Iran Again Plotting to Assassinate President Trump, Israeli Intel Warns
WSJ: “Israel shared new intelligence with the U.S. that it said indicated a fresh Iranian plan to kill President Trump.”
Israeli intelligence has alerted the U.S. to a new Iranian plot aimed at assassinating President Donald Trump, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.
The intelligence warning comes after Iran on Thursday buried Ayatollah Khamenei following a weeklong funeral ceremony. At stage-managed processions, regime operatives called for the murder of President Trump. Mourners carried placards and banners calling for the assassination of President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and other U.S. officials.

Calls for the killing of the U.S. president grew even louder as Khamenei was finally buried in his hometown of Mashhad. “Khamenei’s funeral procession reached the country’s holiest shrine with a huge crowd packing the courtyard, some bearing banners denouncing the U.S. president and reading, ‘We Will Kill Trump,'” Reuters reported Thursday.
The latest intelligence underscores an ongoing Iranian campaign against President Trump. In 2024, U.S. authorities foiled a similar Iranian-backed plot, charging three IRGC-linked agents connected to the conspiracy.

The WSJ reported the Israeli warning:
Israel shared new intelligence with the U.S. that it said indicated a fresh Iranian plan to kill President Trump, people familiar with the matter said, a finding that would mark an escalation in the war between Washington and Iran.
Iran for years has vowed openly to retaliate against Trump for the assassination of Qassem Soleimani, who was a top general in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in the president’s first term. (…)
The White House referred The Wall Street Journal to comments the president made on Wednesday.
Trump on Wednesday alluded to threats to his life when speaking to reporters in Ankara, Turkey.
“They want to take out the U.S. leader—me,” he said. “I’m on every list. I saw this morning, I’m on every single one of their lists. And so far, I guess I’ve been a little bit lucky, but that maybe doesn’t last very long.”(…)
Iranian mourners at the funeral for slain Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei chanted for Trump’s death, with mourners unveiling a banner that read “We Will Kill Trump.”
Iran’s slain Ayatollah had himself called for assassinating President Trump. In 2022, he posted a computer-generated video of IRGC drones targeting the president in his Mar-a-Lago home. This was supposed to avenge the killing of top Iranian terror operative Qassem Soleimani in a 2020 drone strike in Baghdad.
During the course of Operation Epic Fury, several Iranian regime henchmen threatened to kill President Trump, including Ali Larijan, Iran’s de facto leader following Khamenei’s elimination. Larijan was killed in an Israeli strike in mid-March. Iran’s Intelligence Minister Esmaeil Khatib, who oversaw plots to assassinate President Trump, was also killed in an Israeli strike around that time.

Iran is still in the minor leagues compared to the Progressive Democrats who try to assassinate Trump every 6 months. And, they have already drawn blood.
What is crazy is how posters on other news sites inevitably blame the Iranian assassination attempts on Jews or Trump himself. Of course, they blame everything bad on Jews or Trump or both.
The irgc and the mullahs are the ones doing the plotting. The crowds at the funeral were irgc who are totally committed to the religious death cult. As well as citizens forced to participate in the funeral procession and chanting. There is no negotiating with any of the people who claim to be in charge. The President needs to pull his negotiators back to the US. Stop thinking you’re dealing with rational people. You’re not. The Israelis know where everyone in the chain of command is hiding. Go after them. Send them off to meet their God and find out if there really are multiple virgins waiting for them. Destroy Karg Island. Go after every underground bunker you know about. The mullahs want a war. Give it to them, but make it one sided. Start escorting tanker and cargo traffic through the Strait. Bring in the B-52’s and carpet bomb their military and industrial targets. Let Israel and Lebanon finish off hezbollah.
So the 5th branch (4th is the fed reserve) of the US government plans another attempt on Trumps life. Maybe deep state has alway been in control of Iran.
Why “again”? When did Iran ever stop plotting to kill Trump?
Yeah, ‘again’ doesn’t seem accurate. Probably more fair description would be something like; another in a long series of potentially credible op plans to take out DJT was discovered and passed along. The Iranian regime has been engaged in killing, maiming and otherwise harming US Citizens since ’79. It would be ‘news’ if they didn’t have a current plan to do so.
Yeah, the obvious new twist would be to have built a bomb into the Qatari “Air Force One. ” I can’t imagine it would be hard to find a few or more Iranian sympathizers in Qatar, not to mention to the fact that every single technician there who can work on an airplane is a foreign import. Only one or two of them are Mossad agents and the rest at a minimum might be willing to “do a little side job” for four or five million dollars.

Iranian leaders, being the nutbags they are, create an environment in which Israel has no need to act in this manner. I’m not saying Israel doesn’t do this, I’m saying such behavior by Israel isn’t necessary when Iran is involved.

What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. The difference here is not intent (we’ve killed their guys, they’d like to kill ours), it’s the ability to do something devastating in response. When a devastating response to an action is possible, sane actors sit on their hands, while insane actors get to work regardless of the consequences for themselves or their countries. Iranians planning to kill Trump just shows they belong in the “insane” category.
