After Trump’s Warning, US Forces Strike Iranian Targets

President Trump: The U.S. “must, of necessity, respond to this attack.”

President Donald Trump said that the U.S. “must” respond after Iran downed an Apache helicopter over the Strait of Hormuz.

“I have just been informed by our Great Military that last night the Iranians shot down one of our highly sophisticated Apache Helicopters while patrolling over the Strait of Hormuz,” President Trump wrote on Truth Social.

The U.S. “must, of necessity, respond to this attack,” he added.

The remarks on Tuesday evening sharply contrast with the president’s earlier statements that the U.S. was nearing a deal with the Mullah regime.

On Monday night, Iranian forces shot down an AH-64 Apache helicopter while it was patrolling off the coast of Oman. The two pilots onboard the helicopter were rescued by a U.S. sea drone. The rescued crew members were “safe and uninjured,” President Trump assured.

“The two crew members were rescued by a sea drone in the first such operation ever carried out by the U.S. military,” CBS News reported. “The surface drone rescued the soldiers and transported them to another location on the water where they were then hoisted up to a helicopter for further transport, according to a U.S. official.”

The Associated Press reported:

President Donald Trump blamed Iran on Tuesday for shooting down a U.S. Army helicopter close to the Strait of Hormuz and said the United States must respond. Iran’s top diplomat said foreign military forces near the country’s territory “are at constant risk.”

In the first known operation of its kind by the American military, a drone boat rescued the two aviators who were aboard the Apache attack helicopter when it went down near the critical shipping lane that Iran has effectively closed during its war with the U.S. and Israel. (…)

The downing of the helicopter further strained a two-month ceasefire a day after Iran and Israel exchanged fire for the first time since the fragile truce took effect. Iranian state television said Tuesday that the Israeli attacks killed at least two members of the country’s air-defense units.

CENTCOM: U.S. Begins Strikes on Iran

Following President Trump remarks, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that the military was conducting self-defense strikes against Iran.

The strikes were under President’s “direction, in response to yesterday’s downing of a U.S. Army Apache helicopter,” Centcom said.

After targeting a U.S. Army helicopter, the Iranian regime issued a not-so-veiled threat to American service members deployed in the Middle East. “Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, warned that foreign military forces operating near Iranian territory were putting themselves at risk and suggested the safest course would be for them to leave,” UK’s Daily Telegraph reported.

Abbas Araghchi, warned that foreign military forces operating near Iranian territory were putting themselves at risk and suggested the safest course would be for them to leave,

“Oh Abbas, I get so excited when you talk like that,” replied Iran’s Speaker of Parliament, Mohamidge Ghalibarf.

This is a test – what Trump does is critical – no more yakking. Remember, Islam promotes lying, killing. Hit them 10x as hard as we were hit.

BTW, where is the helicopter? Can it be destroyed or will it land in China’s military?

happened.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces began launching self-defense strikes against Iran at 5 p.m. ET today at the Commander in Chief’s direction, in response to yesterday’s downing of a U.S. Army Apache helicopter. The mission is a proportional response to unjustified Iranian aggression.

need much more though, f*ck proportional b*lls**t.

see, iran and its buddies have no reason no need to stop the attacks

they dont run for office and they have the msm on their side to constantly threaten america/trump

losing the elections should always be the forgone conclusion if it means not once again playing into the hands of the local terrorogs in america

we know they are looking for our defeat
we know their level of antisemitism gets strong with the mamdummis and omarians in control

so thats not nor should it be an issue in our morally correct pursuits to maga

Proportioned response gets no one anywhere. Tit for tat only works if it’s a big TAT. The final responses to Japanese aggression in WWII (WW Eleven for adept Congress reps) were very appropriate. I dearly hope were are successfully smuggling in arms for the good guys and getting set to support a civil was to kill all IRGC. That an AI powered drone ship did the rescue adds spice to this.

Now maybe he’ll understand Netanyahu’s situation better. You can’t just not respond to attacks on your citizens and military ;it looks weak and pathetic and invites more attacks.

I agree but you know this happens all the time. Some nutcase arab attacks Israelis. The US the UN, Nato, Canada. Eurotrash etc. demands restraint on Israel’s part. They don’t value Israelis or Jewish lives.

What they should say is kick the Muhammed out of them, They should say it every time.

Hit a power plant. Then, the next time Iran goes on offense, hit TWO powerplants.

When they ain’t got no ‘lectricity, they’ll figure out that we’re serious.

An eye for an eye, etc., etc.

So, if the US is attacked, of course we respond. It’d be stupid not to.

But, when Israel is attacked, US Presidents (including Trump as recently as yesterday) immediately call the Israeli PM and tell him not to respond.

In just the past month, same thing happened regarding at least three of the Arab States in the Gulf.

I don’t see how this ends in America’s favor. There is no armed militia inside Iran that is well supplied and trained to take on the IRGC. There is no intention or political support for a US led ground invasion to clean out the IRGC. There is no other group outside Iran ready to go in and we cannot defeat and eliminate the IRGC from the air. Time is on their side and they are going to wait this out.

Really? So a shattered terrorist state in a hopeless spiral of military and economic decline unable to effectively pursue its insane nuclear ambitions and unable to continue its piracy in Hormuz is not a favorable outcome for you? The ultimate elimination of the islamo fascist terror state would be great but it’s not the only way this ends in favor of the good guys.

How does this NOT end up in US favor?

Iran’s currency is worthless, and they’re losing $500 Million in hard currency income each DAY due to the blockade.

You seem to be assuming that we require a regime change for victory. We do not.

The win conditions here are simple: Iran gives up enriching uranium and agrees to never have nuclear weapons. Iran agrees that the Strait is international waters that they do not control and can not impose tolls. In exchange, we end the blockade and lift sanctions.

    Everything else is negotiable.

I hope you are right but what reason is there to believe that the IRGC will follow through? They love delaying and lying. Once the money starts flowing, their proxies start rebuilding and pursuit of a nuclear weapon resumes.

Treat Iran like Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. No more talking, destroy their capability to make war, period.
