Breitbart.com reports that Elizabeth Warren’s campaign offered a cousin’s cookbook as further evidence to her 1/32 Cherokee claim debunked last week. According to Breitbart’s Michael Patrick Leahy:
The Warren Campaign offered reporters an undated article from the Muskogee Phoenix about the contributions of Elizabeth Warren’s first cousin, Mrs. James P. Rowsey, to the Five Civilized Tribes Museum in Muskogee, Oklahoma as proof of Ms. Warren’s Native American ancestry….Mrs. Rowsey’s most well known contribution to the Five Civilized Tribes Museum involved editing and publishing a cookbook in 1984.
The cookbook in question is entitled “Pow Wow Chow,” and is available at Amazon for $19.95.

The new one, with contributions from Barackah…
Bow Wow Chow.
Chow.
I especially liked his recipe for Chihuahua Chili!
Pomeranian pop-overs…
YUMMY…!!!
Wiener hot dogs, German Shepherd’s pie, and Poodle Strudel.
Don’t forget Filet of Sharpei!
frites d’ Friesian
Well that does it. Finally conclusive proof that Warren has been telling the truth all along. I am ashamed that I ever doubted her.
(Pow Wow Chow is an hilarious title.)
1/32 Indian and 3/64 Man Bear Pig–she’s a walking cornucopia of minorities!
Man Bear Pig….LOL. Would that include Al Gore????
He was the prototype!
Actually, this is becoming downright insulting. To really expect people to swallow these BS rantionales attests to how simple-minded the average leftist elitist views the rest of the population beyond its own circles.
Warren took P.T. Barnum to heart.
And, in Massive-two-spits…it hasn’t been a bad bet.
Sad, but true. Even sadder are those who understand what she did – or tried to do and got away with for a long time – and don’t care. They’ll vote for her in any case.
I think the lefties in the NE are the worst in the country. Maybe the upper Midwest is on the same par, though, or perhaps just one notch below.
When the lefties on the east coast elect a Patty Murray or a Maria Cantwell, or a Barbara Boxer they might slip into the same league as our left coast lefties.
Chuckie The Cereal Killer Schumer.
I don’t know, here in CA we give any state a run for their money on stupid!!
P.T. Barnum actually never said “A sucker is born every minute” – it’s actually believed to have been said by one of his competitors and attributed to Barnum to discredit him. Barnum would market the hell out of his attractions, but believed in an ethical requirement to actually provide people with the entertainment they had payed for. He also made those like Tom Thumb and Commodore Knutt very successful, popularized the theatre as a respectable venue for entertainment in America, supported the Union (resulting in arson attacks on his property), and worked to expose those who did follow the “sucker” credo.

Barnum was an interesting and complex character who lived a far richer existence than the empty, narcissistic fraudulence Warren and her fellow travelers have made their daily bread.
They expect us to act like good little sheeple and do what we’re told.
Thank heavens for the new media and the internet.
Here is one of the comments from the Amazon page.
“I bought it originally because I was interested in Native American cuisine. Perhaps it shouldn’t suprise us that a book published by the “Five Civilized Tribes” would have – such minimal connection – to traditional cooking. Many of the recipes call for cream cheese, graham crackers, velveeta, mayonnaise, etc”
What a surprise that the reference to the tribes in this book is as cheesy as Warren’s claim to the Cherokee ancestry.
The White Man stole Philadelphia cream cheesem, Velveeta, Nabisco Grahams, and Helman’s Real mayo from the noble Red Man.
Reverand Wright did a sermon on it last week.
Really? A cook book as proof? Isn’t “Pow Wow Chow” racist?
Isn’t “Pow Wow Chow” racist?
That was my first reaction. Imagine a Repub even saying pow wow and not getting excoriated by the Left.
Kitty, Kitty, Kitty: Don’t you understand that Conservatives get excoriated by Socialists and their media for everything we say, even if it’s a direct quote of anything they’ve said. That’s their rules especially if we don’t like it!
So, look’em right in the face and say: “Phaw!” Alternatively, tell’em to go back to Moscow!
Don’t forget that conservatives also get excoriated for things they don’t say. Either in not commenting on something the left things we should have commented on, or for quotes we didn’t say. (Sort of like a really bad marriage. Or really bad relationship, since the lefties don’t really believe in marriage.)
Hey, conservative are you still breathing?
What? You are? You racist!
At least the dogs we eat come in buns at the ballpark.
This incredibly tasteless farce would be hideous enough if Warren were running for PTA president or Garden Club president, but thie is the US SENATE!!! She is a lying hypocritical opportunistic scam artist and it is astounding that Massachusetts residents would support her. This has got to be one of the lowest points in US political history.
The kept electing Teddy the Swimmer and Bawney election after election and in my book those are equally as low.
The big trading loss announced by JP Morgan is a stroke of luck for Warren and Obama.
Even worse, the CEO is a long-term Democrat who in recent months has cozied up to Romney while complaining about post-financial-crisis regulation.
Damn.
That story is a GREAT illustration of how regulation DOES NOT…CAN NOT…work.
ALSO, J.P. Morgan was profitable, despite its loses…from trying to manage risk.
1. At this point I don’t know if the loss was due to improper hedging, or to a prop trading strategy labeled as hedging.
2. It’s worth discussing what the ideal level of regulation should be, but it’s not the issue I’m focusing on. (As a practical matter, as long as banks have government support, which will be true for the foreseeable future, some degree of regulation is inevitable and appropriate.)
3. I’m concerned with the political impact of the JPM loss. It has now become easier for Warren to claim that Republicans are making sophomoric attacks while she is concerned with Serious Stuff that we need Smart People Like Her to take care of for us. Also, Obama can now act Presidential and “avert another crisis”—while his proxies continue the cheap shots.
Sorry, Ms. Warren; need to see a burp certificate.
Me now convinced, Ke-mo sah-bee, squaw heap big Cherokee half-breed.
The reviews would indicate that this cookbook contains genuine Indian recipes. From the review, there can simply be no doubt:
“Many of the recipes call for cream cheese, graham crackers, velveeta, mayonnaise, etc.”
“They’ve had no choice over the years but to feed on OUR food, which is utter cah-RAP!!! …I don’t even eat that junk (wonder bread, velveeta, OM bologne, twinkies, etc.)”
“I’m half Choctaw and a quarter Creek and stuff like velveeta and mayonnaise have been traditional ingredients for 30 plus years. Cuisine changes over time, place and especially from cook to cook. Some foods like pashofa [soup made from hominy grits and pork] are older and may be considered more traditional fare but more recent recipes should not be left out simply because they are new.
I have just checked. Nothing about Indian cooking in Okie from Muskagee. I call fraud.
My mother contributed a recipe for ambrosia for my elementary school’s cookbook.
Obviously, that’s proof that I’m 1/32nd Greek God.

I call for Warren to step down from the Harvard faculty.
Since when does contribution to a native American cook book dictate that the contributor is a native American? Heap big bullcrap if you ask me. Not to mention the fact that my two cousins were adopted.
