The Frontier Center releases a new report based on in-depth values-research interviews with female Trump supporters who attended the NH rally.

I saw Anne at CPAC 2015, and in the course of our discussions, I asked Anne who she liked among the many rumored presidential candidates. She said Donald Trump.
I was like, what is that all about? He’s never going to run, he always teases, and anyway, Trump? Seriously? She was serious. She said, look, he’s the one. She was insistent not only that Trump would run but that he’d win. It seemed totally incredible.
By that point I’d known Anne for a while, and considered her a friend. I could tell she wasn’t joking. That she knew something I didn’t. But it still seemed so other-worldly, that even after Trump took the famous escalator ride at Trump Tower to announce, I didn’t give it any credit.
That was then, this is now. President-elect Trump saw something in the mood of the nation, and captured that lightning in a bottle.

In 2020, President Trump’s female champions are empowered and energized to fight for the man they say is successfully driving back progressivism and providing leadership for their own lives, according findings from The Frontier Center’s “Outsiders, Together” deep values study.
This update to The Frontier Center’s 2016 report on why women support Trump shows this segment has been confirmed in their initial judgment to support him.
Four deep values explain why these women will fight for President Trump in 2020:
- Community is affirmed as everyone prospers.
- Peace of Mind that he is authentic and a fighter, (which is why he is the only one who can drain the Swamp).
- His accessibility (Twitter) to them and visible association with shunned causes and people shows he is Relatable and they share a value for Anti-Elitism.
- Exuberance of Freedom at having been proven right–again–as his policies reap rewards for the economy and women adopt his bravery in standing up to their own cultural “bullies.”

The top 3 priorities women said President Trump should deliver in a second term:
1. Border security/build wall
2. Continue to build the economy/ create jobs
3. Fix government corruption and drain the swamp
Women furthermore expressed a desire that Trump “hold politicians accountable for attacking him for three years,” an attitude rather than a policy and a theme that continued throughout the research interviews.
And to answer the ages-old question as to whether Trump should stop tweeting, his female supports say “Don’t Stop”!:
He continues to be seen as authentic and a fighter, both aspects of why he can drain the Swamp and why he is an example to them for how to live their own lives in a microcosm of this fight. His accessibility (via Twitter, attendance at rallies, and overall demeanor) is an asset.

You’ve written this often. It depends on who you mean by “anyone else.” It seemed pretty damn obvious all along that DJT would win, both because he was the only one of either party who was actually saying something, and—more importantly, and regardless of issues—he’s the sort of candidate women would vote for. They did it in 2016, and they’ll do it for the same reason in 2020. All bloody obvious. Though of course I remember the TDS here as elsewhere; thick enough to cut with a chainsaw, at least in the early days.
I was pro-Cruz up until the moment Trump became inevitable. But I was ABC – anyone but Clinton all along. Trump was the realistic Clinton alternative so I filled in the circle for him to vote against her. Heinlein’s adage – “You can always find someone to vote against.”
This year I’ll be filling in the circle to vote for Trump, not to vote against the Democrat. Though the vote has the same effect either way….
I was pretty much the same. I wasn’t an enthusiastic Trump voter, but figured he was infinitely better than Clinton. Now I am a total Trump supporter. I’m even OK with his tweets. Often he says things that need to be said and the media won’t say it.
I don’t know anyone else predicting and insisting on a Trump win in March 2015, three months before he even declared he was running.
When did Anne Coulter? I know that she did, but I honestly cannot remember when.
Mark Taylor predicted a Trump win in 2016 in 2012. But, he might be a no-name crackpot.

Hmmmm, I thought women were a monolithic voting bloc and the issues this bloc cares about are abortion, social justice, the environment, universal health care, and other things average liberal upper middle class suburbanite women and various celebrities consider to be important. Oh, and that Trump is a pig.

On a more serious note, I live in a state without party registration and on paper, based on things like age, marital status, where I live, etc, you’d think I should be voting Democrat. The mail that clogged my mailbox every election from the Democrats and assorted other organizations for about 6 or 7 years proved it (and I live in a state that has elections every year). The mailings have slowed down considerably in the past couple years, though. Now I’m started to get unsolicited text messages from campaigns.
Women, men, too, do care about abortion, the fifth choice, Pro-Choice, the wicked solution. Women do care about social justice anywhere is injustice everywhere. Women do care about the environment, green, conservation, not Green [blight], environmentalism. Women do care about universal health care, affordable and available, not grand single/central schemes that obfuscate the goal. And, no, women are not a color bloc, and we should be wary of anyone who peddles diversity doctrine.
I don’t disagree with you. The point I was sarcastically attempting to make is that the things I listed are supposed to be the *only* things women care about, and the solutions to those issues are found on the left. The idea that women could (a) not agree with leftist orthodoxy on those issues; and (b) care about things like a robust economy, lower taxes, national security, and stomping out government corruption is unfathomable to a bunch of people.
The top 3 women’s priorities are also my priorities, and I’m a guy …. really.
Gosh, it’s almost like men and women share interests, isn’t it? Who knew?
