Obama Insults Trump With Thinly Veiled Reference to Hitler

On the same day that Trump made history by being the first American President to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, Obama insulted him with a thinly veiled comparison to Adolf Hitler.

Former President Barack Obama invoked Nazi Germany to urge attendees of a Q&A session to remain vigilant in today’s political age, according to a journalist who attended the event.
Crain’s Chicago Business reporter Greg Hinz attended the event at the Economic Club of Chicago where Obama was quizzed by Ariel Investments President Mellody Hobson about his beliefs on a variety of subjects…
The two-term Democrat expressed the importance of a free press and urged the country not to “grow complacent,” saying “we have to tend to this garden of democracy or else things could fall apart quickly.”
Hinz writes Obama then brought up the specter of Adolf Hitler, who came to power in Democratic Germany amid the financial crisis of the 1930’s.
“Sixty million people died…” he reports Obama said. “So, you’ve got to pay attention. And vote.”

On Obama’s comment that voters should “pay attention,” Gutfeld pointed to the 2008 election of an “inexperienced” senator from Illinois who later governed with a “pen and a phone.”

Obama is like the two-year old who escalates their temper tantrum when they feel that their actions are not receiving enough attention. It is bizarre, day by day he makes more outrageous statements trying to get our attention, to regain the stature he once had (only because of his office, not the person) and he’s not receiving it. As the Zen koan asks, “What is the sound of one hand clapping?”.
Remember how the progs were all excited that Obama was going to lead them in their “resistance” with his status as ex-Pres, that he was going to organize them and speak for them and be the real head of their party?
