaching is that the administrators are almost invariably lying scum.
You can sue for employment discrimination based on race if you are mandated to attend one of these and they single out your race as guilty or in any way worse than another race. And you should sue. Because it’s the only way this stuff stops.
We could easily replace the existing “white privilege” on college campuses, where expectations for white and Asian students admitted to elite colleges are especially high, with an equivalent “black privilege.” Just impose much higher admissions standards on blacks.
The same for expectations of criminality. Just under-police whites until whites have five times the murder rate of blacks. Then all people, both white and black, will become warier of whites than of blacks.
Reverse today’s crime rates and blacks will be able to enjoy the “privilege” of being victimized by whites at ten times the rate at which blacks victimize whites.
Or we could end all of these perverse racial “privileges” by basing all college admissions, all hiring and all promotions on merit rather than race. Then expectations of merit would be based entirely on position, not race.
We could also allocate law enforcement by crime rate until black areas are no more violent than whites areas. Blacks would no longer suffer the stigma of high expectations of criminality and whites would no longer enjoy the “privilege” of being violently victimized by blacks ten times as often as blacks are victimized by whites.
Change my mind.
