Iran Fires Ballistic Missiles, Drones at Arab States as Conflict Approaches 100-Day Mark
Reuters: “Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps said it had attacked U.S. bases in Kuwait and Bahrain in retaliation for U.S. strikes and fired at four tankers trying to cross the strait without its permission.”
As the conflict reached its 100th day, Iran fired a barrage of ballistic missiles and drones at Kuwait and Bahrain. The regime’s military-terrorist arm, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), also attacked oil tankers approaching the Strait of Hormuz.
“Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps said it had attacked U.S. bases in Kuwait and Bahrain in retaliation for U.S. strikes and fired at four tankers trying to cross the strait without its permission,” Reuters reported Saturday.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) targeted Iranian air defense systems in retaliatory strikes. “U.S. forces struck Iranian coastal radar sites on Saturday after shooting down drones launched by Iran toward the Strait of Hormuz,” the news agency added.
The IRGC says it launched missiles at U.S. bases in Kuwait and Bahrain in response to U.S. strikes on Sirik and Qeshm Island. CENTCOM said Iran launched seven ballistic missiles, six of which intercepted and a seventh did not reach its intended target. No damage to U.S. bases. pic.twitter.com/f0IWvxNz71

Ahead of the latest round of Iranian escalation, President Donald Trump asserted that the regime’s missile stockpile, which includes ballistic missiles capable of reaching European cities, has largely been destroyed.
Tehran lost all but 20 percent of its pre-war missile stockpile, he told NBC News on Friday:
Trump [said] that so far in the conflict, the U.S. has “totally destroyed their military,” but added that Iran still does have some missiles and drones.
“Most of the drone factories have been knocked out, most of the launching pads have been knocked out, and most of the missile manufacturing areas have been knocked out. But they still have capacity. They have some missiles, they have some drones,” he said. “I would say percentagewise, maybe 21%-22% of their missiles. It’s a lot of missiles, but it’s not what it was when we first attacked.”
On February 28, 2026, the U.S. and Israel launched a joint military operation following months of mass killing of pro-democracy demonstrators. The Mullah regime was pushing ahead with a nuclear weapons and long-range missile program. In the opening strike, the Israeli air force eliminated Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several top military commanders.
The strikes continued for 37 more days, with U.S. and Israeli forces decimating Iran’s senior regime and military leadership. In quick succession, several of Ali Khamenei’s de facto successors were neutralized, paving the way for his son Mojtaba Khamenei to claim the top job. Since his appointment, Khamenei Jr. hasn’t spoken or shown his face in public, raising questions about his mental and physical state.
Iranians are celebrating the news of Khamenei’s death. Listen to this man live from Karaj, near Tehran.

“The mission of Operation Epic Fury is laser-focused: Destroy Iranian offensive missiles, destroy Iranian missile production, destroy their navy and other security infrastructure – and they will never have nuclear weapons,” Secretary of War Pete Hegseth declared.
The regime’s nuclear program suffered devastating blows with strikes hitting targets ranging from uranium mining sites to nuclear enrichment facilities. Iran’s air defense system was virtually taken offline as Israeli and U.S. fighter jets struck targets across the country.
On March 2, Hezbollah unleashed rockets and drones at Israel, dragging Lebanon into the war. Israel responded with an aerial and ground operation to flush the terrorist group from southern Lebanon.
The most dramatic moment of the war came in early April when two pilots went missing after the Iranians shot down their F-15. Both crew members were recovered in two separate daring rescue operations.

My fellow Americans, over the past several hours, the United States Military pulled off one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History, for one of our incredible Crew Office Members, who also happens to be a highly respected Colonel, and who I… pic.twitter.com/FNPWV6MPvA

Despite devastating blows to its leadership and arsenal during the operation Epic Fury, Tehran retains an aggressive posture.
Near-daily attacks from Iran are jeopardizing a fragile ceasefire. After announcing a two-week ceasefire in early April, President Trump extended it indefinitely until a deal was reached. Iran has repeatedly violated this 58-day-old truce by launching deadly airstrikes against neighboring Arab states and targeting commercial shipping.
Iran’s greatest terrorist asset, Lebanon-based Hezbollah, has adopted the same tactic. On Friday, the terrorist group rejected a U.S.-brokered truce between Israel and Lebanon that called for Hezbollah to stop targeting Israeli troops and civilians. “The Lebanese armed group Hezbollah has emphatically rejected the terms of a US-backed ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon,” the BBC reported. “It comes after Israel and Lebanon announced a renewal of their fragile ceasefire with the creation of ‘pilot’ security zones inside Lebanon in which Hezbollah operatives would be banned.”

And you forgot to mention that the Trump administration has allowed Iran to repeatedly launch deadly airstrikes against neighboring states and to target commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
Over and over again Iran has violated the “ceasefire” with little to no consequences because Trump simply doesn’t have the balls to retaliate in a manner that will preclude Iran from doing so in the future. And Iran knows this so they have no incentive to abide by any ceasefire agreements brokered by the Trump Administration.
I’ll put my money on Trump just having more useless negotiations with the Iranian regime that will go nowhere and solve nothing. That is all.

The IRGC runs Iran, but is Arab, not Iranian. Trump seeks to preserve as much of Iran as he can on behalf of the actual Iranians.
Nope. The IRGC is composed of Iranians. Iranians that were nominally under the Supreme Ayatollah’s command. And now that he’s gone they consider themselves and completely independent organization acting above and beyond any remaining Iranian government that Trump is negotiating with.
And nope again, on your second claim. Trump has gone from, “Unconditional surrender or we destroy you completely.” to just talk, talk, talk, and yah, yah, yah. that accomplishes nothing in ending the debacle that he created. He simply doesn’t have the balls to do what is necessary to remove Iran as a world threat to stability and peace.
As I said before, I’ll put my money on Trump just having more useless negotiations with the Iranian regime that will go nowhere and solve nothing.

Now the US should understand what the ceasefires they are always forcing Israel into are like. We cease. They fire while rebuilding and rearming. I can’t decide whether the West is gullible or stupid or both.
The West is both gullible and stupid in that Western leadership thinks it can profitably negotiate with islamic terrorists. You would have thought they learned that lesson decades ago but apparently not.
Again with the “barrage”? This nonsense doesn’t improve with age. To reiterate, five ballistic missiles and 3 drones (all shot down/missed by the way) is not a barrage. It is a tantrum and transparently pathetic and stupid move by a defeated IRCG that somehow, in their violently stupid and broken little islamo-terrorist minds, thinks prolonging this conflict is the best way for them to maintain power.
Even if constituting a tactical “tantrum,” the Iranian regime’s behavior is not that of a regime that is conciliatory, deferential and surrendering.
That’s a problem.
No it isn’t.. That certain insane elements in the IRCG are acting out is not a threat when in reality the Iranians have been defeated. They are just an irritant, like the Somali pirates, that admittedly needs to be addressed. But it’s not that consequential, We don’t need a formal de jure surrender when the Iranian terrorist state has been de facto defeated. If their economy is wrecked and their oil production permanently damaged by their delays, that’s their choice. But as noted above, they’re idiots.
You know the more time passes the more I think of a parallel between Iran and Germany and Japan. The major axis powers were never going to surrender. They had to be conquered or faced with annihilation and then occupied. In Germany’s case this necessitated division, Their entire cultures and forms of government had to be ripped out by the roots and reconstituted.
Similarly Iran will never surrender. They are as fanatical as the nazis or the Japanese. Perhaps even more so, I think they are prepared to just wait until the West gets bored and moves on to something else or domestic politics intervenes. They will then reconstitute and renew their ongoing efforts.
So if true what do we do. Bomb them into submission? Not likely to be successful given their mindset and their complete annihilation is not on the table.
Occupation? This isn’t likely given domestic realities. It might not even be successful. The radical elements would again just wait us out,
The only winning scenario I currently see is regime change, Kick the radical element out of government and hope the new government purges them completely. Aside from the challenge of forcing a regime change it is not clear this would be successful in the long term. After all the Taliban are now back in power after being forced out.
Iran will never surrender.
They will just wait around until the West gets tired and then start grinding again.
More Islamic taqiyya-based deceit and mendacity, from the Iranian Islamofascist/terrorist regime. It is long past time to go scorched earth on this cancerous regime, General Sherman-style.
Wondering if anyone in White House world has read Carl v. Clauswitz book On War?
It still applies today though 200 years old
“They have some missiles, they have some drones,” he said. “I would say percentagewise, maybe 21%-22% of their missiles.””
Sigh. Percentages are worthless without numbers, and numbers are worthless without percentages.

That is one set of estimates. Other sites give other estimates, Bottom line is they still have thousands of each with the ability to produce more.
I think it is past time to carpet bomb the population centers with AK;s RPG’s, and ammo. let the citizens take over.
