Illinois School District Spends $360,000 so Boys Can Change in Girls’ Locker Rooms

Illinois School District Spends $360,000 so Boys Can Change in Girls’ Locker Rooms

Deerfield public schools would rather spend $360,000 defending its policies than tell a gender-confused boy he cannot go into the girls’ locker room.

A school district in the wealthy Deerfield suburb of Illinois spent nearly $360,000 defending its policy of letting gender-confused boys use the girls’ locker rooms.

The left-wing Chicago Sun Times said it received documentation showing that Deerfield District 109 “paid $358,051 to navigate the legal challenges and related expenses — equivalent to 37% of the federal funds it received last year,” following a viral complaint from a parent.

Last year, Nicole Georgas spoke at a school board meeting about how her 13-year-old daughter and other girls were forced to share the locker room at their school with a gender-confused boy.

“Georgas alleged administrators made her daughter change in front of them and the other student,” the Sun Times reported. “My daughter refused to take part in having her privacy being violated,” Georgas said at a school board meeting last March.

The story prompted a federal investigation by the Department of Education, which remains open.

Yet instead of practicing common sense and having the boy use the boys’ locker room or the “gender-neutral” room which the district built, officials decided to double down.

The obtained expenses “included $255,038 for legal defense, $55,335 for communications consultants, $30,551 in school security upgrades, [and] $7,476 for additional police and private security.”

The district also spent “$4,000 for extra staff to screen threats and other costs associated with accommodating the crowds at school board meetings.”

A local LGBT leader blamed conservative backlash over boys watching girls undress for the spending, not the insane policies of the district.

“When schools are forced to fight lawsuits over issues that aren’t a problem for the vast majority of people, it’s a waste of taxpayer dollars,” Bolingbrook Pride founder Allaina Humphreys said.

“Straight up monetarily, why are we spending so much time prosecuting and persecuting a minuscule part of the population?” she said.

Activists blamed conservative groups for creating a “manufactured controversy.”

But the solution is relatively simple – don’t let boys go into the girls’ locker rooms.

For years that was just common sense and probably earned a detention at every school, but that has changed as LGBT activists have tried to force their way into every female-only space.

News flash: this boy is not “gender confused”. He is a sexual predator and should be treated as such.

The proper course of action here is not school discipline or legal action. It’s the brothers of the girls involved taking him out back of the school and beating the living 💩 out of him.

Yes, I am very serious. What this scumbag wants to do to those girls is exponentially worse. When we stop allowing human nature to take its course, this is what happens.

It should not be controversial to protect daughters and sisters from monsters.

Democrats in office doing Democrat things on camera.

It’s Deerfield, Evanston’s prettier sister.

“Straight up monetarily, why are we spending so much time prosecuting and persecuting a minuscule part of the population?” she said.

You’re not. You’re spending all that time prosecuting and persecuting the vast majority, on behalf of a minuscule part of the population. You could have made this go away by paying the boy $1,000 to agree to change in the private room you built for him.

We cannot share a country with this doctrine of demons.

To paraphrase Lincoln:

“A house divided against itself cannot stand.” I believe this government cannot endure, permanently half doctrine of demons and half obedient to God. I do not expect the Union to be dissolved – I do not expect the house to fall – but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing, or all the other.”

We are at war. Prepare accordingly.

“A local LGBT leader blamed conservative backlash over boys watching girls undress for the spending, not the insane policies of the district.”

This is the crux of the problem; letting boys indiscriminately claim to be “girls” in order to use the women’s facilities is opening the door to the same abuse seen with another individual in Virginia: assault, move, re-assault. Are real women demanding access to the men’s facilities? Why not?

Why are we changing society and culture for “a minuscule part of the population?”

Seriously, real “transgenderism” (gender dysphoria) is only present in a couple of percentage points of the population. It should be TREATED, not accommodated, or more specifically, enabled.

“Activists blamed conservative groups for creating a “manufactured controversy.”

Manufactured by the mentally challenge Democrat Socialist party, that has no interest or solutions for real problems in our society. The ones they didn’t outright create, like this one.

Time to just say “NO!” I would homeschool before I let this travesty continue.

the same abuse seen with another individual in Virginia: assault, move, re-assault.

That individual was not assisted by these policies. The policy wasn’t even in effect for his first assault, and his second assault wasn’t in a restroom. And there’s no indication that he has ever claimed to be trans, other than his occasionally wearing a skirt.

The first assault was in a girl’s restroom not because he was claiming to be a girl, but because that was his and his girlfriend’s regular place for hooking up, obviously against the rules. He wasn’t allowed to be there, but neither he nor his victim cared. This wasn’t some predatory situation, where he attacked a random girl. It was his regular girlfriend, but she simply wasn’t in the mood that day, and he didn’t take no for an answer.

Are real women demanding access to the men’s facilities? Why not?

Yes, actually, they are. There have been cases in that direction too, with the same outcomes.

How nice that our resident ‘lawyer’ can parrot the lefts lies to us, as if he’s teaching us that we should always accede to leftist authority.

And here’s our resident demon from Hell, once again lying his lying face off through his lying teeth. Azathoth is allergic to the truth, all truth.

Indeed, but he was in the girl’s bathroom, wearing a skirt, taking advantage of the school’s transgender policies and the girl herself. I would posit that most of the men/boys trying to access women’s spaces are not “transgender,” but rather assaulters. Regardless of his “gender fluidity,” the permissiveness (and subsequent defense) of the school. That is de facto transgender policy.

Per the internet, for what it is worth:

“A $30 million lawsuit was filed against Loudoun County Public Schools following a May 2021 sexual assault in a girls’ bathroom at Stone Bridge High School, an incident that became a national flashpoint in the debate over transgender bathroom access. The attacker, a male student wearing a skirt, assaulted a female classmate; however, investigations by a grand jury and a law firm found no evidence the perpetrator identified as transgender or that he wore the clothing to exploit gender identity policies, which were not yet in effect at the time of the attack.

Institutional failures were heavily criticized in subsequent reports, which revealed that school administrators, including former Superintendent Scott Ziegler, ignored multiple warnings and allegedly attempted to cover up the assault while the school board debated inclusive bathroom policies. The attacker, later identified as Hunter Heckel, committed a second sexual assault at Broad Run High School in October 2021 after being transferred despite known behavioral issues; he was convicted as a juvenile and sentenced to a residential treatment facility and lifetime sex offender registration.

While the 2021 case fueled intense political controversy regarding transgender rights, official documents state the assaults had little to do with the attacker’s gender identity, as teachers reported he preferred male pronouns and his mother stated he identified as heterosexual. The incident continues to influence policy discussions, with recent reports in 2026 alleging further bathroom privacy violations involving transgender students in the same district, though these remain under investigation.”

Indeed, but he was in the girl’s bathroom, wearing a skirt, taking advantage of the school’s transgender policies and the girl herself.

No, he wasn’t. There were no such policies at the time. And there’s nothing in the record to indicate that he was wearing a skirt at the time either. The school rules at the time strictly forbade him from being in the girls’ room, but he was there regularly anyway, hooking up with his girlfriend, which was also against the rules.

So you can’t blame the school rules for allowing what happened on that occasion. You can blame the school for the way it handled it after it happened. You can even blame the school for not having caught the young couple on the multiple previous occasions that they had misused the girls’ room for their assignations. But you can’t say this happened because the school had a policy allowing boys into the girls’ room, because that is just not true.

I stand corrected. Good reason to read ALL the entries after a search.

It is indeed the role the school played afterwards that is the crux of the problem. The administration, for reasons that could be legal and/or part of the transgender wave inundating schools, administration for mishandling the initial investigation, failing to conduct a threat assessment, and allegedly covering up the severity of the situation.

One is a cover up, the other, an action decided by school policy. The transgender defense for his presence in the girl’s room was put forth by his father, who claimed he was “gender fluid.” This might have occurred for the same reasons that given above.

Oddly enough, the Loudoun County schools policy to allow transgender students to use the bathroom that matches their gender identity.
However, that policy was only adopted AFTER the assault.

That doesn’t sound particularly repentant. Hard to understand the “logic” in that if transgenderism isn’t defended by the school. There used to be a time when a boy in the boy’s room, or vice versa, was considered a serious crime.

This is not very different from the Catholic church’s “solution” to predatory priests, but the church didn’t, as far as I know, make a policy of acceptance after the fact, so woke policy is still rearing its ugly head in school policy. But that is altar boys under the bridge…..

In regards to the last point, I remember when the NFL forced the teams to allow female sportscasters and female crew in the locker rooms. It came in in stages, The teams remodeled the locker rooms at great expense to have clothed areas but the NFL demanded full access. There was no female football back then (no lingerie football or televised flag football) so reciprocity was not a point at contention.

Federal funds. Need I write more?

The trans nonsense lives on and on. Restrooms should have uniformed attendants with keys to decide who gets to come in: fight the BS with better BS.

The gender-confused boy should not only be kept out of the girls’ locker room, but should be removed from the school entirely, and enrolled in a mental institution.

I can think of a number of guys in my high school who would have happily worn a skirt to school every day if it meant they were allowed in the girls locker room. Hell, that was the fantasy of every hormone-raged boy. There are even movies about it (think Porky’s).

Culture Marxism spent the money, the boys just want to see girls not be one.
