Trump’s 2019 State of the Union speech was comprehensive and contained a few surprises. One of the greatest moments was hearing Trump declare that America will never be a socialist country.
Let’s look at some of the other scenes as well.

The party of abortion, of welfare (and for more welfare), for illegal immigration, for drug use, for endless taxation, of regulating this and that, for Muslims whose very holy books call for the destruction of any/all non-Muslims especially the Jews. Democrats want total control of all education, and have largely been successful looking at the abject stupidity of growing numbers of Americans. Democrats favor gun control, and if they were really honest, total confiscation. So against the protected freedoms listed in the Bill of Rights Democrats want to curtail the freedom of speech.
And on and on it goes. And I sputter, along with others, “How do these people get elected?”

Fscarn, you are so right. And they want to give “free” college education so they can continue the brain-washing for another 4 to 5 or 6 years, and drown the students in student loan debt (which is unforgivable in bankruptcy courts now thanks to Obama).
One large city (in the top 50 largest) had its entire public school system have 78% of the schools receive an “F” on an evaluation. (My first thought was “D” is also failing. So how many of the schools also got a failing “D?” None of the worthless Fake News NPCs ever asked that or brought it up.)
The largest public college in that same city is giving “free” college to all students that have a least a “C” average upon graduation of HS. So that means they are giving free college to mainly F and D GPA students.
I’ve had relatives in that school district personally relate how they’ve had…… say…. a nephew who had to drop out of that college because the were only reading at 3rd grade level.
OF course when that college announced their “free” college plan, Hillary Clinton came swooping in on her big pollution spewing airplane to crow and ballyhoo it!

I’m glad Trump came out and declared Socialism to be the enemy of freedom. Whether it’s the Soviet Socialists in Russia, the National Socialists in Germany, or those in China, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, etc., socialism leads naturally to totalitarianism and economic ruin. How many times do we have to see people dominated by socialist dictators to know that socialism must never be allowed a foothold in the US?

So President DJT stakes out another position all our professional politicos are afraid to tackle.
His willingness to make an issue of the foreign criminal tsunami threatening to reduce the US to third-world pigsty status made him a serious—perhaps the only serious—contender in 2016, a standout in a field of wall-to-wall nebbishes unwilling to even mention the problem.
And now, he’s made it clear that he’s not willing to go-along-to-get-along with the relentless socialist assault on our economy and our institutions.
What he can actually do about it is another matter. But at least he’s not content to follow the herd and just watch, without so much as a bleating “tut-tut,” as everything we have spirals down the collectivist toilet.
This is leadership. We haven’t had any in so long that it’s hard for some to recognize. Could it be better? Undoubtedly. But I’ll take any leadership over none at all.
