Campus Carry Bill Fails in New Hampshire

This is so lame. Whatever happened to New Hampshire freedom?

New Hampshire campus carry bill shot down
A New Hampshire bill that would have allowed students to carry firearms on college campuses has been shot down.
The so-called campus carry bill passed the House early this year. It would have allowed anyone to have guns at New Hampshire’s public colleges. However, the Senate amended the legislation to just faculty while also allowing students to have other weapons, like stun guns.
Lawmakers in the GOP-controlled chambers were unable to find a compromise.
Sen. Sue Prentiss, D-Lebanon, says there are more pressing issues to worry about, like affordability. “What’s important to Granite Staters comes first. Addressing the real issues of public safety in our communities is next. And third, the compromise language was rejected by the House. I did not vote for it in the Senate, but it would have impacted private institutions,” she said.

I guess “Live free or die” just got changed to “die” if you are in one of these NH gun-free zones and need to defend yourself.
