“The spines of thousands are being strengthened by hearing of your fight” – A Supporter’s Message
A Combat Tactics Instructor Pilot’s advice: “You are not alone. You can make a profound difference… Bow, kneel, grovel… you will dissolve into obscurity.”
There was a natural inclination, when colleagues and others at Cornell Law School twisted and distorted my words to try to isolate me and damage my reputation, to think it was about me.
Alinsky Rule 13. “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.
Once I went public with what was happening, and the isolation ended, it didn’t take long for me to realize that it’s not about me.
It’s about the dozens of students and many hundreds of others who have written to me, thanking me for speaking up because they can’t. And it’s for the millions of others who have followed these events on TV, radio, social media, and websites, and for whom the fear of a career-ending false accusation of racism is too great, so they are bullied into silence.
A consistent theme is that they are grateful for the people who are able to give voice to what so many are thinking, but can’t say out loud given the current political climate. I was shocked by the outpouring. Yes, I expected support in the comment section from readers, but nothing approaching the groundswell that occurred. Something is happening below the media radar.
This evolution in my thinking was captured in an email from a Combat Tactics Instructor Pilot, accompanied by the iconic image from Tiananmen Square. He heard about what what happening and sent his email of support, followed up with this note:
Heard you on Ben Shapiro’s show last night, and was so hurt and angry by your shared experience; a little voice inside me told me I had to write you, encourage you. The words wrote themselves as I started to type. It was like I wasn’t doing the typing.
Only today did I realize you are “THAT” William Jacobson, “That” Legal Insurrection. I listen to Mark Levin (my hero) when driving home from work. Mark Levin has mentioned you a few times in the past. Didn’t make the connection until today, I simply thought you were a fellow Instructor; being attacked and on the ropes, and hoped to encourage you.
Here is his email to me (personally identifying information removed).
Combat Theology – a Combat Pilot’s perspective during trying times
Don’t cave to them.
You are not alone.
You can make a profound difference.
Sir,
When you are in Combat; far from the target; there is rarely a shot fired against you.
When you are (Air Force term ) “on the Run In, to the OA” (Objective Area) that is when you know you are in the right area… SAM shots, AAA gunfire…everything the Adversary has, comes at you. Not solely to destroy, but often, simply attempt to distract you off target.
Distraction can lead to mission failure, as much as Destruction.
But, you are a warrior, you have trained your whole life for this moment, and you are on the Run In.
You are on the Run In, and you have Top Cover. People, Prayers, Angels, the Earth itself is a witness to your Courage. You will not die 1000 deaths; you will taste of death but once. The Top Cover overhead are like F15 Strike Eagles. You can’t see them, can’t hear them at 45,000ft; but the Eagles are there, and they will “Cry ‘Havok’ and loose the Dogs of War;” not now, but at the right time. To defeat the adversary when their tools, at their disposal, are the most effective. Not on your desires, not on your timing; but on moment when they know their weapons are the most effective; to protect you. ‘For the weapons of our warfare are divinely powered, for the destruction of fortresses.’
The spines of thousands are being strengthened, by hearing of your fight.
You are NOT ALONE.
Before tonight, I never heard of you. If you had equivocated prior to this point, you would have still been destroyed by the people who want you to pander to them; and you would have dissolved into obscurity.
But, you fought for righteousness. The rule of law, the Constitution and Bill of Rights. For the Ethos of Dr Martin L King, … you fight for Content of Character.
You stood, seemingly alone, in the breach.
But you are not alone. We are with you.
I am with you – Fangs Out and Full Speed, I am coming; and with you even now.
Bow, kneel, grovel… you will dissolve into obscurity.
Make them seemingly kill you; and the eggs and smears and brutality they throw at you, will be a mantle of Honor you wear into eternity.
Use their leaders and their words to defeat them. Fight like Sun Tzu, fight with asymmetric warfare; expose the rot they expound, with Frédéric Bastiat – the Law…. show their decayed ideas and words are NOT NEW: decaying and failing for the last 200 years; and being renamed, rehashed and repacked: Orwellian; Gestapo; Tribal and Animal Farm-brutal.
You stand, seemingly alone, in the breach. But you are not alone.
I am with you – Fangs Out and Full Speed. Dropping my external tanks; so I can gain extra speed, extra maneuverability; unguarding the Weapons Release switches. I am coming, a Warrior Poet, with an army of angels and prayers. Reaching Mach1, and the turbine blades in my engines glow cherry red, while the Tach gauge red-lines at 103%
I am coming. I am the prayers of strangers. I am the Almighty; who sees all and judges the Heart.
I put Daniel’s heart in the scales, to see if he would kneel to images of gold; but he chose lions; and therefore I was with him. I put David’s heart in the scales; to see if he would kneel to a giant. Three small stones. Smooth and round. Symmetric, and elegant in their simplicity. The sword was too heavy, the armor too clumsy. David fought his fight, he won because he fought on his terms and didn’t fight the way the others wanted him to: friends and foe alike. I was with him. Three smooth stones. He didn’t kneel; so I was with him. I Am with you.
…and I’m with you as well.
Fangs Out and Full Speed,
LtCol X.
Combat Tactics Instructor Pilot; and your friend.

Thanks for standing up to tyranny for all of us Professor.
I believe that when this is all over, that having stood for truth and integrity, your stand will be important to all Americans.
Yes.
The only spines not being strengthened are the GOP’s.
That organization is a pox upon us. It’s so corrupted it must be destroyed and replaced. There is NO WAY to undo that rat’s next.

Is that possible to cheat more for the Dems?
With the DEMS. YES.
If you’re not yourself a political pervert, there are an unlimited number of cheats and cons and other crimes which will literally never occur to you.
But they’re easy for Democrats.
So watch for the unexpected.
Obviously they often signal what they’re up to because part of the program is to blame their opponents of similar crimes. But this isn’t always reliable. They never claimed the Republicans were trying to ruin the US economy, for instance, yet Dem governors across the country have tried (using The Virus as cover), and are still at it.

Oh, and to LtCol D. –
Well and truly said!
The man surely has a gift.
He needs to write a book.
God bless you, Lt. Col X, for your eloquence and strength.
God bless you, Prof., for yours!
We are with you!
That is one of the most inspiring things I’ve read, ever. It’s even more so coming from an air combat veteran. Never think a pilot is above the fray at altitude. He’s in the thick of it, out in the open with nothing to hide behind for cover. He (she) has plenty of offense and defense, passive and active, but no rocks or trees to block incoming rounds.
The late husband of a cousin was a USAF veteran of air combat in Korea. There is a picture of him standing on a flight line beside his F-86 with bullet holes clearly visible in the vertical stabilizer. Everybody who knew him had a tremendous amount of respect for him. RIP, COL Mike.
Professor, you’re getting shot at but you’ll not be shot down. Drop your tanks, arm your weapons, and have at it.
.
This has moved me to tears. G_d bless LtCol D and you, Professor. Coming on the heels of the Gibson’s Bakery case this point is especially true,
“But, you fought for righteousness. The rule of law, the Constitution and Bill of Rights. For the Ethos of Dr Martin L King, … you fight for Content of Character.
You stood, seemingly alone, in the breach.
But you are not alone. We are with you.”
Don’t ever debase yourself to these degenerate racist scumbags.
Like pelosi? Like obama did before every world dictator? (That’s why he just might be on a new box of rice, as Uncle Bendover.)
Btw, obama’s ‘bowing’ was training for ‘knee-taking’.
Pelosi is part of the sea of scum, and she’s not ‘bending’ to anyone: she’s taking.
“Uncle Bendover”
🙂
The reason America’s enemies cannot allow dissent is that the more intelligent ones realize they are wrong.
They are wrong because their views clash strongly with reality, both on a factual level (e.g., a man is not a woman, socialism does not work) and on a moral level (e.g., their ideas destroy human happiness, and their social prescriptions destroy healthy societies).
Any open discussion would reveal that their ideas are false and destructive, so open discussion must be banned as “hate.” Anyone who dares to violate the ban must be intimidated into silence, which can then be passed off as consent.
The less intelligent of America’s enemies fall into one or the other of two groups.
The larger group actually believes the nonsense it has been taught, since it fulfills a religious impulse that is shared by most people. Having discarded God-centered religion, they embraced an even more fantastic “social justice” religion of nihilism, emotion, and destruction. The smaller group doesn’t believe, but wants a few slogans to justify indulging in the common but tragic human impulse for mindless destruction.
For different reasons than those of the intelligent, neither of the useful-idiot groups can allow debate, either. The first group sees debate as heresy. The second group sees as ruining the fun in their orgy of savagery. You, Prof. Jacobson, stand convicted of being a party-pooper.
Conservative economists would argue that “in the long run,” a movement completely at odds with reality must burn itself out. And that’s true. But the movement can do one hell of a lot of destruction before it burns out, so stopping it — “BAMN,” as the Communists like to say — seems like a wiser choice.
The GOP mantra is “It is never EVER the right time to do the right thing.”
The GOP, the party of invertebrates. Pathetic.
I love this message. And I would like to add one of my own. I was with the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment in Germany. Our Moto was “Always Ready” At the time just prior to the break up of the Soviet Union we were constantly on alert. The Soviets were constantly probing the border for weakness.
Our duty was to hold the Fulda Gap. Our life expectancy if combat happened was 72 hours. 72 hours until the Military’s of Europe were mobilized. Knowing this we would still shout at the end of formation “Always ready”
Sir you are standing in the Gap. Your troupes are behind you ready to fight. “ALWAYS READY, SIR”
I am currently on the social media site Parler. I am referring people to your site. And I invite you to join and meet more people who are “Ready” to stand behind you.

What a sinister, evil character he is.
For the longest time I was not in favor of the benefits that come with tenure on the college campus. My basis was, that it was shade given to professors who could on their laurels. The bad instructors became protected, the check and balance system didn’t exist anymore.
However, in the last few years I have opened up to concept, high quality people can’t be rooted out just because their viewpoints aren’t in line with the mob. The ability to stand up to political correctness is more important than ever.
self edit, rest on their laurels
Yes, a lot of people are out there sick and tired of these antifascist/antiracist racist-fascists. Hypocrisy exemplified….we are with you, and at the point where a lawsuit may be necessary, there is a groundswell of silent people willing to support you.
There is a problem with the analogy. In the military we organize, plan, and train for the “run in.” When we make our attack, or defend our position, we know how much and what type of top cover we have, and how effective it is likely to be. We have coordinated its actions before hand with planning. We know how to communicate with our top cover and shift action in response to the changing circumstances. We are also trained and equipped for our part.
As it now stands, only the fascist, here and now, are well organized, trained, equipped, and executing a deliberate plan. Those who resist for freedom, however, are in now way correspondingly prepared, and so the professor is, indeed, alone in his fight, which makes his stance even more inspiring and heroic.
If you do not like what is going on, follow the professor’s lead. It’s time to get off the couch and enlist in the fight. Get organized. Make a plan. Fight back.
It is not an analogy it is a message of encouragement. It is a message of support. A good man is embroiled in a ridiculous controversy and we are saying that no matter the outcome as long as he stands for the truth we support him and he is not alone.
Oh and some of us can no longer stand and fight. So we encourage those who do.
A thousand times, Amen
Professor Jacobson
Greetings from India..I have nothing to offer you but my words of moral support. You are doing something invaluable. Academia is the refuge of the fascists..I refuse to call them liberal or American because they are neither.
I graduated from SUNY Buffalo 18 years ago with a M.S degree in Computer Science.thankfully i didn’t come across leftist professors back then even though Lyndon LaRouche newsletters were available for free.
While your fight against fascism might be lonely it is much needed. It exposes students to true diversity of thought, not the fake diversity of the fascists.
Keep fighting the good fight.Good luck and God Bless.
This topic touches too close to home for me.
I have so much to say that I don’t know where to start, or where to end.
What is happening is terrifying. The good news is that we can stop it. The bad news is that if we don’t stop it NOW we will not be able to stop it later.
We know what they are doing and how they are doing it. They come for us one at a time, making it look like they have overwhelming power. They don’t. It may seem like it because it’s all of them against one of us, and this time it is the good Professor they are bullying.
So the one thing we can do is push back as one. Mess with one, you are messing with all of us. But we can’t do it if we do not get together. There has to be an initiative, and some leadership, to bring together all the Conservative groups and organizations that now operate in isolation.
We need a unique front. We don’t have to agree in anything beyond the fact that the left is right now making a push to destroy everything we believe in. The left is our common enemy. Let’s destroy them and then we can go back to addressing our differences.
Wow. Now THAT is inspiring. Thank you Lt Col., and thank you Prof J.
Who Dares Wins.

The leftilibrals disturb the deep waters of the American heart at their peril. They mistake our slowness to anger and longsuffering for weakness. Like typical bullies they will flee whenever the odds should turn against them.
It just drives home the point that it’s not an exaggeration to say you are doing the Lord’s work here. I don’t know about others, but these times make me think of biblical prophecies.
Now that email needs to go viral! Let it be the battle cry for decent Americans who’ve had enough.
Do you know who else you are speaking and standing up for, Professor?
You’re speaking up for the couple in their 70s who filed a report at our station.
The husband is a college professor. He can’t hear himself think. He’s having trouble carrying on his online classes with his students. Why?
Because the black couple living next door won’t let him. How?
Their Jeep is parked in their driveway. There is a flag with a black fist protruding from the Jeep. Music is blaring from the Jeep every day from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. in “support of the movement.”
The couple have asked their neighbors repeatedly to turn off the music. The couple refused. Officers went to the house and asked them to turn off the music and again the couple refused.
What makes it all the more ridiculous is that the area where they’re living is a very nice area. They are obviously doing well in the America they seem to hate.
I am very sensitive to noise, so I can’t imagine trying to work from home having a neighbor intentionally blaring music for 14 hours straight every day from just outside my home.
It’s people like this couple in their seventies who are suffering from the melodramatic revolutionary delusions of their arrogant and uncaring neighbors for whom you fight. Their troubles will never make the news. Their problem is comparatively unimportant. But I would bet there are thousands upon thousands of innocent people in exasperating situations who are miserable right now for no fault of their own.
We have a generation of young people who’ve been brainwashed in the universities with “intersectionality” and “critical race theory” and the like. We rolled our eyes. We should’ve found a way to nip it in the bud. It’s graduated from the universities and entered mainstream culture now.
This is Dunkirk.
Let your refusal to bend the knee be our Dunkirk, Professor Churchill.
We, your readers, will be all the little boats.
Great message (and metaphors), LHC.
“What makes it all the more ridiculous is that the area where they’re living is a very nice area. They are obviously doing well in the America they seem to hate.”
Either that or they are being funded.
Update:
An officer asked me today to help him find reports filed on this case because it has reached the Chief of Police. Officers have been called to the scene over 40 times.
The husband of the couple disturbing the peace is a former NFL professional football player.
I quickly read the most recent report and a group of his friends had come to his house and hooked up “party speakers” to blast the music even louder.
Have them get big speakers. Play opera. Really loud, really bad opera.
I wonder where the power source for that music is.
In California we had a solidly middle to upper class economically couple across the street from us in El Cajon. They had a nephew or cousin or some such come stay with them for (what was supposed to be) a few weeks. This was new subdivision, built to the new California building codes with electric boxes on the outside so in case if fire or earthquake- first responders could turn off power in the house. Well, young guest while the owners were at work (an apparently foreign concept to him) decided that he wanted to play his music loud enough for the neighbors to hear clearly. Well, first neighbor went over asked him to turn it down. Other neighbors watched. He laughed and shut the door. A half hour later, his power went out. Stayed out until the owner came home and wanted to know why the power was out. Guest didn’t know about the outside box. Next day the house lost power twice. He complained to the owner, who came around to as. I didn’ know nuthin about how he blew the main circuit breaker, but did mention the loud music from the house. Next day he was on his way back to LA.
Never to be the Fresh Prince of El Cajon.
It is past time for the Senate to pass a resolution detailing the abuses of the left and the Pelosi attempt to destroy America using Soros’ proxies. Why she thinks millionaire old white women like her will survive the purge she has set free is beyond my understanding, but McConnell has sat for too long on his hands.
My real name is Evan Plumlee, for whatever that’s worth. I tend to approach the internet shrouded in anonymity. Now is not the time for that.
Although I use a pseudonym when I troll, I am hardly anonymous. Everyone at LI knows who I am and where I live. Some of my fellow trolls know too. I started that way for professional reasons. I can be put out of business very easily. I don’t want to make it easy for the commies. As it is, I don’t think it will make any difference if they force all the blog sites to shutdown commenting and start going after all of us anonymous or not. I’m trying to stay in the game and will to “hit the streets” when the time comes.
Professor, you are the only one standing boldly these days. Yesterday, Tucker Carlson ranted about how “No one attempted to stop Democratic power grab”. He especially excoriated the GOP and the all-talk “conservatives”.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWmw3IzdDVQ
I’ve been screaming that for months (years?) now. There IS no Republican Party. What happened to all of those tough-talking conservatives. Not only have they not stepped up, they SHUT up.
Why can’t the police take advantage of their solid support in their own communities? Use the 2nd Amendment that so many of us are prepared for! What better way to have a “well-regulated” militia than working with the police? Talk about a force multiplier! We’re here! We’re with you! Talk to us!
Why can’t we organize a nationwide campaign to swarm on stores and everywhere else without wearing our masks while ignoring social distancing? How hard would that be? Who among us would NOT join in? Who COULD stop us?
What is wrong with us? It just shouldn’t be this hard.
It is reminding me of the Cornell that I saw when in high school in Interlaken, about 20 miles north, from ’68 to ’72, and why I chose to enlist in the USAF rather than attend Cornell (where after nearly a year in electronics school, I was assigned to the Strategic Air Command). Thank you for sharing the letter, which I have shared on F.B. I think it should be an inspiration to those who love this country, faults and all, and strike fear in the radical progressives that would destroy it.
Agree wholeheartedly prof. I gave $100 to the foundation and encourage others too as well. You Prof Reynolds, powerline are all the stand in the breach. We lost HA, so sad. I loved Ed’s old site Captains Quarters.
Our winged avenger —
Just as warriors find Ares aloft,
Focused, so his warring bird’s armor clangs for battle —
Finds his, our, no less His friend
And champion in the breach,
But hardly alone, rather joined,
Brave and determined;
So supported, reason, set loose,
Will rule in the finding of true facts,
And justice will attain — it indeed
Will follow; and the free heart
Will rejoice de novo, sua sponte,
As all free hearts, reborn, are wont to do.
And farewell, brother of high angels —
Winged and ferocious, brave and daring leader of Eagles.
Go get ’em, Professor, we’re all here, with you, feeling the Source, which may be your autopilot; and the rule of law, perhaps being your compass. In these, and in you, we trust.
We are with each other, even though it doesn’t always feel that way. God speed in your fight for all of us.
We don’t need to fight the whole fight. That is the point of grassroots resistance. Pick a patch and defend it. For example, I have to do a diagonal trek across my neighborhood a couple of times a day, 11 blocks EW, 5 blocks NS. Rather than take the short line, I make it a loop, and all four border roads are major travel routes. I take it upon myself to clear the public space of all BLM and defund police signs, etc. Yes, public space. Tons of private houses and businesses have these signs up, but I do not cross onto private property, because then I would be no better than “the others.” Telephone poles and the like though are fair game. I do the in-bound side of the road in the evening, and the outbound side in the morning, thus clearing the stuff prior to it being viewed by commuters. What I have noticed is that less new stuff appears, because whoever puts it up realizes the very short half-life. Our enemy is composed of 1% paid provocateurs and 99% useful idiots. They provide cover for the others. Discourage them from participating and the paid agents are exposed. So I make it a point to go after the low hanging fruit simply to decrease numbers. What I have noticed is that I am not the only one doing it. I see very few flyers around town anymore, because more people are dealing with it on the ground level. One route was plastered on a trip out and on the return leg all had been removed, so others who are not me are fed up as well. This helps me deal with the frustration in a productive way, and as I have been inspired, it helps me inspire others to know that they aren’t alone. I know that my newspaper box meme messages appear futile, but if I change a few minds, and others doing similar stuff change a few minds, it adds up. Comparing BLM to the the Taliban or Khmer Rouge puts it in a whole different perspective, ditto with “George Floyd was a drug addict felon.” Maybe he didn’t deserve what he ended up with, but make no mistake, he was the one who bought the ticket for that ride. Ditto for taser boy. I keep it to the facts, because they can’t argue with the facts without discrediting themselves.
Comparing BLM to the the Taliban or Khmer Rouge puts it in a whole different perspective
From where I’m sitting, they seem more like the Klan.
Without re-education of young people, forget it.
Their heads are filled with such bizarre “facts”, and their souls so corrupted, they will never snap out of it until we show them the light.
Our greatest obstacle is our own political party, the GOP. It’s rat’s next, and must be destroyed and replaced.
“Their heads are filled with such bizarre ‘facts’, and their souls so corrupted, they will never snap out of it until we show them the light.”
People cannot be shown the light unless/until they are ready to see it themselves. Think about how many abused partners (women and/or men) stay in relationships despite the advice of their friends and family.
They will snap out of it once they realize they are being exploited and once they start being attacked from the inside. And even then, it will be difficult for them to get out.
In the meantime, they are stuck in Stockholm Syndrome.
They’ve had it too easy. They need to experience the hell they have enabled.
As far as I’m concerned, that’s the very reason CHAZ/CHOP exists, and that we should continue to allow it to exist.
Now, if we could only stop the communist mayor from running taxpayer-funded supplies into the “far from autonomous” zone week in and week out.
Here’s one example of the un-educated KKKollege students.

All levels of our education system have corrupted young minds, and this continues. One example is elementary children being told that they are innately racist.
Let me repeat, humanity continued to evolve, producing groups which are much smarter that the original humans. Being smarter or duller is no ones fault, it simply is reality.
We do not yet have the ability to to level the playing field, but if we honestly steer people to appropriate nitches, such that each person fulfils their innate abilities, then people will have productive lives.
The problem is that political correctness dictated that we promote people beyond their capabilities, and that we must pretend that they are equal where they are not.
Promoted Beyond….
Oh! Obama’s Peter Principle!
It’s time to take back the schools. Run for seats on the School Board or School Committee. Become a teacher. Yes, you may have to be less than honest about your political beliefs to get hired in the government schools. Yes, you might have to “teach” their lies formally in class but informally you can engrain in your students the notion that it is okay to question what you read in books because those books may not be totally honest.
My experience is that those who can teach.
Those who cannot teach become coaches.
Eventually they become administrators.
Washed up jocks in education are usually contemporary examples of the Peter Principle.
As demonstrated at Oberlin College.
Incompetent, dishonest and sorry examples of humanity.
To change the mind, there must first be a change of heart. Nothing crushes the reason flatter than the heavy stone that is a hardened heart.
The leftilibrals’ siren songs capture the hearts of many. That almost all of them are lies barely matters. Young people naturally trend toward the romantic and the rebellious. They’re attracted to the beautiful lie and repulsed by the ugly truth.
Finally got though the password battle and commenting for the first time though lurked here since the beginning of the blog.
Have tried many times before on subjects but couldn’t get through, this time thought its life or death so to speak and had to.
You are doing fantastic work here, fight as long as you can.
God Bless you Professor: You’re in the thick of history, and the multitudes you’re speaking for are throughout the land.
I have tried writing to you, Professor, several times, but the attempts seem inadequate because I have not yet devised a method of true support.
I am afraid, deeply afraid. My neighbors in our village in the shadow of Cornell’s clock tower feel impelled to litter their yards with BLM signs. In their self-proclaimed virtue, that seems not to conflict with pulling down statues of the heroes of bygone years, beating people mercilessly, torching people’s livelihoods, and destroying local supermarkets so young mothers can’t feed their children. Yesterday I looked into an urgently earnest face belonging to a young woman who was waving one of those posters–a very large one–and that face did not look sane. What keeps coming to my mind are the warnings of Aleksandr Solzhenitzyn in his Gulag Archipelago. Here is one:
“In keeping silent about evil, in burying it so deep within us that no sign of it appears on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousand fold in the future. When we neither punish nor reproach evildoers, we are not simply protecting their trivial old age, we are thereby ripping the foundations of justice from beneath new generations.”
I wonder if your village neighbors are also afraid, believing that the lawn signs will somehow protect them from who-knows-what.

This video, straight from the horse’s mouth about them being marxist, needs to be shared far and wide. Perhaps then some will end their support of blm.
Here’s another tidbit. Apparently, another blm founder was trained by a former Weather Underground (terror org) member.

You have indeed been given a divine blessing, the opportunity to stand for God, against Satan, and to display courage.
For whatever it’s worth, I would also like to express my support and would be happy to sign any petition to that effect, if such were appropriate and desired.
So inspiring. Thank you.
When they ask for your answer, tell them the destruction of diversity in the name of conformity is not an option.
The problem is that they are too dumb to care.
Why answer?
Who said they will ask. That would mean they are competent with the English language. Of course, there is always one in the crowd, and they might just ask.
Holy Smoke! I wish I was that eloquent!
My wife’s company put out one of those groveling e-blasts that are coming from the woke.
She resigned.
The insanity of this all is that the people who scream “White Privilege” are exercising “Black Privilege” by trying to coerce and shame non-Blacks into agreeing with their stated principles and goals.
The insanity of this all is that the people who scream “Racist” are themselves Racists by blaming non-Blacks for blood-libel, for starters, and again trying to coerce and shame us into agreeing with their statements and fallacious or straw-man arguments, else face attacks, purges, de-platforming, censorship, and more.
The insanity of this all is that the majority of those executing this attack will not accept that many of their martyrs and victims have been responsible for their own messes, individually and collectively.
The insanity of this all is not unlike the desire of Leftists and Progressives and Socialists to tax all wage earners to the fullest extent so that they can subsidize the parasites (and the few truly needy, of course). We all know that redistributing wealth will only motivate more to drop out and suckle at the teat of Uncle Sanders, and will demotivate the successful from feeding the beast. The racial socioeconomic and political insanity we are faced with will not be solved by caving to all the demands. Say we all wash the feet of Blacks, we all change our vocabulary, we all purge any and all images and icons, offensive or not, we self-flagellate for crying out loud. We do all this and will it change the Racist culture that some black families and communities cultivate? Will it change the crime and decay in Chicago and other large Democrat-run metropolitan areas?
What magic changes will happen? More importantly, if these changes can happen when we roll over, submit and dry up, then why the hell can’t they happen now? Spontaneously? Without the theater, the rage, the Black Privilege, the Black-on-White Racism?
If we all die, right now, all the crap will vanish like in a “Twilight Zone” episode? Fuck no. Fuck the insanity of all this.
“exercising “Black Privilege” by trying to coerce and shame non-Blacks into agreeing with their stated principles and goals.”
I would say unprincipled goals.
They can kiss my…….
The proportion of privileged elites (defined as people of high education and income) has been increasing at a geometric rate, while the proportion of oppressed minorities for them to lead has been decreasing at an arithmetic rate.… As the supply of oppressed minorities was decreasing, the demand for them was increasing… . To justify its aspirations for leadership, therefore, the privileged elite has a vested interest in crying (that society is) foul…Injustice in America grows apparently in direct proportion to efforts to alleviate it…The beauty of the search for the oppressed is that it generates its own growth.
Wildavsky calculated that 374 percent of the American population could be counted among the oppressed. Start with consumers, oppressed by corporations, according to Ralph Nader, and you reach 100 percent, and then add women—51 percent of the population—whom feminism claims to be oppressed, and you’re over 150 percent before you begin with racial minorities and other standard classifications. Today Wildavsky’s methodology would probably yield an estimate of oppression that reaches 600 percent of the population.

This latest attack on the good professor is indeed very personal and meant to be so because he’s simply the highest profile anti-Marxist scholar on social media.
Under the pressure of an emotional and mostly hostile audience at Cambridge Union, Buckley get his composure and was nearly unflappable in his debate with a highly effective moral preacher, James Baldwin.
Quite aside from the issues under debate, I noted that it didn’t bother him to have lost the vote (3-1). He was most proud that in spite of the mob that “I didn’t give them one god damn inch”.
THAT stuck with me. Among the hostile mob you never, ever, give them one god damned inch. If you lose, you can be proud that you did what what any man of principle and integrity does – he apologizes for nothing.
Do elsewise and like any prey that yields in front of wolves, the wolves will feast till gorged on your corpse.
You have our full backing, and its overdue that conservatives everywhere stand on their hind legs and fight…as relentlessly and ruthlessly as the enemy fights.

Mark,
When you type, I think I can hear your unique voice, through your written words.
If this is the Mark I think it is, I have your books, and just wanted to say Thank You for teaching me about the Constitution and more importantly the historical context of how and why the Framers, Federalists and anti-Federalists put together such a beautiful framework in perfect balance.
I’ve learned more about the Constitution from hearing you, than from all the time I was in various Colleges, combined.
Best regards

Extremely good. Prof. Jacobson, you know this already. I’ve been telling people I don’t need to help you, because you’ve been through all this already, unlike others. I’m going to be writing up my own story for a fall FIRE conference. You probably already know of my LESSONS page at http://www.rasmusen.org/special/2019kerfuffle/lessons.htm
with practical tips.

Sign the petition to fire his cowardly dean at http://chng.it/8BgJgTCn. I think it’s being throttled this past day, from the sharp change in signatures added– it’s only up to 850 or so.
Chicago’s Harald Uhlig JPE situation will flame up again soon, I think. I have plans there but want to give the faculty a chance to do the right thing and defend their man themselves.
Bostock and In re Flynn are going at the same time. On Bostock, see https://www.rasmusen.org/blog1/is-the-bostock-case-fraud-on-the-court-and-void/. There’s a scandal in the original case just remanded, at district court, way back in the pleadings, that has not been widely noted yet. I might want to file a pro se Rule 11 motion on it.
Professor Jacobson,
The Air Warrior who wrote that message speaks for ALL of us. We ARE your “Top Cover” and know you stand in the name of righteousness. You speak in the spirit of Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and the MILLIONS of like-minded Americans.
We fly or sail with Fangs Out ready to stand beside you come what may.
I heard Greg Gutfeld and a couple others whom I respect say you have to listen to Sam Harris’ podcast about this.
They were right. But also, like they said, you have to ignore the de rigueur Trump bashing he engages in in the beginning to establish his liberal bona fides to get to the important part.
So I listened to it. They were right. But it’s almost 2 hours long and he speaks very slowly.
But I just found a link which has the entire transcript as well as a link to the podcast.
I started to post excerpts here but there are just too many good parts.

Keep up the good fight, professor. You are not alone. We are on your left and right with our shields high.
Be strong professor. It is in the lineage of the left to silence the opposition; ad hominem, lies, censorship, threats, ‘doxing,’ blackmail and extortion, thuggery, violence: from Woodrow Wilson, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, the KKK, CP US, publishing companies, the entertainment industries, ideo-academia, dem/media complex, big tech and the fed. gov’t.
Tell you something easy you can do to show support for the police. Right now morale is very low. They feel like everybody hates them and they are being unfairly demonized. They loathe the media. They know the truth. The numbers don’t lie. A look at the statistics shows the police are NOT racist. But you all know that. But, just like Professor Jacobson can say “I’m not racist” until he’s blue in the face, the police feel like nobody will listen.
I’m at the station now. Already three separate families have stopped by the couple hours I’ve been here with food and thank you cards for our officers. We have trays of lasagna and pizzas and pastries, etc., in the break room right now. And the thank you cards are all standing on one of the tables.
Believe me, just the people saying “We’re on your side and thank you for all you do” means 1,000 times more to them than the food (although the officers do love to walk into the break room after a difficult call they’ve been on to see they don’t have to try and rustle up some food before they have to go out on their next call).
It’s not hard to get some food, write a nice card, and come by and offer words of support.
It means a lot to the officers.
I did this after 9/11, wrote “thank you” cards for our local PD and FD and walked it up there. I was living in Massachusetts at the time, and a lot of our guys (and girls) were working shifts down in NYC.
After the intense anti-cop hatred that spewed forth during the Obama administration, I made it a point to let every cop I saw know of my support for them. They all just nodded and smiled indulgently since I now live in NW Florida and they are not under the same kind of duress here as in other parts of the country. That said, a “thank you” and a friendly smile are never unwelcome no matter where you live and how deep red your county or state.
That’s great Fuzzy. We had Charo (remember her from the 1960s “Goochi Goochi!”) stop in one day. I remembered seeing her on a couple talk shows on TV as a kid and didn’t think much of her. But she’s a lovely lady and very supportive of the police.
We have a mentally handicapped woman in her thirties who lives nearby who stops in every few days to talk to the officers at the front desk because they are so friendly and loving towards her. Sometimes she’ll be in the lobby for hours and the officers are very busy and stressed out to the max. But they keep talking to her sweetly and encouraging her when she shows them pictures she has drawn and other things. They’ll be trying to do 5 things at once but you’ll hear them say “Lori, that’s a beautiful picture you drew. Do you want a snack from the vending machine?” It really warms your heart.
Good idea. I’ll give it a whirl.
Professor, you got guts. Everybody admires guts. Thanks for your sterling example.

Stay strong, Professor. I can’t do much but I send some $ to the Foundation the other day and I will make that part of my year-end giving. Not one god damned inch…..
There was a time when your colleagues would be lined up, outside your office, as a show of support. The fact that I’m not hearing about that indicates to me you’re not getting a lot of support from them. I’m sure they’re going to try and make it tough on you. Stand your ground and fight back because they never give up and you can’t either. If you do, they win and believe their tactics are sound.
Professor Williamson, Thank you for your rightful and justified resolve.I agree with the Lt. Colonel advice:
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles”. This is how we fight, intent on winning.
