So last night the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union. Of course, everyone has an opinion. When I say everyone I mean everyone.

Prime Minister David Cameron resigned. He campaigned to remain in the EU.

The Brits had a chance to determine whether they wanted to be an independent sovereign nation or a minor state in a totalitarian ubernation – run, probably, by Germany. Certainly Britain hasn’t had much imput on EU policies in the past. The Brits chose to remain a nation. Good for them.

    From what I’ve been reading, the EU deal is very bad for UK. I support their sentiment, but they essentially have zero baragaining power in the exit strategy. The EU gets to dictate the terms of their exit.

    That’s bad news for them…your predecessors that signed the stupid EU deal in the first place screwed you on that one.

If the Brits wanted to be governed by Germany they could have slept in during 1939 and saved everyone the trouble.

    The comments on that post are entertaining. It’s amazing how many people spout off about how they’d itch to be on the tribunals to punish the Texas traitors after they were easily vanquished, etc.

    I imagine those same people sit and cheer as the Federal hegemony continues to grow like the blob out of a 50’s science-fiction flick.

Trump/Sessions, it will be good for America to continue our quest to be on the right side of history.
Hillary & the bulk of republican leadership, trying to have it both ways. Pathetic.
It’s no wonder the usual suspects all hate Trump & who & what “populism” (their term) represents.

The refugee crises created by the social justice-inspired humanitarian disaster was probably the straw that broke the EU’s back.

The anti-native and [class] diversity (e.g. racist, sexist) factions are eligible for unemployment benefits. Maybe.
