Roger Williams U. Summer Camp Teaches Kids About ‘Social Justice’

“will introduce participants to social justice movements and teach them to think through the lens of race”

The left is relentless on this. They insert this ideology into virtually everything.

Roger Williams University camp teaches kids about social justice, voting rights, ‘disinformation’

Roger Williams University in Rhode Island is hosting a weeklong social justice camp for middle school students this month that will introduce participants to social justice movements and teach them to think through the lens of race.

The university’s Mandell-Boisclair Justice Camp will offer two sessions scheduled for July 13–17 and July 20–24 for students entering grades six through nine. The middle schoolers will spend time at both Roger Williams University’s law school campus in downtown Providence and its Bristol campus while learning about social justice movements and how they can make social change.

While last year’s camp was sponsored by social justice attorney Mark Mandell, this year attendance costs $49.

The camp’s curriculum extends beyond explaining how courts and legislatures function. During the first week, children are taught about “social justice advocates” alongside lawmakers and attorneys, and participants are scheduled to make their own arguments on the floor of the Rhode Island State House.

During last year’s program’s opening remarks, Mandell said organizers wanted to provide a space that “respects social justice” at what he described as a time when “equal justice for all is under attack across our country.”

The summer program also comes as a new Turning Point USA chapter has faced opposition during the student organization recognition process at Roger Williams University, adding to ongoing discussions about political viewpoints on campus.

The camp reflects a broader emphasis on race and social justice within the Roger Williams University School of Law, which National Jurist ranked 11th nationally on its 2026 list of top law schools for social justice.

Rhode Island is bound and determined to recapitulate 1960s Romania.
Have at it, Rhody — every Romania has its Ceaușescus.
