Protesters Attacked Trump Supporters, Threw Urine Outside Trump Minnesota Rally
Video shows Trump supporter being attacked after being followed by protesters, who shouted at him: “There’s a Nazi over here.”
The protests outside of President Donald Trump’s Minnesota rally took a violent turn as supporters left the Target Center.
I guess the supporters triggered the anti-Trump people just by their presence because they then burned Trump memorabilia like the MAGA hats, confronted the police, and threw urine.
The police “formed a protective line in front of the arena” to help the supporters leave the arena. They had to move through the crowd of protesters “with batons and shields” to protect themselves.

Cell phone video posted by Star Tribune reporter Chao Xiong showed Trump supporters walking through a crowd of protesters outside the Target Center in Minneapolis, shouting, “Lock him up” and “Shame on you.”
A reporter for The Washington Post posted a video on Twitter that appeared to show a protester punch a Trump supporter in the back of the head as he left the rally. The crowd can be heard shouting “Nazi scum! Off our streets!” The video shows a Trump supporter being followed by protesters before someone calls out “There’s a Nazi over here,” prompting the attack.
The apparent Trump supporter was also slapped and pushed before eventually running to safety.
A reporter with The St. Cloud Times confirmed someone threw urine. The protest got so out of hand the police had to use pepper spray.
One protester complained the police paid attention to the wrong group of people:
One woman WCCO spoke with last night was concerned by the number of police surrounding protesters. She felt officers were focusing on the wrong group.
“Right-wing extremism is the largest terrorist group around the world. It’s not ISIS. It is not left-wing liberals. It is right-wing extremists, which is the largest killer around the world and (the police) are facing towards the people who are concerned about that,” protester Keri Pickett said. “I think that’s a problem”
Okay, lady. Whatever you say. Let’s look at the video evidence, which proves your side deserved the police’s attention.

It is going to escalate until some Trump supporters are forced to use weapons to defend themselves. Once there are 10 or more antifas bleeding out on the ground, we will hear how terrible it is that alt-right goons attacked and shot the peace-loving Antifa protestors, and it will all be our fault. However, keep in mind where this event took place: outside a Trump rally starring the President himself.
IOW, a weapon-free zone, enforced by the Secret Service (who unlike the TSA, don’t f@#$ around with security).
If the President is on the premises, “protesters” know they will be facing disarmed people, and can do whatever they want with impunity.
It’s one of many grand ironies of being conservative. If you believe in the right of armed self-defense and support a candidate who believes the same, you will nevertheless have to disarm to attend a political rally for that candidate.
I’m okay with giving up my reputation in exchange for saving lives from Antifa goons.
Beg to disagree … if you shoot an attacking antifa in self defense, that’s a WIN in my book.
I am grateful that the Minneapolis acted to protect the rally attendees, despite its mayor being a rabid #NeverTrumper. They could have taken a hands-off approach to Antifa shenanigans, like Portland.

Things I’ve learned after watching antifa videos.
First, don’t get near an antifa event. Don’t wade into a pack of snarling dogs. It’s just the smart thing to do.
“but these innocent people were only exiting the rally!” Stay inside the venue. Wait it out.
Second, if you find yourself surrounded by antifa never ever allow them to knock you to the ground. Mind your footing. If they knock your hat off your head, leave it or you may find yourself sprawled out on the ground. If possible back into a solid wall so they can’t attack you from the rear or flank you. Cowards are emboldened a floored adversary and will fall on you like hyena on a wounded gazelle.
Alternatively, get a firm grip and drop the safety.

I watched the rally and what I saw was a very large and happy crowd.
It is just a shame these people came out to spoil what was probably a very memorable day for them.
Some Trump supporter who attended reported there were 20,000 people in side and another 20,000 outside the rally.

remember those days well–we regularly slugged it out on the west mall with the sds/black panties crew–good, clean fun–the campus police were brave men/women but because they wore uniforms/badges they couldn’t be seen as ” supporting ” our efforts–so afterwards they would round a few of us up and head downtown for a night in the drunktank to cool off–but the sds/black panties crew(for the most part, bussed in from out of town) kept getting smaller and smaller as word began to spread that, in austin, if they did something stupid or violent or both, they were going to get their asses kicked
