Daughters of the American Revolution is a history-based organization for women connected by family to people who fought in the American Revolution. In recent years, leadership at the organization has gone somewhat woke and has been open to the idea of allowing biological men who identify as women to join. Individual members were not so keen on the idea.
One chapter in Texas challenged the idea, and the national organization has now voted to disband that chapter.

Daughters of the American Revolution axes chapter that challenged transgender membership
The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) voted Saturday to disband its Martha Laird Chapter in Texas that fought to bar transgender women from joining the historic organization, citing violations of its national bylaws.
In a letter to chapter members, DAR Organizing Secretary General Marguerite Hogan Fritsch announced that the National Board of Management had approved the chapter’s dissolution by a two-thirds majority vote.
“On October 10, 2026, at the meeting of the National Board of Management of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution a resolution passed by two-thirds majority vote to disband the Martha Laird Chapter, NSDAR,” Fritsch said in the letter. “The actions of the chapter have been found in violation of Article XIX, Section 4 of the Bylaws of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution,” the letter continued.
The letter did not identify the specific conduct that constituted a violation or state whether the chapter’s opposition to transgender membership contributed to the decision.
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution confirmed to Fox News Digital that the organization had voted to disband the local Texas chapter but denied it was due to its views on membership.
“The National Board of Management voted on October 10 to disband the Martha Laird Chapter in Texas after finding that chapter officers had used the chapter’s name, leadership positions, communications, and governance processes to further the goals of a separate advocacy organization,” the group told Fox News Digital. “The Board determined that it was this use of chapter authority and resources – not the views being advocated – that constituted conduct discrediting the National Society under Article XIX, Section 4 of the National Bylaws.”
“The Board’s decision was not based on the chapter’s or its members’ views concerning membership eligibility, their efforts to propose changes to the National Bylaws, or their right to advocate for changes in National Society governance,” the statement continued.

What’s happening to many women only organizations is who takes over their boards just like school boards. They seem to pull woke liberals to the boards in every entity and they are the ones who make these terrible rules. Individual chapters will make or break the whole organization one way or the other.
The Martha Laird chapter in Texas was leading the way to make DAR a women only organization. The woke leadership has been stealthily allowing men to join with altered birth certificates from states that will let applicants change the sex. There has been a movement among chapters across the country calling for a special meeting on the gender issue, a process out,ined in the DAR rules. I believe the thresholdfor chapters requestin the meeting has been reached. Instead of calling the meeting the DAR Board of Management nuked the chapter as an example to any other unruly chapters.
The woke officers running DAR have been celebrated by the left for their “inclusiveness”. So the campaign to destroy traditional American institutions by the Left continues.

This is a microcosm of how the socialist/wokeistas worm their way onto every board they can get on. They then start attacking the people that are members over wrong thinking. Then they shame them and force them out through ideological purity tests. They are trying to erase our very history and heritage. Guarantee these female board members are somehow connected to Neville Roy Singh/CCP.
