Israel Eliminates Hamas, Islamic Jihad Terror Commanders Behind October 7 Attack

IDF hits Hamas weapons storage facilities across Gaza.

Nearly three years after the October 7 massacre, the Israeli military and security forces continue to hunt down and eliminate the terrorists responsible. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) scored major operational success over the weekend, taking out several senior Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists involved in the attack.

The IDF, supported by the Shin Bet security agency, killed a commander of Hamas’s Nukhba terrorist force who invaded Israel on October 7, 2023. A strike in central Gaza “eliminated the terrorist Abdallah Adnan Taha Abu al-Tayf, a Nukhba commander in Hamas’ military wing,” the IDF announced. “The terrorist infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th Massacre. Throughout the war, he actively participated in combat against IDF troops.”

In a separate strike, the “IDF eliminated the terrorist Jalal Tsubeih, a commander in the Daraj Tuffah Battalion of Hamas’ military wing,” the military disclosed in the same statement.

IDF eliminates PIJ hostage taker

An October 7 hostage taker and commander of Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s (PIJ) Central Gaza Brigade was also killed in a recent Israeli strike, the IDF revealed on Monday.

The slain terrorist, Mahmoud Fatair, kidnapped 19-year-old Rom Braslavski. Rom was tortured and sexually assaulted by PJI terrorists during his long captivity. According to the BBC in November 2025, he “was sexually assaulted during his two years in captivity in Gaza.”

Fatair “infiltrated Israeli territory on October 7th and took part in holding Rom Braslavski hostage in the custody of the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization,” the IDF announced on Monday.

He featured prominently in propaganda videos filmed during the hostage release. “In November 2023, as part of the sixth phase of the hostage release agreement, the terrorist was documented wearing the Islamic Jihad uniform while participating in the hostage handover ceremony of numerous hostages, including Amit Shani, Ofir Engel, Moran Stela Yanai, Itay Regev, Liam Or-Nassar, Raz Ben Ami,  Rantin Phaiboon, Gong Sae Lao, Seekena Jakkapan, and Saegkaew Charoemchai.”

Despite a ceasefire reached in October 2025, the PIJ commander continued his terrorist activities. “Recently, the terrorist attempted to advance terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians and was eliminated in order to remove the threat,” the military noted.

Another Hamas terror cell commander, who attacked Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7, was also killed over the weekend.

A strike in southern Gaza killed “terrorist Salem Jamal Abd al-Rahman Abu Labad, a Hamas Nukhba cell commander,” the IDF said on Sunday. “The terrorist infiltrated Kibbutz Nir Oz during the 7th October Massacre.” Israel’s Ynetnews noted previously that in “the massacre at Nir Oz, 47 residents of the kibbutz were murdered and 76 were abducted to the Gaza Strip.”

Israel hits Hamas weapons storage facilities across Gaza

Over the weekend, the Israeli military targeted Hamas’s weapons storage sites across Gaza. The IDF announced on Sunday that it “struck in several areas across the Gaza Strip and dismantled five Hamas weapons storage facilities, where Kalashnikov rifles, explosive devices, anti-tank launchers, ammunition, and additional military equipment were stored.”

Many of these weapons and explosives depots were located near civilian facilities, including a hospital. “One of the storage facilities, located adjacent to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, was used as a hideout by Hamas terrorists, where they stored weapons. This is another example of Hamas’ systematic use of and embedding within civilian infrastructure, including medical facilities, to plan and carry out terrorist activities,” the military disclosed. “The weapons were intended to be used by the Hamas terrorist organization to execute terror attacks against IDF troops operating in the Yellow Line area and against Israeli civilians, and were dismantled in order to remove the threat.”

Mamdani was not allowed to speak at the funeral service for Army Sgt. Angel Sarah Rampersad. As a result he’s been highly upset.

I’m sure if he asks, they will allow him to be the main speaker at the Nukhba terror commander’s service. That will relieve much of anger and restore his damaged ego.

Trump and his council of peace want and believe Hamas will disarm. Iran has announced they are backing Hama. Obviously there is a major disconnect here. No surprise really.

Look for Israel to be forced 1) into a cease fire on all fronts 2) into withdrawing from Lebanon Gaza and Syria.

Meanwhile nothing changes from either the muslim or propaganda perspective. The world will continue to heap abuse and the anti-Israel sentiment in the US population as well as anti-Jewish feelings will continue to grow. The muslims will not disarm and quickly break the cease fire with another outrageous terrorist act (to be applauded by the Irish the Spanish the Cubans the Russians the Chinese and much of the US,)

A related comment from our glorious leader:

President Donald Trump said Monday that he is giving Iran “every last chance” to reach a deal.

“I want to give them every last chance before decapitation. Very tough to do,” Trump told reporters. “…I’m very proud of the fact that I’ll give people a chance. This is a big move to do an attack that big on a country.”

Trump said Iranian officials called him after learning about the planned operation.

“Hopefully they’ll come to their senses,” Trump added. “So they called me, and they said, ‘Please don’t attack. We’ll make a deal.’ That’s the real truth. And everyone knows it.”

The president said that if “given a chance to let a lot of people live,” that he wants to “give that chance.”

“I’m under no time constraint,” Trump said.

1. I love a happy chapter like this in a long story.

2. What the hell do you want Trump to say? If he just says “Fuck em all up the ass with bombs!” as you seem to want, there becomes absolutely zero chance of any negotiated peace settlement. True there is not really much hope for such a settlement, but that doesn’t mean it’s wrong to try and once you have declared negotiations impossible, returning to them later makes you look weak. So you always leave that door open. Always. The UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and other countries are slowly actually coming on board. This is a good thing. Additionally, how do you want to escalate?
A ground invasion is exactly what Iran wants and that means a lot of dead American boys. If that can possibly be avoided is that wrong?
