More Trouble for Gillum in Florida: Allegedly took a $4k Donation to His PAC Without Reporting

Documents released Friday appear to show Andrew Gillum, the Democrat Gubernatorial candidate in Florida, accepted a $4,386 donation to his PAC, a donation he failed to report.

An undercover FBI agent posing as an Atlanta developer seeking to do business with the city of Tallahassee picked up the food tab for a 2016 fundraiser for Mayor Andrew Gillum’s political action committee, Forward Florida.
The PAC would eventually become the warchest for Gillum’s gubernatorial campaign. It is the first piece of evidence linking the ongoing FBI probe to Gillum’s broader campaign for statewide office.
The emails and receipts released Friday as part of a supplemental records request from the Florida Commission on Ethics shows that the agent, Mike Miller, was invoiced $4,386 by 101 Restaurant and Mint Lounge, a restaurant owned by lobbyist Adam Corey at the time.

The documents were released by Corey’s attorney, Chris Kise, who has been a longtime Republican Party activist and adviser to governors Charlie Crist and Rick Scott.
Corey is a central figure in an FBI corruption investigation in Tallahassee.
Kise has been accused by Democrats of a witch hunt, but he said facts are facts.
“Facts are not partisan. They are facts,” Kise said. “I am only doing my job for my client. I didn’t make up the facts nor did he. When you can’t refute the obvious facts you then attack the messenger.”
The commission had initially subpoenaed records of Adam Corey’s travel that included the mayor, producing 150 pages of documents that included text messages confirming that Gillum attended the Broadway hit “Hamilton” while in New York in August 2016, and that Miller paid for the tickets.

Earlier this week, text messages made public contradicted on of Gillum’s claims — Gillum claimed that he had paid for his trip to New York City to see the Broadway musical Hamilton. The messages indicated that Gillum’s trip was paid for.

Gillum absolutely has to be stopped. There are 3 vacancies on Florida’s highest court. Among other things a challenge to the state’s firearms preemption law is pending. If he appoints them I guarantee they will strike it down. Once that’s done the Democrat candidate for the job that oversees concealed carry permits says she wants to make it as difficult as possible to get them, and if you have one make it as difficult as possible to use it. Every city and county getting to make its own rules would make a carry license useless.
If the polls are correct (a huge if IMHO) then Florida may be about to elect a Governor who will be indicted for corruption in office while mayor of Tallahassee. In that case King would become Governor and he’s a pro-Palestinian Israeli hating Lefty. South Florida Jewish voters had best consider that possibility when casting their ballots.
It is common for a donation to be reported in the wrong quarter..a crime. But sometimes a difficult one to avoid as the campaign waits for the bookkeeper to post and the filing date has come. Being late, btw, is another crime, but a minor one never charged.
However failure to report always means illegal conversion. A reminder: Hillary Clinton is being ‘investigated’ for failing to report $84,000,000.
So what? Everyone knows that laws don’t apply to Democrats.
