Wisconsin Brewery That Celebrated Trump Assassination Attempt Loses Permits Over Tax Dispute
He’s a left-wing activist and business owner. He lost his license for not paying his taxes.
A self-described “progressive” Wisconsin brewery that appeared to celebrate an assassination attempt on President Donald Trump has lost several permits for not paying taxes.
“Well, we almost got #freebeerday,” Minocqua Brewing Company wrote in April following the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting attempt.
“Either a brother or sister in the Resistance needs to work on their marksmanship or he faked another assassination to get a positive news cycle. We’ll never know,” the company wrote. (The FBI and Secret Service subsequently interviewed owner Kirk Bangstad).
What I think is happening is that either the beer distributors in the Republican Tavern League have an “in” at the Department of Revenue and are trying to work us over, or someone in Evers’ office is trying to shut me up.
He also urged followers to donate to his legal fund, saying:
We’re no strangers to fighting against government to simply do business in our town, county, and now the state of Wisconsin. We’ve ultimately won every battle, but fighting in court costs money, and we simply can’t fight without it.
Bangstad will lose his permits as of August 4, but he is allowed to appeal, the Journal Sentinel reported.

Too bad he’s not an illegal. He would be forgiven in a heartbeat.
To be honest I am pleased that his loss of license had nothing to do with his politics and stems from the fact that he is an idiot who can’t even make enough money selling beer to pay his taxes. That’s the equivalent of a hooker who can’t get enough ah, ‘work’ to afford make-up.
Not sure why people do this. Sure , some people will visit because of it, but many people won’t ; both Trump supporters and some people who can’t abide Trump but don’t like celebrating assassination.
They can’t help themselves.
One thing I’ve noticed about communism is it brings out the violent turds among us.

That owner is total clown shoes. Got a bunch of patrons arrested one time because they were harassing the owner of the local paper, and got federal investigators looking into him.
I hope he has to sell his business and it is bought by a Trump supporter or even Trump himself. Can you say Trump Beer. It would be so appropriate and a real thumb in that jerk’s eye.
I think Billy Beer pretty much ruptured that dream for everybody.
