Trump: Declassifying Documents Showing China’s Election Interference and “Deep State” Cover Up

“In light of the brand new and irrefutable information I have revealed tonight, my administration is in the process of notifying states whose election data was compromised by the People’s Republic of China and others.”

President Donald Trump will address the nation at 9 PM ET. NBC, ABC, CNN, and CBS will only broadcast Trump on their digital feeds.

According to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, the speech will be about “protecting the integrity of our elections.”

Newly declassified documents show that over a period of years starting during the 2020 election cycle, the People’s Republic of China carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history — resulting in China’s illicit acquisition of 220 million U.S. voter files. That information includes names, addresses, phone numbers, political party preferences, and other sensitive data that would be needed to register to vote, and engage in other nefarious activities. This data loss presents an unprecedented election security nightmare. The intelligence even shows that China assigned a data exploitation unit specifically to this new project.

“Today, I’m asking the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Justice, the FBI, and the CIA to investigate how and why such crucial information was hidden, to fire those involved in the cover-up and defile criminal charges if appropriate against these people.”

“Yet concealing China’s meddling was only the beginning. The third set of documents we are releasing proves that for many years Americans were blatantly lied to about the security of our election infrastructure, including electronic voting machines and ballot-counting systems dishonest almost all.”

In light of the brand new and irrefutable information I have revealed tonight, my administration is in the process of notifying states whose election data was compromised by the People’s Republic of China and others. We will be working closely to mitigate any harm—and we are taking swift action to ensure that sensitive voter data is better protected, so it can never be bought, hacked, or stolen again. Tomorrow, the Secretary of DHS will hold a briefing to outline his Department’s recent work confirming cyber vulnerabilities in our electronic voting systems. We are in the process of informing governors, senators, and members of Congress of potential issues in their states. We are committed to working with states and local jurisdictions to help them fix and patch known technical vulnerabilities, before the midterm elections. I have also ordered DHS to notify every state about non-citizens on their voter rolls, and direct them to remove all ineligible voters from the lists immediately.

Trump’s best and most cogent speech ever. True transparency. Wow!

Why in the world would the CCP want Dems elected? Hmmm . . .

Media always proclaimed there was never any evidence of fraud or corruption in the 2020 election. Trump is releasing millions of documents that claim otherwise tomorrow.

Trump blew the cheating and foreign election interference wide open for the world to see. No pussyfooting around it.

Democrats will deny it. Good for them. Once criminal charges are filed, the real fun begins watching those responsible for the crimes go on trial

Color me skeptical that anything actually happens. Betting against the Deep State never pays off. At least hasn’t yet.

“Media always proclaimed there was never any evidence of fraud or corruption in the 2020 election.”

Because they were unwilling to look for any. Like it was someone else’s job to come to THEM with. And when people did, they dismissed them as having been “debunked” so they didn’t have to clayfoot their gods.

Also that American reporters were paid by China tp spew its BS. if so the reporters should be prosecuted under FARA

People seem to forget that trials are decided by juries, and for criminal charges, the verdict has to be unanimous. What are the chances no dims will be on the jury? I doubt that would be an allowable question during voire dire.

He did mention….The One…. and the instructions to destroy the burn bags… Trump kindly called it incompetence so that those people wouldn’t be meeting Seth Rich soon.

Yup … of course all the lamestream media covered every press conference and speech by the Black Jesus … but they have become more brazen than ever and now decide which speeches to cover. Media bias anyone?

All well and good.

So.

When will…

1) the US recall its Ambassador to China

1a) send China’s Ambassador packing

2) revoke ALL visas issued to Chinese nationals including but not limited to students, scientists, engineers, business owners, and the spouses thereof

3) put MASSIVE tariffs on Chinese goods and give American companies a date-certain to remove manufacturing, engineering, etc from China

4) revoke landing rights of any and all Chinese-flag airlines and freight lines

Mr. President: (channeling the late Fred Allen) As the woman with the screaming baby said to the judge, the bawl is in your court.

DaveGinOly in reply to The Gentle Grizzly. | July 17, 2026 at 12:55 am

I was largely disinterested in this speech because, as I suspected, it would conveniently lay the blame on foreigners who are largely untouchable. I have never believed in the “voting aliens” nor in the “vulnerable infrastructure” methodologies when they’ve been blamed for “the Steal.” The real culprit is domestic, and ran a brute-force, hard-copy operation against our systems and processes of elections, by flooding them with bogus ballots, manufactured en masse with the help of unsecure voter registration and mail-in balloting. The operatives who ran this op are home-grown citizens, likely all Democrats, and are among us. So far, they’ve gotten pretty well clear of any serious consequences, which means they’re being encouraged to do it again.

CommoChief in reply to DaveGinOly. | July 17, 2026 at 9:15 am

That is true. The real vulnerability is the lax enforcement and failure to maintain ‘clean’ voter registration lists. When lists aren’t scrubbed to remove those who died, moved (even one neighborhood over without updating address) or whose application was legally insufficient at initial registration then the pool of ‘bad’ registrations can be exploited.

The theft of the info and/or otherwise seeking to influence elections ain’t peanuts. Use of deep fake AI generated photos, memes/videos is a real possibility.

If the States refuse to make good faith efforts to clean up voter registration lists and remove legally insufficient registrations using strict rules like demanding a 911 compliant address as the physical address which is often already the statutory requirement then Congress is eventually gonna have to set up parallel registration for Federal elections run by the Feds. Do that and there’s a much cleaner list and it would create an opportunity for side by side direct comparison with the State list to show exactly how lax some States have been in failing to meet their duty to maintain accurate voter registration rolls.

Will be interesting to see the Chinese reaction. Does Trump still plan to admit 300,000 Chinese students to US universities, many of whom have been recruited to engage in R&D [no – not research and development – rather ripoff and duplicate]. Is Xi still planned to come to Washington in September? When I was in high school, we read the book “The Ugly American”. Somebody should write a book “The Stupid American” which basically refers to over half the US population.

It is mind boggling that we still can’t pass the common sense SAVE Act. Thanks Tillis – you utter asshole.

    Love the Fred Allen reference.

“The third set of documents we are releasing proves that for many years Americans were blatantly lied to about the security of our election infrastructure, including electronic voting machines and ballot-counting systems”

…BY OUR OWN GOVERNMENT.

Let’s not forget to empathize THAT part.

Let’s hope this kraken isn’t another toothless one.
To all you “there is absolutely no evidence” people: you suck. You should all die in a fire.

I suspect this is all show, designed to support passage of Save America.

There is no one to prosecute.

Commiefornia Refugee | July 17, 2026 at 1:58 am

“81 million”

The documents showed absolutely no such thing, the thing Trump claims China has (the lists of voters) is openly and publicly available on the websites of the U.S. Government.

The intelligence reports he declassified say exactly the opposite of what was claimed.

This was a formal surrender to the left because rather than except that he lost Trump has killed his credibility.

He should have used the opportunity to defend his policies and propose legislation.

Instead he defended delaying a bill that would fund rural hospitals and did so very poorly.

This follows J.D. Vance subscribing to the Epstein conspiracy theory which if true would mean Trump is absolutely guilty.

On a 1-10 scale of bad this has been a 10 out of 10 bad week for the party as a whole.

Sorry to rain on the parade but the reality is independents and less political people do not like being lied to, and there are very serious issues of 2026 happening right now that are not worth sacrificing for pretending Democrats lost 2020.

In 6 years documents that were already examined, that say the opposite were released and they confirm there was no election theft.

How this will play out remains to be seen. That said, Judicial Watch has been grinding away at voter fraud and voter registration roll neglect and manipulation for years and years. It has pursued and won its cases for this work in courts of law, seen defendants fined, plead guilty, submit to corrective actions, and millions of voters removed from eligibility in numerous states all across the country – millions.

I neither watch nor follow MSM on a full time basis observing it only occasionally in anecdotal clips. Nevertheless, over these same years, I have no memory of ever, EVER, seeing its work mentioned by any MSM outlet. This alone suggests two things: first that the information about to be released will justify – convincingly so – immediate action, similar to JW’s over the years, in cleaning up our electoral processes and, two, that the MSM will continue to ignore, resist, and attack the information. This alone will add to the information’s credibility.and further expose and erode the reputation of the MSM’s already in the toilet reputation.

What could be better, honest elections and a complete, final destruction of the past forty years of MSM mismanagement and practitioners. It’s a win-win.

And oh, Congress, pass the SAVE ACT for Pete’s sake. It’s a no brainer, even for no brainers.

isfoss in reply to Owego. | July 17, 2026 at 12:11 pm

McMullin has already made a speech vis a vis how DHS will take action on those states (blue) who do not comply with cleaning up voter rolls.

MoeHowardwasright | July 17, 2026 at 7:02 am

If elections and voter roles are on the up and up, then why are all these blue states refusing to turn over their rolls to the DOJ as required by law? If there is no there there it would seem to me that they would be happy to show the President is a raving lunatic. Because you know they have been saying that for 10 years and now they can prove it. Yet they force the DOJ to file lawsuits to get access to run out the clock until November. When I see Tillis ranting against the SAVE Act it makes me think how much money do the Chinese have invested in him?

1) Paper ballots only.
2) In person voting only
3) Election Day voting only
4) Positive ID required
5) Tabulation must be complete by 11:59 on Election Day.
6) The punishment for election fraud should be swift and severe. I personally believe that it should be a capital offense. If you try to rig an election, you’re stealing another person’s liberty. The cemeteries are filled with men who have given their lives for our right to self-government. It is an abomination that we should permit anyone to screw with that.

Our elections have been a joke for generations. I do not believe that Obama, Biden, Warren and a very long list of others legitimately held office.

I further believe that if we were to implement the suggestions outlined above that the Democrats would become a minority under 25%.

That’s how bad I think our situation really is.

The public is not listening anymore like they are not listening to Epstein stuff. There is only so much energy people can spare and maintain. In 48 hours this will be forgotten and something else will take over. DJT is a Godsend as President but even he has talked too much to the point where few pay any attention.

inspectorudy | July 17, 2026 at 9:49 am

This will be seen as another rant by DJT about the 2020 election and nothing more. Most will not see that nothing has changed and the midterms will be just as corrupt if not more. Trump failed to name one single person involved with any of this except China, duh. Like every scandal he has mentioned, nothing will happen and no one will be held to account. Without massive immideate punishment of voter fraud people, it will not stop. It’s tough to take but we have to admit that our country is on the precipice of failure. The Dems are anti-American, Gen Z is over 50% in favor of Socialism, our federal judges are corrupt, the SCOTUS is incompetent, Islam is chipping away at our freedom and the average citizen is too busy to be concerned. An example of nothing will happen is how many corrupt pols and DC slimes have been prosecuted since Trump came into office? Zero, zip, nada!

isfoss in reply to inspectorudy. | July 17, 2026 at 12:33 pm

Yes, the partisan media will see it as another “rant” and it’s already underway. Trump had to make that speech to set the record straight that there is interference from China (not Russia per se) in our elections and this needs to be addressed. And the timing is appropriate; yes, he needs to reinforce the importance of passing the SAVE Act. Why not? If complacent Americans choose not to listen, that’s on them. Let them find out the hard way when the Democrats cheat because they will. Hopefully there will be legal action taken against those who have interfered in fair election in 2020. The country cannot survive without voters feeling confident that their votes will be counted fairly and that who should not be voting are, in fact, not voting. Amen.

E Howard Hunt | July 17, 2026 at 11:06 am

Absentee ballots and vote harvesting are major scandals that hurt Trump. But it was a crap speech where he tried to confuse technical vulnerabilities with actual harm done. He was singing ti the choir and hurt himself. He should have focused on only the above 2 items and voter ID.

As always, we can count on the media to minimize the impact. WAPO did not disappoint. The liberal rag stated that Trump proclaimed that China stole data, but did not offer any evidence that the election was manipulated. So now we know the framework that will be used to bury this.

    isfoss in reply to kelly_3406. | July 17, 2026 at 12:15 pm

Of course the media will downplay Trump’s speech and claim that it’s all BS. They still hate Trump and take orders from the communist Democrat Party, then and now. Expect the media to be on its worst behavior in the days ahead and expect the Democrat Party to commit unthinkable acts of sabotage against Trump. That’s where the country is at right now while Trump tries to defang Iran.
