Dr. Deborah Birx Must Be Next Focal Point in Covid Mitigation Policy Investigations
Fauci and Birx are the Bobbsey Twins of the covid pandemic disaster.
With Dr. Anthony Fauci now under renewed fire after pleading the Fifth during a U.S. Senate hearing this week, I would argue that more attention should be directed to Dr. Deborah Birx, the former White House COVID coordinator and essentially Fauci’s partner in thrusting their experimental pandemic policies on the American public.
As a reminder, I reviewed a documentary that offered chilling details on Birx and her direct role in creating the lockdown disaster that still impacts this country to this day.
…Birx continued to issue lockdown policies using White House stationery and scuttling Trump’s attempts to reopen the country.
The kicker: Pence allowed Birx to use Air Force Two to fly around the country and undermine the efforts of Atlas and the other serious and well-qualified scientists who disagreed with the Birx model.
Perhaps the most chilling aspect of the documentary was the audio of Birx herself bragging about how she subverted Trump and his advisors.
Well, with a little help from Pence: “I made it very clear to the Vice President, and I said, “You know I’m saying exactly the opposite of what the president is saying, and what Scott Atlas is saying. And the Vice President said, “You do what you need to do.
Now, during her appearance on CBS News‘ “Takeout” With Major Garrett, Birx is desperately trying to distance herself from the mitigation monstrosity she created. Her position should have… evolved.
“I think all of us need to be quite honest with ourselves about how not only the information evolved, but the needs for the relevant, what we call, countermeasures, should have also evolved,” Birx responded.
“What do I mean by that? When this first hit, we didn’t have enough testing out there. We couldn’t stop the spread in any way. Hospitals were being overrun. We didn’t have a supply chain that matched the need.
“And so the first part in the few months were a crisis,” she said. “But once we got additional therapies, monoclonal antibodies, long-acting monoclonal antibodies, Remdezivir, where there were actually additional treatments, then you can pull back on some of the mitigation.”
Birx tossed both Fauci and Blue States under the bus. She asserts the response became “political” and that Democrat-led states “over-closed.”
There were solutions, but it became very political, and we all have to be aware because it was a presidential election year, it was really important for blue states to show that they were taking this very seriously. And they over-closed. And we just have to be honest that that happened. And that’s why that discussion from both sides of the aisle and a resolution and a way to go forward is critical so that we can do this right in the future.

I will simply note that Birx did not receive one of those handy Biden Autopen pardons, and as David Strom of Hot Air notes, she is every bit as culpable as Fauci.
Birx is Dr. Fauci’s accomplice, and while far less evil than Fauci, because there is little indication that she actually conspired to create the COVID virus that wiped out tens of millions of people, she participated in the subsequent destruction that destroyed lives and split this country apart. She lied repeatedly, causing enormous damage, and decided that she and Fauci could run a shadow government and do an end run around the political leadership elected by the American people.
And then she bragged about it in her autobiography, confident that Pravda would applaud her.
…Birx herself has bragged about her efforts to subvert the president’s policies in her autobiography, and has admitted that she lied to policy makers and the American public to get them to comply with public health measures she knew were unwarranted. She was scared to death that President Trump would act on his own knowledge that she had manipulated him.
Fauci and Birx are the Bobbsey Twins of the COVID pandemic disaster. Fauci’s actions supported the conditions that led to the generation of the virus and its spread, while Birx undermined Trump’s efforts to reopen the country once it was clear that COVID wasn’t as deadly as advertised.

A credible, evidence-based review of COVID pandemic policy decisions is warranted for all officials involved, regardless of position or political affiliation, particularly where significant public health and economic impacts occurred. But Birx should be the next one put into the hot seat, with the temperature on “High”.
If investigations find that any individuals knowingly misrepresented data, exceeded their authority, or misled policymakers or the public, those actions should be addressed to the fullest extent possible based on the law.
Accountability, applied fairly and grounded in verifiable facts, is essential to maintaining public trust and improving future public health responses.
Sadly, COVID was fatal in some cases. But what it really killed was public trust in science, our public health system, and “experts”. Unless accountability includes more than an intense grilling in Congress, with a side of angry tweets and memes, that trust will remain dead.

Waste of Senate time going after the little sociopathic worm, Fauci, let the States make his life miserable.. If Sen.Paul is serious, he will go after Ralph Baric, the person who developed the COVID 19 virus and worked with Wuhan and OBTW a CIA consultant. #2 Peter Daszak, EcoHealth Alliance, laundered the NIH and CIA(?) money to the Wuhan lab. The CIA officials who seemed to organize the Lab origin coverup and worked with Fauci, also may have been the organizers of the project. No phony pardons for these people, put the squeeze on them and follow the trail.
Birx is a good place to start the trail on the political origins and coordination of the political hit on Trump..

Directly it didn’t. Indirectly it did by delaying paxlovid because Rem was only marginally effective when the infection was caught prior to hospitalization levels of severity.
Funny thing is Fauci knew or should have known about paxlovid. It has a retroviral inhibitor that was used to fight HIV…remind me on what front did Fauci rise to his position? Oh yeah, fighting AIDS.
Paxlovid’s cocktail was simply off patent and remdesivir was a new drug that Fauci had a vested financial interest in.
Remdesivir was known to nurses as “run, death is near.” People put on it died of kidney failure, which was not a cause of death known to be related to Covid (yet hospitals called them Covid deaths because they received a check for every death they attributed to Covid).

And here’s why that’s a good thing.
The aftermath has greatly increased skepticism within much of the public for the ‘authorities’ and decreased the willingness to accept the dictates of the ‘experts’. Those are the silver lining. Add to it the greater general awareness that an expert in a particular field will usually become fixated on recommendations that only reflect his particular area of expertise/experience discounting or outright dismissing and other concerns in a sort of myopic hubris.

I don’t think Legal Insurrection should be supporting Senators Paul and Moreno. Both are embarrassments to the Republican Party (like Mamdani and Platner, and the Squad, are to the Democrats) and their anti-Fauci crusade will be used against us in November.
There is a big elephant in the living room, namely, the fact that no medical licensing board has even contemplated action against Fauci over all these allegations. Rand Paul is himself an ophthalmologist (MD). If I were Fauci, I would challenge him publicly to submit his “concerns” to Fauci’s medical licensing board, while bearing in mind that a false or reckless accusation could be cause for action against Paul’s own medical license. I think Rand Paul would sit down and close his mouth pretty quickly were Fauci, or somebody else, to make that challenge.
While I have zero use for the Democratic Party and its anti-Semitic, pro-Hamas contingent, it does (like the proverbial broken clock that is right twice a day) does get it right from time to time. Shutting everything down was the only hope we had at the time of stopping a disease for which there was no vaccine, and no real cure (the situation we also had in 1918, when similar nonpharmaceutical countermeasures were used). All that Rand Paul, and Moreno, are doing is to hand the November elections to the Democrats by making the entire Republican Party look bad.

Although if you’re ranking cringe COVID dance teams, this pair would give Fauci and Birx a run for their money:
“Give us any cure, we’ll take it! … There is nothing we won’t close, restaurants and universities playgrounds, salons, shopping malls… we’re gonna do it!”
May I suggest that those who lost businesses, business associations which had members lose their livelihood/stores, parents groups whose members’ children lost years of education, and those who were denied the chance to comfort their dying family members will find legal organizations to help them all file lawsuits in their home states against Fauci and Birx.
We must find a reckoning for these so called experts who made up lies and stood before the American people, then wrecked our nation.
Forcing them to defend themselves in a dozen lawsuits in a dozen states will force them to forfeit their wealth, since they will never be held accountable criminally.
I hope that conservative law firms and organizations will take up this strategy help those who suffered get some satisfaction
There is way too much bellyaching over the C-19 disaster. Not enough attention is paid to what we will do in the next pandemic, and with wars going on and possible political advantage to be gained by releasing a virus, we should expect an new artificially created pandemic – soon.
