Three Men Killed in Shooting at Islamic Center of San Diego

San Diego Police Chief Scott Wahl told the press that the two suspects in the shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego are dead.

We do not have a motive.

The two teenage suspects, aged 17 and 18, murdered three men, including a security guard. Wahl credited the security guard with preventing the attack from worsening.

Both are believed to have shot and killed themselves.

Thank goodness that all the children at the school are safe and sound.

A mother of one of the suspects called the police this morning:

The police received a call this morning about a “runaway juvenile” from the mother of one of the shooting suspects, Chief Scott Wahl of the San Diego Police Department said in a news conference. The woman believed that her son was suicidal, and said that several of her weapons and her vehicle were missing. She said that her son left with a companion, and that they were both dressed in camouflaged clothing.

The San Diego Police Department received phone calls about an incident around 11:14 AM PST. They confirmed an active shooter situation at the denter at 12:00 PM.

The police neutralized the situation by 1 PM.
