Speaker at Virginia Tech Explains His Stance on ‘Death to America’

Mohamed Abdou was fired by Columbia University for being too crazy for Columbia University, just so you know who we’re dealing with here. Isn’t it fascinating that conservatives are routinely shouted down on college campuses, but this guy is allowed to speak uninterrupted?
The tweet below says:
At Virginia Tech tonight, Mohamed Abdou opened his “Death to the Akademy” speech by declaring, “We are in a war, a racial religious war since 1492.”
He told students America is “the larger monster,” praised “General Sinwar,” called October 7 the “blessed day of Al-Aqsa Flood,” and said jihad can mean defending life “using the sword.”
Then he praised students as “a branch of the resistance” and said they were recognized as “a branch of the mujahideen.”
And when he explained “Death to America,” he was explicit.
“When we say Death to America, we mean, and loud and clear, a total end to U.S. empire. The destruction of this crusading settler colony, their entire project.”
Virginia Tech spent the last few days insisting this event was not happening. It happened. And this is what was said.

he is correct that we are in a war
so I suspect once again that the University agrees with him but hes currently

Mohamed Abdou seems to have a poorly developed sense of irony when he states matter-of-factly, without any real knowledge, the idea that VT was built on land stolen from the indigenous peoples. Then he pivots to praise Hamas in its fight against the Jews, the ancient indigenous peoples of current state of Israel.

In what. Capacity did he speak at VIT? Is he in the faculty there? Was he a guest of the local hamas chapter?

As long as there is a market for idiocy there will be vendors eager to sell. It’s sad that certain formerly prestigious universities have abased themselves to serve as venues, but it is just another sign of their credibility collapse along the way to irrelevance. Something more intellectually honest will eventually replace them, because there will always be those who demand substance over empty rhetoric.
Muslims have been very clear. Their goal is to take over and get us to convert. If we don’t, they will kill us. Why don’t we believe them?
