Nancy Pelosi: “I don’t think there should be any debates”
“So, if Joe Biden asked you what I thought about it, I don’t think that he should dignify that conversation with Donald Trump.”
During her weekly press conference, Speaker Nancy Pelosi began laying the groundwork for Biden to back out of the upcoming presidential debates.
Thursday, Pelosi said, “Don’t tell anybody I told you this.. Especially don’t tell Joe Biden. But I don’t think there should be any debates.”

Pelosi went on to discuss how debating Trump would legitimize his lack of use of “truth, evidence, data, and facts” and then paved the way for two separate conversations.
What she said:
“I wouldn’t legitimize a conversation with him nor a debate in terms of the presidency of the United States. Now I know that the Biden campaign thinks in a different way, but I thought what he did in 2016 was disgraceful, stalking Hillary Clinton like that. I was disappointed that the press didn’t say, “Go back to your station! You’re not here, you don’t own this stage, you have your own podium, she has hers.” I think he’ll probably act in a way that is beneath the dignity of the presidency. He does that every day. I think he will also belittle what the debates are supposed to be about and they’re not to be about the skullduggery on the part of someone who has no respect for the office he holds, much less the democratic process. Why else would he try to undermine the election in the manner in which he is doing?
So, if Joe Biden asked you what I thought about it, I don’t think that he should dignify that conversation with Donald Trump. You can ask any questions — both of them — just take their own stage for any number of conversations about any subjects. Hold them accountable. What are they proposing? What is their vision? What is their knowledge? How are they going to get it done? How are they going to connect with the American people? Let that be a conversation with the American people, not an exercise in skullduggery.”

Now wouldn’t it be up to the viewer to make the determination whether they thought Trump or Biden were speaking the truth, presenting facts, and using sufficient data and evidence in their responses?
Have you noticed that the New Media and increasingly,the Old Media, preface their “stories” with “What you need to know about……” This is why the uncritical thinking public is acting more and more like they are being led by a ring in their nose.
NBC’s preference with any story relating to Trump is “Without evidence today, ….
Or, some sitss have this: “What [insert entity or name] doesnt want you to know!”

The fact that she said that proves that she has no respect for Biden.

This is one of PDJT’s strengths. He’s the President, and he’ll be President his own way, not the failed old Washington way. I think presidents usually start out like that, but let Tip O’Neil’s ghost browbeat them into submission. But from where I’m sitting, Trump seems immune to Potomac swamp malaise.
The one thing he wants above all looking like he’s “winning.”
The one thing he can’t get working with them is anything that looks like a win.
If Biden can’t handle Trump on an American stage in front of American press, how is he going to handle muh Russia? Or muh North Korea, China, Iran, or the Duchy of Grand Fenwick?
Does Nancy plan to sit by the red phone and answer it with, “I’m sorry, you can’t speak to Joe right now, he’s taking his nap?”
President Trump should debate an empty chair if Biden doesn’t show.
An empty chair versus a rapidly emptying mind. Either they are laying the groundwork for a once in a lifetime stellar series of debates by the Come Back Joe or this is SOOO obviously an attempt to avoid the inevitable.
Or, debate against Biden video sound bites. That would make the contrast much starker.

Trump should offer to debate the Libertarian and the Green, and make the national audience aware that the Democrat was incapable of attending.
I didn’t think that Trump stalked Clinton at the townhall debate. He was standing by his chair and Clinton was the one moving around in front of Trump. The camera angles shortened up the distance, similar to those “crowded” beach scenes.

I was going to add, nobody’s forcing anybody to go there, but then I reconsidered for many of the patrons that would comprise much of the thrill.
As has been pointed out so many places, if Pelosi thought Biden would do well in a debate against Trump, Pelosi would be for even more debates.

Not happening, by law the electoral college must do their thing on December 14th. If a state can’t figure it out by then, they probably forfeit their electoral votes.
Seeing how Biden’s brain isn’t working there is no way he can debate Trump and no unfriendly media will be allowed to question him either. The media and the Biden campaign will work to protect Biden in order to hide his lack of a brain and to conceal his plans as President.

I’ll offer House District #5 for Oklahoma. It was R but switched to D in 2018. The R really didn’t campaign, thinking he had it sewn up. So, we have Kendra Horn (D) who campaigned to be moderate, but really has followed the D basic line.
A state senator, Stephanie Bice, won a runoff election on Tuesday. I’ve already increased my donation to her campaign.

BTW, when I donate to an out-of-state candidate, I always send an email to state why I supported the candidate and while I am not in their state, their vote is important to me. I then list my needs (1A, 2A, economy, borders, etc.).

In 2008 the media was falling all over itself comparing Palin’s qualifications to Obama’s even though it was McCain who was the POTUS candidate, and finding everything they could about her. Now we have a situation in which the VP candidate is the de facto presidential candidate and the media is cheering her on, without bothering to find out everything they can about her because it’s not necessary.
Pelosi just admitted that Biden’s current mental state will prevent him from competing successfully with Trump in a debate.
No doubt she would like to keep him hidden in the basement, only giving prepared speeches and answering softball questions from his CNN advocates.

This is what I predicted. If the Communists were to allow Biden to “debate” it would only be in separate forums (different TV studios at different times and neither broadcast live) where it would be recorded and carefully edited by the Joseph Goebbels media to achieve the desired political effect.
The only other possibility is to have both candidates on the stage and an audience consisting entirely of Antifa/BLM browshirts, who would then disrupt the debate through violence before it even started. But the optics of that might make the Communists look bad.

We already know what Harris thinks debates are supposed to be about — saying whatever you think will get you an advantage, without any regard for its truth or falsity. Pence should hammer her with that one, if they debate.

As far as I am concerned, Trump and Biden can be in separate sound stages or studios, simulcast live. There is no need for them to share the same physical space and air. That way, Trump cannot physically threaten Biden, which Pelosi seems to fear (although Biden is NOT really subject to intimidation — he would challenge Trump to fight or to a push-up contest).
But we need the two of them to go head to head and toe-to-toe in a debate over ideas and policies. And for Kameltoe and Pence to do the same.
