Israeli Ambassador’s Son Critically Injured in West Bank Terror Attack

Israeli Ambassador’s Son Critically Injured in West Bank Terror Attack

The hospital confirmed that Neria had a multi-hour brain surgery and “his condition remains very serious, and his life is in danger.”

Earlier today, a terrorist rammed his car into a checkpoint in the West Bank, near the Israeli settlement of Beit Horon, critically injuring an IDF reservist.

Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Yechiel Leiter announced that the victim is his son, Neria Leiter.

The attack happened before 5:00 PM local time:

Earlier in the day, the IDF reported a car-ramming attack “at a checkpoint in the Binyamin Brigade’s area of responsibility.” The Binyamin Brigade is the IDF unit responsible for operating in the central West Bank.

The attack took place in the area of Maccabim checkpoint, the IDF said, which is a key checkpoint west of Ramallah. The IDF said the terrorist who carried out the attack was “eliminated” by security forces.

The Palestinian Health Ministry identified the suspect as Mahmoud Suleiman, the Associated Press reported.

The IDF said one soldier was “severely injured” but did not share more on his condition. Neria Leiter is being treated at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.

The hospital confirmed that Neria had a multi-hour brain surgery and “his condition remains very serious, and his life is in danger.”

Ambassador Leiter wrote on X:

I am grateful to the IDF, to the medical team at Shaare Zedek who are now fighting to save the life of Neria Dov ben Chana, and for the prayers of the people of Israel.

I believe in the power of prayer, and I believe that when the people of Israel unite, miracles happen. Neria needs a miracle.

Neria continued to serve in the reserves after losing his older brother, Moshe Yedidya Leiter, of blessed memory. Since October 7th, he has served hundreds of days in the reserves on multiple fronts.

Palestinian terrorism seeks to uproot the people of Israel from their land.

They choose death – we choose life.

Neria lost his older brother, Maj. Moshe Yedidya Leiter, on November 10, 2023, in a battle in Gaza.

Terrorists unleashed attacks on Jews on the eve of Yom Kippur, the holiest day on the Jewish calendar.

From Sunday:

Palestinian terror across Judea and Samaria on the eve of Yom Kippur:

11:30 – A Palestinian terrorist opens fire on Israelis near Neveh Tzuf. A 30-year-old Israeli is murdered.

12:36 – An attempted ramming attack near Jenin. No Israelis injured.

13:08 – An Israeli who mistakenly enters a Palestinian village in the Hebron Hills is reportedly attacked and injured.

13:39 – Another reported attempted ramming attack near Rimonim Junction.

13:42 – A vehicle reportedly attempts to ram two Israelis near Silwad before fleeing.

This is the reality of Palestinian terror: Israelis targeted for being Israeli – even on the eve of our holiest day.

I was assured that there was no hamas in the West Bank by President Macron. Looks like he was wrong. palestinian jihad, plo, hamas it’s all the same and the funding is the mullahs and the irgc.

Stop using the term Palestinian. You are giving these terrorists credit for their made up status. There is no nation or state of Palestine and there never was. The concept was created by Arafat and the PLO with help by the Soviet Union. Those claiming Palestinian status are displaced arabs and their offspring. They were displaced in 1948 when the Arab nations invaded Israel and were defeated. More displaced Arabs were probably created when Arab nations again attempted to invade Israel. Those same Arab nations still refuse to repatriate their own citizens. Why? And after all these years the UN continues to support and fund these displaced Muslim Arabs. Why? Why call them Palestinians and make it appear they are residents of a country that did not exist, while they are nationals of many existing Arab nations.

G*d bless the Leiter family

there’s a reason rabid dogs get put down

may the young man make a full recovery

prayers for him and for his family during this time

Genocidal, goose-stepping, Jew-hating and Christian-hating Arab Muslim thugs/terrorists are the problem; not Jews, Christians or Israel.

Arab Muslim invaders from Arabia in Gaza/West Bank (the fallaciously, historically revisionist, self-styled “Palestinians”) are the problem.
