Israel Eliminates Hamas, Islamic Jihad Commanders as Gaza Operation Nears 1000-Day Mark
IDF Chief Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir “This day reminds us of our overall responsibility and the weight that rests on our shoulders.”
The Israeli military eliminated several Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) commanders responsible for the October 7 massacre as the counter-terrorism operations in Gaza near the 1000-day mark.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Tuesday announced the elimination of “Ali Qaid Mohammed Stitan, a Nukhba platoon commander in the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization” in a precise aerial strike in central Gaza. “Ali Qaid infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th Massacre,” the IDF disclosed. “Throughout the war and in recent days, Ali Qaid attempted to advance terror attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians.”
Talal Jaber Mohammad Abd al-Aal, who led a PIJ terrorist cell on October 7, 2023, and held hostages in captivity during the ensuing war, was also killed in a strike, the IDF revealed on Tuesday. “Abd al-Aa commanded a terrorist cell that infiltrated Israeli territory and took part in the Oct 7th Massacre,” the IDF said. “Throughout the war, Abd al-Aal took part in holding hostages, who were held by the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization in the southern Gaza Strip.”

In a major blow to Hamas, Israel killed a commander in its Rafah Brigade, responsible for terrorist operations in southern Gaza. On Tuesday, the IDF announced that based on intelligence from the country’s Shin Bet security agency, “struck and eliminated Mohammad Fathi Abd al-Hay Abu Fakher, Commander of the Yibna Battalion in Hamas’ Rafah Brigade.”
“In recent weeks, Abu Fakher had been recruiting new terrorists to the battalion, leading their training, and attempting to restore the battalion’s capabilities in order to attack IDF troops,” the IDF statement added. “Abu Fakher was a veteran Hamas commander and one of the senior officials in the Supply Department of Hamas’ military wing. For approximately 20 years, he was a central figure in the terrorist organization’s smuggling network.”

IDF seals off 10-mile Hamas terror tunnel where IDF soldier Hadar Goldin’s body was found, destroys another
The IDF sealed off a massive terror tunnel complex where Lt. Hadar Goldin was held hostage and killed in August 2014. Hadar and his team were ambushed by Hamas soldiers after Israel accepted a ceasefire. Two IDF soldiers were killed, and terrorists dragged Hadar into the tunnel. Hamas returned his body as part of a hostages-for-terrorist swap in November 2025.
Israeli combat engineers labored for three months to seal off the 10-mile-long tunnel. “The operation used more than 30,000 cubic meters of concrete,” the IDF said.
The Times of Israel noted that the “underground labyrinth where his body was held ran over 16 kilometers (nearly 10 miles) long and extended some 25 meters (82 feet) deep, according to the military. It also featured some 80 separate rooms, including command posts for senior terror commanders.”

Israeli military announced Tuesday that it struck another “Hamas underground terror infrastructure site in Deir al-Balah, in the Gaza Strip.”
The strikes come amid Hamas’s attempts to restore the remaining terror tunnel network. “In recent weeks, the IDF identified that, in violation of the ceasefire agreement, the Hamas terrorist organization had been attempting to restore the infrastructure. Accordingly, three targets within the underground infrastructure site were struck in order to dismantle it,” the military added. “The Hamas terrorist organization systematically embeds its infrastructure in the heart of the civilian population in the Gaza Strip, cynically exploiting civilians and using them as human shields to advance terrorist attacks.”

IDF chief honors Oct. 7 victims, fallen soldiers ahead of 1000-day mark
The IDF chief of staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, remembered the victims of the October 7 attack and fallen soldiers ahead of the Gaza operation’s 1,000-day milestone. “This day reminds us of our overall responsibility and the weight that rests on our shoulders,” the IDF chief said at a memorial service for the soldiers killed in the war. “We remember, we learn, and we prepare for the continuation of combat and the many challenges still ahead.”
“The October 7th massacre was an assault on the very existence of the Jewish people,” he recalled. “We remember the fallen, their heroism, and their families, alongside those wounded in mind and in body. This memory obligates us to continue changing, moving forward, drawing lessons, and embedding them as part of the regional race to learn and adapt.”

Trump gets all upset with Israel’s defending itself and tells them to stop it in . . 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . .
Hamas is fooked. Sorry for your loss.
Never gave a rat’s hind-end about Hamas. Just worried that Trump will have another hissy fit with Israel about them protecting themselves. That is all.
eot
If I was Israel I wouldn’t say anything but I’d continue to kill terrorists and stir their nests whenever possible. In other words take advantage of the “cease fire” with Iran to continue business as usual without bringing attention to my activities.
“ In a major blow to Hamas…”
We keep hearing this but it seems that there’s an inexhaustible supply of evil within Islam.
Which makes me think. Israel was given a god forsaken sandbar as a “homeland” post WWII. In the years since they have quite literally made the desert bloom. They have a thriving economy with many industries producing goods and services.
What exactly does Hamas contribute to humanity besides their insatiable desire to kill Jews?
Iridescently evil.
It is certainly an overused term, but the Rafah Brigades are among the few terrorist formations that remain somewhat intact.
Your right about everything you said, except one thing, they have an insatiable desire to kill more then just Jews, though that seems to be a bit of a priority, on account of proximity, but they also desire to kill or conquer any and all infidel that refuse to submit ( as Islam means ‘submit’) and worship their fake god. That means both the Christian and the Jew alike. We are all at risk.
Get them ALl
ALL
Dang
Looks like the Shin Bet is methodically hunting down anyone who participated in October 7.
It is helpful that they photographed themselves as seen in the accompanying picture.
Good luck and never stop looking for these terrorists and killing them
