Babson Students Cleared Over Pro-Trump Drive Through Wellesley Campus

Just days after the election, two students from Babson College drove a pick-up truck through the campus of nearby Wellesley College flying a Donald Trump flag. Wellesley students made accusations against the young men ranging from spitting to yelling discriminatory slurs.
The two were expelled from their fraternity and faced multiple charges, but now it’s all over.

Pro-Trump Babson students cleared in Wellesley incident
Babson College has cleared two students of any disciplinary violations stemming from their controversial drive through Wellesley College to celebrate Donald Trump’s victory the day after the presidential election, their lawyers said Monday.
The students, Parker Rand-Ricciardi and Edward Tomasso, faced accusations of harassment and disorderly conduct before the college’s honor board on Friday.
The Nov. 9 incident sparked a post-election uproar, fueled by accusations on social media that the men spat on a Wellesley student and yelled racial and homophobic slurs while parked in front of Harambee House, a campus gathering place for African-American students.
Rand-Riccardi and Tomasso denied the allegations, and an investigation by Babson found no evidence the men did anything other than drive through the campus waving a Trump flag out the truck window and yelling “Make America Great Again.”
They are not facing criminal charges.

In a campus free-speech case that put a national spotlight on Babson, Edward Tomasso and Parker Rand-Ricciardi yesterday were found not responsible on counts of disorderly conduct and harassment for their political demonstration, their attorneys said.
The pair had been called before Babson’s Honor Board on Friday and participated in a lengthy closed-door hearing. The board cleared the men of any wrongdoing in a written decision today, their lawyers said.
“This has been an extremely difficult, painful five weeks for Parker and his family, one that has naturally taken a toll on them,” Jeffrey Robbins, Rand-Ricciardi’s lawyer, said in a prepared statement. “They are grateful for the kindness and support of so many people, including both friends and complete strangers. Their hope is to spend some time decompressing and enjoying the holidays.”
Social media posts had claimed Rand-Ricciardi and Tomasso shouted racial and homophobic slurs while driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and flying a Trump flag through the Wellesley College campus on Nov. 9, the day after the presidential election. But campus police were unable to find witnesses to corroborate those claims.
It sure looks like the accusations made against these men were based solely on resentment for them as Trump supporters. Do you recall any college students being penalized for celebrating the election of Obama in 2008?

But you see how that works? The punishment is the process here. This never was about finding these men guilty of anything because they never were guilty of anything other than enjoying the election win.
Of course this whole process is completely pointless UNLESS those making the accusations are held to account for their scurrilous and false accusations! And as we all know this is never going to happen because the left is practically untouchable.

Apparently Wellesley has no honor code as it appears the women who fabricated the the parts about racial and mysoginistic slurs and spitting will face no repercussions whatsoever.
The whole point of this stuff is the narrative. How many stories have we seen in the media where someone claims they were “attacked” or “hated on” or whatever, by “Trump supporters”. Then we find out a couple days later that the story wasn’t true. (And that rebuttal never quite gets the play of the original story.) Unfortunately, that seems to be the case with virtually every “Progressive” theme these days — never let the facts get in the way of a good narrative. And disregard the actual facts in favor of that narrative.
Sue the liars and own them. Being ‘owned’ puts life in a different perspective. At least Chevy got a free plug 😉

“Reported homophobia” is pretty much a statutory offense here in the People’s Republic of Massachusetts. Why waste time on legal procedure? Especially since Wellesley College is Hillary’s alma mater.
This story is actually far more insidious than what is presented here. The two young men in question were not only expelled from their fraternity they were banned from the Babson campus for 30 day no doubt impacting their studies.
Further, some 200 Babson faculty signed a letter condemning the two despite the fact that the accusations were nothing more than social media based hearsay. So many members of the Babson faculty signed the letter that the recent hearing was made by an “honor board” of 2… one student and one member of the faculty/administration who apparently must have had the good sense not to condemn 2 young men without knowing the facts. All the rest were deemed biased because they signed the letter.
They were also condemned from the start by the school President (Mitt Romney’s former Lt Gov Kerry Healy… a RINO’s RINO) and several senior members of the administration.
Remarkably, all this occurred at Babson… a school renowned for its business and entrepreneurship programs not at some looney liberal arts school like Hampshire College or Oberlin… there are no Womyn’s studies majors at Babson… one would expect some measure of restraint and/or common sense at Babson.

Penalized for celebrating – no.
I think the whole of the USA has been penalised for actually electing Obama in 2008 and then in 2012. Even Peggy Jones who anticipated Obama’s first election win in 2008, “I won’t have to worry about putting gas in my car, I won’t have to worry about paying my mortgage”; one wonders whether she still feels this way.
All those people who thought they could keep their doctors under Obamacare, or who thought their premiums and deductibles would go down.
All of those who expected improved racial harmony in the US under Obama.
So many other reasons, with too few lines to list.
Some pointers if you’re going to pull a stunt like this.
1) Drive a Ford. For the love of God man, show some self respect.
2) Film your slow-roll through campus from multiple cameras. Wait for all of the lying accusations to come in, then expose the liars with video.
Better than that, just go about your daily lives, looking happy and prosperous, and whenever you talk to a glum snowflake, say something like, “Man, am I so stoked!”
This is the foreseeable result of the unethical propaganda campaign run by the DNC, the Clintons, John Podesta and the collusive media.
These dishonorable people have done everything in their power to demonize the opposition. Just this week I talked with a few Democrats, who are trying mightily to confuse the results of this election with the one that brought Hitler to power.
Yeah. They have not even begun to calm down.
Civil rights intimidation case bound over for student in ETSU ‘gorilla mask’ incident, more charges added
A state prosecutor asked a judge on Monday for more charges against a former East Tennessee State University student charged in September after an incident at a peaceful Black Lives Matter protest on campus.
Already a “former student” and charged with “civil rights intimidation”, whatever that is.
